One Great Way To Generate A Lot Of Cold Hard Cash From Your Opt-In Email List

I bet you want to know what that one great way is! Right?!

Well, I have found that one of the fastest ways to make a lot of money from your opt-in email list is by giving teleseminars. Many people do teleseminars but just to deliver information. (FYI: Teleseminars, telecalls, and teleclinics are all the same thing; the only difference is the name.)

What I'm talking about is doing teleseminars and selling high ticket items. You see, I view teleseminars as just another media to sell your stuff and other peoples stuff. Just like a regular seminar. Because if you don't, it’s a disservice to your listeners.

Here is step-by-step exactly how I put on my teleseminars and get 50% or more of the people that pre-registered to join the call. Pretty good compared to the average which is 1/3rd. Follow the steps that I've laid out for you and you can get a lot of people on your teleseminar and make tons of money.

These steps have brought in over 250k for me in less than 3 months.

First step, get good at selling your stuff to large groups or find someone that is a great closer and can sell a lot of their own stuff on the phone. If you do look for someone else, you want to find someone that has a high closing ratio on teleseminars. If you want to make more money, sell a higher ticket price.

Second step, create a landing page where people can register for the call and fill-out information. You want to make sure that you ask for their first name, email address and phone number on this page. The best way to capture their information is by using an autoresponder which allows you to automatically send them the pin code, phone number and other call details.

After you have the registration page up and your autoresponder is ready, start crafting your email. You want to make sure that this email only has one outcome and that is for the reader to Sign-up for your telecall.

Send the email out to your list or find other people who will send it to their lists.

People will get your email and sign-up for the telecall giving you their first name, email address and phone number. I have found that you want to send it at least two times to make sure that you get more people signed-up. Remember what's happening as they sign up, they will automatically get an email from your autoresponder.

The average person that puts on teleseminars will get about 1/3 of the people that registered to the call that night because people forget about it, get diverted, sign-up for another call, or who knows but something may happen and they wont get on the call. Now let's fix that!

I don't like being average, I want better than average results and I get them! Here's how:

30 minutes before the call email the group in your autoresponder that registered for the call and let them know that the call will start in less than 30 minutes along with the PIN code and Phone number again. Also, remember I said to ask for their phone number, well there’s a reason for that... you want to send out a voice broadcast and tell them over the phone that the call starts very soon. If you do this, you won't find average results, 1/3, you'll see 50% of the people on the call.

If you have a good sales presentation or a good closer on the call, more people on the call means more money for you. Go out and make it happen. Go try it. Test it out and see the money roll in.

Free publicity is there for the grabbing. All it takes is a little creativity and a powerful ezine. Writing an ezine (commonly known as an email newsletter), will assist you in building credibility while marketing your company service or product.

Approaching the Concept
Before you jump into writing an ezine, take a few days to research what is currently circulating on the Internet. To do this, visit search engines like Google or AskJeeves and type in the keyword phrase “creating ezines”. On Google alone, you will receive 167,000 possibilities for resource information just for that day. Now tomorrow the number may increase.

It is no secret that the internet has created the new generation of millionaires in only a few short years. Every few seconds a person starts a home business somewhere around the world, and the amazing thing is that the market does not seem to be getting saturated anytime soon! Recognized Authority in Your Field – in 60 Days or Less!


You don’t have to be rock-star famous before you are recognized as an authority in your field. You just have to begin to get the word out. Your goal is to be the person that people think of when your field is mentioned. At first, that may happen only locally, but take heart. Start where you are, with what you have, and you’ll light a spark that could eventually become a firestorm of publicity.

Maybe you offer a workshop at your office, church, or community center. Get it in the community calendars, from newspapers to cable television. Call up your local news stations, and offer yourself as the subject of an interview. One listing or call at a time, you’ll begin to make a name for yourself.

When you have an event coming up, call your local news stations and offer to interview on their early morning or noontime talk shows. Prepare for your interview by identifying two or three main points you want to make about your subject. Take a blank videocassette to record the show. Then, you can send the recording as an audition tape to a station with a wider audience.

Contribute to public discussions. Write letters to the editors of newspapers and magazines whenever they cover stories in your field. You may offer an alternate viewpoint or simply compliment them on a well-written article. The more people see your name in connection with your subject, the more they’ll recognize you as an authority in your field.

You can take this strategy to the Web, too. Do you have a blog that allows you to share your thoughts and expertise on a daily basis? If not, that’s one place to begin. It’s quick, fun, and makes you available on the Web. If you already have a Web page, make it a habit to visit message boards in your field and post your link, along with your opinions. How To Get Free Publicity For Your Business


You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars on advertising to build an effective campaign. In fact, you can get great publicity that will drive customers to your door absolutely free of charge!

