The A9 Process of bringing more traffic to your website – Step 2

So now, Step 2 in the A9 process is you’re going to take your articles and you’re going to submit them to article submission websites.

Now, because this is a long and tedious process, here are a couple of cool things you can do.
First of all, if you go to this website, ArticleSubmitterPro.com, you can actually get a copy of a program that’s going to help you literally cut down 50% of the time it would take for you to actually go and submit all of these articles to different article submission websites.

In fact, we’ve got a little case study from the Internet Article Guy, Jeff Herring. Basically, he’s been saying that, when he wants more traffic, he just writes more articles. When he wants more prospects, he writes more articles. When he wants to build his list, he writes more articles. In fact, you know, if he wants more subscribers, he writes more articles. And definitely, when he wants more customers, he writes more articles. I mean, you can’t really get any more brass tacks than that. But you know, basically what he’s trying to say here is that articles and content are the way to actually drive traffic to your website.

It’s not, all this crazy different stuff like “put a link here,” “put a link there.” It’s creating content and making sure it spreads all over the internet – that’s what wins!

So, there’s a bonus for Step 2, and I just wanted to let you know that in the A9 process, one of the key things is when you go to ArticleSubmitterPro.com, you get the program. The program actually has about, I think, 2,500 different article submission websites. And I know some people are thinking, “wow, if I spread it out to 2,500 websites, that’s going to be a lot of different places, and I might get penalized by the search engines for that much duplicate content.”

Well, I’d have to agree. So, I would suggest choosing around 60 different websites that’s going to actually maximize your traffic for this one step. What this will do is enable you to spread out your content far enough, but not too far that it’s going to hurt you. Really, submitting your articles to too many sites is not a good thing. But just enough (about 60) is good. So I’ve actually got a list of all the sites that we have chosen to submit all these articles to, and in fact, these are the sites that I actually use daily as well. Go here http://DirectHorizonInc.com/notes.pdf to get the list.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

The A9 Process of bringing more traffic to your website – Step 1

The A9 process is something that we developed to make it easier for you to start generating more traffic. The name itself stands for “article” multiplied nine times. You’ll see what I mean in a second.

Content is what is going to drive you on the internet, so if you’re not putting content out on the internet, you’re basically wasting your time. Content is going to help you create an even stronger Google image, because there is more stuff out there that you’ve written about different subjects and also different topics inside your niche, which is all together going to make your site look more like an authority. This is what you want to try and become.

So first of all, the first step in this process is actually getting an article written.

Now, you can either write articles yourself or outsource. The articles don’t have to be four, five or ten-pages, they simply need to be one page. In fact, that is a requirement for this process, to only have a one-page article of 350-500 words at a 10.5 font size.

However, you want to make sure that you’re using content that’s beneficial to your customers and packed with good information, not just a bunch of fluff. Fluff just hurts you.

Now, here’s the cool thing about using information that’s actually good. Let’s say you have teleseminars, let’s say you recorded something – you know, all the fast ways of creating content, you can use that and chunk it up into pieces and create articles out of it.

I mean, how many of you have products that you could literally chunk up into small pieces and create articles out of all of those products?

So first, make sure it’s beneficial for your customers and second, you want to make sure that, at the end of every single article, there is some type of call to action, because guess what? If you’re not going to tell anybody to do something, what are they going to do? They’re going to do nothing. So you want to make sure that, no matter what, you’re always driving them to do something that you want them to do.

It’s always good to become an article writer yourself because you know the most about your own subject so obviously you’re going to be the best writer for it. But sometimes people aren’t good writers, in this case you need to find a great writer. So, I’ve compiled a list of great places you can go to begin your search at a reasonable cost.

Here are five places I go to get good content written for me: TheRealArticleFactory.com, TheGuestProfessor.com, ThePhantomWriters.com, Content-Writer.org, and then ArticleAuthors.net

If you haven’t started writing articles to grow your business start now! You’ll reap huge rewards for your efforts.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Being Featured In A Magazine – How to MILK IT!

If you are going to be a featured expert in a publication, milk it like there’s no tomorrow. I had a student who told me he was going to be featured in Men’s Fitness Top 100 Trainers. Now that is huge! So the strategy I told him to follow was to first write a press release as soon as he knew for sure that he’d be featured in that publication. You too should follow this advice. Even if it’s ahead of your publication date, get the word out as quickly as possible.

