Build Your Business Online and Offline
A lot of online business owners use various online strategies, tools and software to build their business online. They use the tips of good website design, along with autoresponder messages to capture their audiences contact information... They send emails and offer free newsletters and reports, but few online businesses ever consider building their business even further offline.
Expanding your wealth offline is a major factor in increasing your revenues and profits. I can't emphasize this enough. This is how I've grown my business and I am a true believer in taking your business offline while still maintaining your online presence. You've got to be aggressive marketers. And you have to do this online as well as offline. It's amazing how much you can increase your conversions this way.
Obtain your customers online and take them offline as soon as possible. The biggest problem most website business owners have is they're not integrating other tools and various mediums into their business. You must do it if you want to stay alive online. The best way to take your business offline is by first, having your offer through an opt-in page made with a sequence of messages. This gives you the ability to contact your audience or potential customers over and over again.
Next, after these visitors opt-in to your list, you automatically send them to your sales page and after that you contact them by phone. You increase your personal connection this way and gain the trust of your visitors but you're also helping increase your conversion and response rate because this personal connection will likely make the sale!
You've got to realize, many business people make business so difficult when it's really a simple process. Just keep it simple, have a system like the one I use above and you can make thousands more for your business.
Even if you choose not to pick up the phone (although I highly recommend this) you can choose to offer your opt-in list a free physical item that can be mailed to them. Offer them something of value that they can't resist. This way you are sure to capture their personal mailing address. You give them that personal touch by taking your business offline and making that one-on-one connection. It's amazing how much of a response you can get mailing out an item to your potential customer – especially if it's for FREE!
Remember; don't ignore other avenues of your business. Offline advertising is one of the overlooked marketing strategies used today. Although you can save on shipping costs by having your businesses solely online, you're missing out on a ton of profits by excluding good old fashioned direct mail. Offline advertising is a must-do for your business. Don't neglect this profitable avenue.
Article 32: Using Videos to Grow Your Business
Taking your business to the next level is very doable especially if you consider adding video advertising to your marketing. Now when I say advertising I don't necessarily mean blatant in-your-face advertising. I mean showing what it is your business has to offer, whether it be services or tools or just offering information to your audience. These all can be considered forms of advertising. It gets your message across and can do it extremely quickly.
Video is viral. This visible medium can take your business to the next level because videos are so contagious. Consider YouTube.com and other video sites like Yahoo Video, MSN Video, Google Video, Brightcove, Mochila or Blinkx and others... These sites all have a huge following and if you place your video on any of these sites you are bound to see your traffic increase.
Communicating with your customers and potential customers with the use of video can add a fresh perspective to the always common simple website text. Video is dynamic, fresh and can be very informative in a matter of seconds. It saves your visitor time and also adds an intriguing twist to the regular static text online world.
Here are some tips to consider when adding video to your website:
1.First ask yourself if the video will add sales to your website. Your answer should be a definite yes!
2.Will you make the video yourself or have a professional produce it for you? There are a lot of fairly inexpensive video devices available that can produce good quality videos. Consider your market. Is your business extremely professional and targeting top notch clientele? If so, perhaps hiring a professional videographer is the answer. However, if your market can handle a more laid-back casual video style then you may be able to be your own personal videographer!
3.Do you have the expertise to produce, upload and host the video for your website? If not, perhaps you'll need to invest some time or possibly invest some money into educating yourself. There are also a lot of online resources available that can train you on how to add video to your website for free. But make sure you get good solid information that will make your business stand out from your competitors!
You must also consider that like with anything on the internet, marketing is one of the main factors in expanding your business. Why not test out video on your website and see the response. Online video is now in its infancy and other businesses are catching on fast. Make sure you're ahead of the game by adding video to your online marketing efforts so that you too can reap the rewards with increased sales.