One of the best ways to do this is to attract press coverage. You don’t have to pay for advertising space to get written about in a newspaper or magazine, or on a website. All you have to do is interest the editor or webmaster in your story. Today’s media is huge – and it’s hungry for news. If you present a publication with a ready-made story that will interest their target audience they will snap it up.

The way to do this is to write a press release, sometimes called a “news release”. Release writing isn’t rocket science, but there are a few important tips and tricks to remember:

Make sure the release is dated, and has a contact name, address, phone number and email address. The contact should be a single, named individual.

Start off with an attention-grabbing headline that announces a piece of specific news. “Atlanta Motorbike Store Launches New Line of Helmets” is a good headline; “Atlanta Motorbike Store Has Another Good Year” is not. Your release should announce something specific and out of the ordinary.

Always include a quote. Store owner Mike Smith, 44, says, “we’re really pleased to be stocking X-Brand Helmets….” Quotes bring news stories to life and give them a human touch – you’ll look a long time before you find a professional media story without one.

Make sure your spelling, grammar and punctuation are one hundred percent accurate. If they’re not, the professionals in your target media will lose respect for you and trash your release. If you didn’t get top grades in English, get a friend to check it over.

Once you’ve written your release you need to distribute it. There are plenty of free newswires that will do this for you – www.internetnewsbureau.com is a good example. Remember that to be successful a press release needs to be targeted at a precise market. If you’re releasing on the topic of your new range of motorbike helmets in Atlanta, you’d better make sure every bike magazine and local newspaper in Georgia gets a copy.

It’s quite acceptable to email press releases. Just make sure that the text is included in the body of the mail – most sensible internet users are a little suspicious of mail attachments received from strangers.

So your release is out, and it’s getting you some coverage. What other cost-free means can you use to build your business’s profile? Well, the obvious place is the internet. Here are some suggestions:

Build web links. It’s a tactic as old as the internet and it takes time – but it’s still worth it. Make sure your business’s name is on every relevant free directory on the web. This can be pretty backbreaking work, but it will pull in the customers. Crucially, it will also improve your website’s rank on Google and other search engines.

Post to message boards. If you can find a web discussion forum related to your business topic, join in and post regularly. Don’t simply push your product – get involved in the online community. This is a great way to establish contacts. Make sure that your username is the same as your business name and that your forum profile contains a link to your site

One rule of advertising hasn’t changed since prehistoric times: nothing beats word-of-mouth. Ultimately the secret of getting free publicity is having a great product that people will talk about. 1.) Lead in with a free offer to prompt prospects to sign up for your subscriber list.

Get prospects to take a small commitment by signing up for your list in order to receive a free offer.

2.) Give subscribers a one time only offer.

Make an up sell for 50% of the price they just paid. For example, when a subscriber buys the one time offer of $100 make sure to offer them an up sell product for $50. 60% of the people will take you up on the up sell. They could be considered an “elite” member because they purchased two products.


If subscribers don’t buy the up sell and just buy the product then they are a “gold” customer.

If subscribers don’t buy the one time offer then offer a DOWN sell at 50% of the price of the original offer. Make this offer as irresistible as you can and as close to the first offer. The down sell can be very effective. A subscriber that buys the down sell is a “silver” member. The person that didn’t buy anything is the “free” member.

You can categorize your subscribers into free, silver, gold, and elite. Strive to convert all the subscribers into elite members.

Myth #1: You need to create your own product in or to run an Internet business.

Nope! The beauty of the Internet is that you can use as a promotional vehicle. You can promote the products of other Internet entrepreneurs. Myth #3: Creating and controlling markets is only be achieved by big, brick and mortar companies.

No way! You have the power to create and control markets if you know how. The key is to find subscribers that want your products and services. You can create your own market by surveying subscribers to see what they need. Find out what they need and give it to them. Embed yourself in a niche, learn about its customers, and there you go – you control the market!


Myth #4: If you have a huge subscriber list then you will automatically make bundles of cash.

Wrong-o-matic! Quantity does not beget sales. Instead, you need to focus on a quality subscriber list. A higher quality list will contain subscribers that are actually interested in and will purchase your products. That being said, never, never, never buy a list of email addresses. This type of list has zero quality and will label you a spammer.

While it is true that your squeeze page is critical to generating leads, it is also important to correctly set up and optimize your branding website. What exactly should you put on your branding website? What format should you use? Following are tips from an Internet marketing guru.

Branding Website Format:
The general format and layout of your branding website should resemble the format and layout of your sales letter. This means that the header, footer, and side lines in your sales letter should be used on your branding website as well. The header, footer, and side lines are a great way to enclose text. This layout gives a clean look that is easy on the eyes and loads quickly.