Don’t just write any press release and submit it to popular free press release sites. Pay the press release fees to get the most exposure possible. Actually, if you go to PRWeb.com and pay the $200 fee, this will get your press release out there and in the hands of the most important people in your industry. You’ll get huge coverage. A $200 fee is nothing if you think about the exposure, extra traffic and being seen as an authority figure in your market. Now that is priceless!

A press release is not the only thing you should do. Tell the world! Place “as featured in Men’s Fitness” on your website, your blog, and your bio line for all of the articles that you submit. Even getting a picture of that issue and placing it on your site can give you a ton of credibility. Visuals make all the difference. This will definitely increase your conversions!

And definitely send a heads up to your list as well as use social networks like Digg to share your new-found fame. When you’re doing this you could say something like “Hey look, I just want to let you guys know I’m so excited because I’m going to be featured in Men’s Fitness Top 100 Trainers and I just wanted to let you guys know about that. I’m just so excited!...” Something to that effect.

You want to create as much leverage as possible. And sharing this with others and communicating is a great way to spread the word. Who knows, people will most likely begin to reference you and tell others about you. This could grow your business exponentially! So, don’t forget to milk it like there’s no tomorrow.

Matt Bacak

RE: its only $10?

You see, I am a complete information junkie.

I always have mp3s of the latest course and teleseminar
playing in my car. I buy everyone's stuff--which can range
in the thousands of dollars.

But there's one info-product I listened to that
totally blew me away. It was Russell Brunson's "Affiliate
Evolution" package that went live on Tuesday at 12:00
noon EST.

Now it's not one of those general information products
we're used to seeing in internet marketing.

Why?

Because Russell reveals the specific gritty details
of how he quadrupled the commission he received for
promoting Mike Filsaime's "Seven Figure Code" internet
marketing course...

...and how he's able to repeat this over and over again,
with every product he promotes!

You can see the specific case study here:

http://mbacak.thesecondtier.com/affiliateevolution

You see, over a THOUSAND people got a hold of Affiliate
Evolution within a few hours of launching. It makes sense
considering the product is only a few bucks!

...which is waaaay different than most of the thousand-dollar
info-products I've studied!

See what the fuss is about by going here:

http://mbacak.thesecondtier.com/affiliateevolution

Hope you're having a fantastic week
and I'll talk to you soon!

Best regards,

Matt Bacak

P.S. Please take action today. Because Russell is going to
raise the price of Affiliate Evolution and take the exclusive
bonuses off the table since he's going to put the content
in an upcoming $500 home study course!

How to Hide Your Affiliate Link

If you are promoting a product there are times where you just want to hide the fact that you are an affiliate. You don’t want to seem as though you’re pushing a product because you want to make a quick buck. So, what do you do? You customize or shall I say you hide your affiliate link so those seeing your link have no idea you have any association with the product you are recommending.

So, how is this done? It’s fairly simple. Let me explain...

You get an affiliate link it’s going to be like adomain.com/ with some weird set of numbers and letters at the end of the link. Basically, everybody’s affiliate program always shoots out a different link. Then there’s a certain identification or ID number on that link that points back to you. But these links are usually pretty ugly and long.

This can easily be changed. When I get an affiliate link, it’s easy to make sure that people don’t know it’s an affiliate link. What I’ll do is I’ll go in and I create a redirect. As soon as you log into the C-panel, there’s a thing called a redirect. I log into my control panel, and I create a redirect. You can find it on the right-hand side of C-panel.

So, let’s say I’m promoting a health ebook. What I’ll do is I’ll put in mydomain.com – so I place a redirect to mydomain.com/healthebook. It’s that simple. So people just see that link, which looks like it’s a page within my site. Visitors have no idea that it’s actually a link to another site through my redirect. This is a sure way to get cookied and get credit for your recommendation.

However, sometimes when I put in those long affiliate links assigned to me, those affiliate links just don’t take inside C-panel. The set of numbers just don’t get picked up. And when I try the link, it just doesn’t go anywhere. How do I get around that? Well, what I do is I just go to www.tinyurl.com. Then I put the link in there – the one that I just had a little bit of trouble with inside C-panel. Well, I put my link in there and then I have it generate a new link. So, it turns that link into a new link. So, now the link will look something like tinyurl12345. Now, I take that link, go add it into C-panel, and now I’ve got my redirect! It’s a pretty neat trick. My link will now appear as mydomain.com/healthebook. Basically, this allows my visitors to go to that exact location when I send them an email.

If you’re not using redirects I highly recommend it especially if you want to continue to build your online empire!

Matt Bacak

Did Your Last Affiliate Check Suck?

I hope you're having a profitable day today.

Listen: the "industry standard" for affiliate commission
payouts is 30% to 50%. If you check out Clickbank.com,
you'll notice some merchants are paying 75% commissions if

But what's unheard of is getting 100%..200%...even a

I know it sounds like marketing hype.

She's fine now - just stitches

How to Structure a JV Deal

The way to structure a joint venture (JV) deal is fairly simple. First of all, if it’s just a JV opportunity like you’re holding a tele-seminar together and agree to split the profits, then really what you want to do is have one person handle the money and then divvy it out through an account that you both have access to. That’s probably the way that I would do it. However in the planning stages get something in writing. You could have verbal emails going back and forth, just stating how everything’s going to work, so that just in case your joint venture doesn’t work out (not saying that it won’t), but you need to protect yourself and have proof of your agreement in writing.

Basically, if I’m planning on having a long-term business relationship with my JV partner I create a corporation with that individual. It may sound extreme but it’s not. This is what I do when I plan on making several deals with this person over a fairly long period of time.

What I do is we open a corporate bank account together. All the money from the merchant account goes into that bank account and then it gets divvied up from there. This is a good this to do because we have the corporation stating who owns what, so that way we make sure that everything’s getting taken care of properly and equally.

Now if you were going to do it what happens is whenever anybody purchases from you, your merchant account will send an email to both you and your JV partner at the same time to let you know that you’ve both got orders. Merchant accounts are excellent at tracking this type of information which makes it fairly simple when doing partnerships like these. However, it also can be taken care of at the shopping cart level. If you share access to a shopping cart, this can also track orders and notify you both of sales. So that’s another option as well.

But one major point I want to make very clear is to make sure that one thing you do when you are splitting the money is that you are taking out the merchant account fees. It will cost you about 3% on the way in for each transaction and 3% on the way out. So, if you have any refunds or anything like that, you want to make sure you take out that money on the way in and the same goes for the money on the way out. It’s really important for you to do that.

Either way, having a system to track orders is the best way to ensure a smooth business partnership where you can easily track what’s going on. This is the best way to keep a tab on your business.

Matt Bacak

Articles for Your Products – Are You Giving Away Too Much?

Alright... so you have created an e-book but want to promote your book by providing some valuable information to your reader but still don’t want to give away good information for free.
So, the question I am commonly asked is:

“How do I write an article without giving away too much information that I could later put in a money-making product? Is there an art to doing this?”

My answer has always been no. This is more of a scarcity question. Actually, you put it in your article. What you want to do is you want to think of the word abundance, because what’s going to happen is the more you give, the more you’re going to get back. So don’t be afraid of giving away too much information in your articles. Although it may feel like you’re giving away your hard research information for free you need to realize that you are not.

Basically, if somebody reads your article and says, “Wow, this is absolutely something that I personally would never have found elsewhere! I can’t believe they’re giving away so much information in an article – and for free!” Then when they actually do consider purchasing your product, they’re going to feel like, “I wonder what I’d get if I buy something from them?” So you want to create that feeling of abundance in terms of the information you are offering them. They will feel that you are very knowledgeable but not only that, they’ll feel you are generous. This perception of you will help them gain your trust and they’ll want to buy from you even more.

So, if you are considering writing some articles. Make it good! Offer solid information that you offer in your book. Don’t hold back. The more you give to your readers, the more they’ll feel the urge to buy from you and only you – rather than from your competitor.

Matt Bacak

Use DIGG and Social Networking to Grow Your Business

Social networking has become a huge phenomenon this past year. Although it’s been around much longer, the BUZZ is crazy for social networking. If you’re not exactly clear on what social networking is it’s basically about building online friendships or networks that you grow to make you an authority in your niche or whatever it is that you are interested in. Basically you are referenced and talked about online which helps grow your popularity.

You can use social networks to your advantage, for example to build up a big, huge friend base and be able to communicate with your friends, with your customers and with people from all across the globe. You share information you are passionate about with them. You know, don’t pitch, pitch, pitch, pitch, pitch, but let them know about what products you have to offer the public in a very subtle way.

There are tons of social networking sites. But one of my favourites is digg.com. According to Wikipedia.org “Digg is a website made for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the Internet, by submitting links and stories, and voting and commenting on submitted links and stories, in a social and democratic spirit. Voting stories up and down is the site's cornerstone function, respectively called digging and burying. Many stories get submitted every day, but only the most digged ones appear on the front page.

Digg's popularity has prompted the creation of other social networking sites with a story submission and voting system.”

But using Digg to promote your stuff is another great way to get noticed. For example, if you’ve ever sent out a press release, whenever you send out a press release, what you want to do is you want to Digg that press release. Now, I’m not Digging all my press releases – we’re submitting two press releases a day. But here’s the biggest and most important thing. When it comes to using Digg, don’t ALWAYS Digg your own stuff. It’s very, very important not to do that. Out of all of the things that you “Digg” like a story, or you submit a story or “Digg a story”, make sure that out of every thousand, you only want 8% of them to be about you. So you find something good in your community or in your niche and then Digg those. And then what you want to do is then throw in your own things or shall I say your own personal recommendations for your own products. But as I said, don’t always digg yourself because what’s going to happen, the Digg network’s going to be saying, “Oh, all they’re doing is self-promoting and they’re not really a good resource.” This will cause your ratings to go down and you won’t see any traffic to your website.

But on the other hand if you digg great information and become the “go to person” in your niche who is knowledgeable and shares information about things in the area of interest to you even if it’s not self promotion, people will “DIGG” you and share you with others. This will increase your popularity in the Digg network but it will also lead to tons of traffic for your website.

So, if you’re not digging yet, go right now to digg.com and start showing the world what it is you have to offer them. You’ll be glad you did!

Google Alerts Plus Blogging Equals Traffic

Now if you’ve ever wanted to see what people were saying about you online as well as see who is linking to you all you have to do is subscribe to Google Alerts. You can subscribe at http://www.google.com/alerts . Basically, what you can do is whatever niche you are in you can type in the word that you’re monitoring online to see what is new. In my case I may use the word “internet marketing”. And if you are established in the industry of online marketing all you have to do is place your name in the box to allow Google Alerts to update you whenever your name is mentioned online. This is what I do.

In order to find out who is talking about me on their websites and blogs I have set up Google Alerts to alert me whenever my name is posted. I simply type in my name in the “search terms” box and then enter my email address. After I do this, Google Alerts will notify me through email anytime my name is mentioned online.

I mean, I could see everything that’s happening and that gets picked by the search engines when it comes in. So this alert comes in and I see it. I can see whenever somebody is blog posting about me. Actually, after we did the event in Singapore, everybody was blogging about it. It was so amazing. I saw so many mentions of my name on Singaporean blogs! But it’s not only flattery that boosts your ego when you see how many people are blogging about you, but it can also boost your traffic. How you ask? Well, what I do is I go to these blogs where someone has posted something about me and I go to comment on a post. The funny thing is is that a lot of times people are surprised because they never expected me to post to their blog.

There are two reasons I do this... Basically, one reason is to acknowledge that I noticed it and to let them know that, hey, I see everything that you’re doing. But I also do this in order to get a link on their blog to point it back to my page. This is an excellent traffic booster!

And so I was doing that, I started noticing that this really works very well in getting traffic coming from other people’s blogs to my pages, particularly my squeeze pages.

So, if you want to get more traffic but also want to be ahead of the game and know everything that’s going on in your niche, use Google Alerts to keep you up-to-date and to help you grow your business.

Limiting, Limited Time Offers

Some people have asked me how they could get their website to display a one-time offer which, if someone were to return to the page would no longer be valid. So, basically if a person visits the special offer page and does not buy the first time and tries to return to the page later the offer will not appear again .

If you wanted to do this it would require some sort of script that would track the ip address of the user or something to that effect. The only place I can think of to get this would be a company called HotScripts. They may or may not have this particular script, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.

I personally, do not use scripts. What I do instead is say something like “this offer will only be available for a limited time, so hurry on over and pick up yours today”. I won’t say if you don’t order it now, you will never be able to get it. I just try to use words to create that sense of urgency that will hopefully cause people to act fast.

Usually I use my one-time offer to up-sell, where they’ll be able to get something else while they’re ordering, but I don’t have the offer go away because in reality, the majority of the time, if somebody comes in once and doesn’t buy, the likelihood of them coming back is not going to be as high. If they do return, then I just let them get it. I don’t have any problem with that.

A lot of times, especially if you are trying to sell a high value item, you also have to give the reader a chance to think it through to see if what you are offering is actually something that they need. High pressure sells does not work because it increases the amount of returns when customers realize after ordering that maybe it isn’t something they want. This creates more work for you.

Always try to be as open and as upfront as possible with your customers and this will build their confidence in you as well as your credibility in the industry.

$4292.82 monthly cash cow yours for the taking...

Let me ask you a question.

How many times have you seen a big marketing rockstar actually
expose some niches that he promotes? Not very many I bet.

Well either Eric Rockefeller has lost his mind, or he's just feeling
really charitable because that's exactly what he's doing...

He's giving away one of his Clickbank Cash Cows along with
a complete system to follow...He's made $4292.82 in the
past month alone from a simple review page in this niche.

(and he's giving it to you) You have to take a look at this:

Not only that...but he's exposing what he feels is a major
conspiracy that directly affects you and your Clickbank Checks.

But the real question is who "they" are?

Are you just starting your business? - If so read...

If you are just starting your business then
you need to read every word of this email...

Are you one of the millions of people who
are just dying to start your own business but
you just can’t seem to get out of the gate?

You’re not alone.

Everyone wants to make more money or build
a business they can leave to their kids.

Or maybe you just want to be your own
boss (most people HATE their boss :o).

Well here’s one fact that you should know
before you dive into any business...

The majority of businesses fail because the person
running the business has no clue what they’re doing.

They mistakenly think starting a business
is easy and anyone can do it.

That’s a total lie. Starting and building a business
is hard and if you don’t know what you’re doing your
chances of failure are high.

That’s why I’m so excited that my friend and small business
expert, Tim Knox, emailed me this morning to let me know
that DVDs from his "Ultimate Small Business Bootcamp" are
now available.

And what’s really exciting is Tim has agreed to slash
a whopping 50% OFF the price for my subscribers.

Tim has reserved 25 copies for my subscribers, so if you’re
ready to start your own business or grow the one you have you
must check this out now before the 25 copies are gone.

Setting Up and Opt-in Box on Your Blog

If you are not familiar with what an opt-in box is, you should be. So, go over to www.mattbacak.com and look on the right hand side just below the fold (which I think is a perfect place to position this) and you will see I have an opt-in box for people to sign up to my newsletter. After they sign up, I now have one more person on my list to sell things to in the future.

Now, you have set up a blog and you want to be able to capture people's names and email addresses in the same way, however the blogging platform you are using doesn't give you this option. So the question is, how do you go about adding an opt-in box to your blog site.

Well, the first thing you have to do is get the form. So, find an opt-in form you like either from your other website, squeeze page or somebody else's site and copy it by looking at and locating the source code for the page it's on. Place the code into a text file for now so you can refer back to it.

The next thing you want to do is go into your blog and try to add the new code into your blog template. So, find the code for your template and copy it into an html editor such as FrontPage. Once you've done that, copy and paste the opt-in form code into the template and view your changes by previewing them.

When you have the form looking the way you want it, copy and paste the code back into you blog template on your blog site. Click on the "view blog" link to make sure everything looks proper and correct. If it looks good then you're finished otherwise you'll have to go back in and change the location of your code until it looks right.

As you already are aware, opt-in boxes are necessary in order to capture the names and contact information of your prospects. You want to be able to sell to them again and again so you need to gain access to their contact information. Opt-in forms also known as squeeze pages can make you a bundle of cash. As long as you have and own your own list, you now have a business that you can grow because you have people who are interested in what it is you have to offer.

Take the time to create an opt-in box on your blog to start gaining ownership of your business.

Matt Bacak

How do you get people’s complete address info so that you can send them postcards, newsletters, etc.?

Now this is a very good question because a lot of people don’t feel comfortable giving you all their personal information. So, how can you do this in the shortest time possible without having to sell them something first? Easy!!...You bribe them.

As long as you have something of value to offer, you have a potential bargaining tool to use to get information. You can say something like “I’ll tell you what, if you fill in your information in the form below, I will send you a link to where you can get more information on this”. Now this is just an example, but I’m sure you get my point. People always love getting something good for free....well almost free....and the fact that they’ve maybe familiarized themselves with you and your site builds even more trust.

Another thing I do is bribe them with an audio download or something they can download instantly. The easier you make it for them to receive their gift, the more likely they will be to give you their information.

I may also put in a little disclaimer at the bottom telling them that their information is safe and will not be sold or retransmitted in any form for any other purposes. This is always a good idea because people are sick and tired of receiving unsolicited spam emails and this will just build more confidence and credibility on your behalf.

Another thing you can do is just tell them the truth of why you are requesting this information. If they know it is to send them a newsletter with valuable tips inside or coupons for products or promotions in the future, then this too can be a tremendous bargaining tool!!

So don’t be afraid to ask because of some preconceived notion you have about invading people’s privacy. Don’t forget, you are giving them something for it. When you can offer something in return it makes getting what you need a whole lot easier. The more good stuff you have to offer, the better are your chances for success.

Matt Bacak

Blog for Rankings

When you create a blog it's a great way to express yourself and at the same time inform your audience what's going on. But it's also a great way to improve your rankings in the search engines. Let me explain.

If you want to get to the top because you're seeing your competition dominate you in your niche, it's time to take action!

So, let's just say you've submitted an article to an article directory site like ezinearticles.com but you were seeing someone else in your niche dominate you in the search engines. Well, it's time for you to knock them out of that top position and take over. How do you do this? It's simple!

If you want your article to appear at the top of the search engines all you have to do is blog that link! Basically, every article that you post to an article directory site like EzineArticles.com (which gets huge traffic I might add), you simply place a link to that article on your blog. For example, if it was www.Ezinearticles.com/adoption/how_to_adopt_a_child, because that's your niche, if that was your actual article, then you should go and blog that link. Whatever that link is where your article is located you blog the link. But just make sure when you do that you sound very natural in your recommendation for your visitors to visit that link. Whatever you do don't sound salesy or desperate to get the traffic.

Say something like: "Hey, check out these pages. I was doing a search on Google and I found these sites where people had posted information about me. I'm so flattered. You should go check them out." Basically what I did that for is not for people to go check them out – I really didn't care about that. What I did that for is so my sites would be pulled up higher in the search engines. So, when I did a search, I would be at the top of the search engines in my niche and my competition would fall in their rankings. This is an excellent strategy that has always worked for me. If you check out my blog at MattBacak.com you'll see several places where I've used this strategy... and it works like a charm!

So, go and find all the links out there that are indexed with Google. For any of your competition that has started to creep in on your space use this strategy to pull you up higher in the search engines. Your competition will have no idea what hit them ;)

Matt Bacak

How to Dominate Your Niche – Part 2

Now I hope you have already set up a blog and submitted your articles to your new blog site, your website and to article sites. If you follow these steps first you're off to a great start.

With those things completed I know you can get to the top with your keywords simply by doing the following:

Start a Squidoo Lense. Simply go to and basically take some of your articles and go and create a quick – what's called a lens. Create some quick lenses. Make sure that whatever keywords that you want to dominate for... use those keywords inside your lens.

It'll be really important when you're creating your lens to also give it a name that is typically used in your website URL. So like, for example, mine is "make money on the internet" or something like that. So my squidoo lens read as "squidoo.com/make_money_on_the_internet". So whatever I named it actually became part of my squidoo lens URL. Basically, whatever keyword you want to it to appear for, make that be your URL. Basically create a couple of those lenses for those domains.

The next thing I want you to do is I want you to go to MySpace. I want you to create a MySpace account and set up another blog. Now, take that same article and post it there. The reason for that is because your MySpace account is going to start taking over in that position to help you dominate your niche.

Now if you are launching a book and you've told your list or even if you haven't this is a good strategy to use... Let's say you've got your pre-release. Have your publisher go to
AmazonConnect.com and see if you can get your pre-release book out there. Now, once you've been on Amazon (once you have joined AmazonConnect), then you can have a blog on Amazon! This is really cool because now you can create your own Amazon blog. Talk about credibility!

Then I want you to take your same article that you used in your previous blogs and article sites and I want you to post it on Amazon. This is going to get you to start taking over those search positions in your niche.

In any event, simply find places that are highly reputable and start putting your information on them so that you can pull yourself up and start dominating your niche! I'm sure if you follow part one and part two of my articles on dominating your niche, you'll see how easy it is to quickly move to the top with just a bit of extra effort. It's well worth it!

Matt Bacak

How to Dominate Your Niche – Part 1

Have you ever searched for a high demand keyword in your niche in Google or any of the major search engines and realized that your competitor was ahead of you for that specific keyword? Yup, their search position was ahead of you so that means more people or going to their site instead of yours. Well, today is your lucky day because I have the formula that will take you to a higher position and move you further ahead. Now your page rank will be better than theirs! Sound impossible? Well it’s not. If you follow my fool-proof process, you’re sure to rise above your competition for the keyword in question.

The first thing you need to do is set up a Blog. Just go to Blogger.com and set up an account for that specific website niche you’re trying to dominate. The reason for this is that you want to come up as the first person to have written about a specific topic in your niche. This allows you to claim your content and will show everyone (even the haters) that you are the authority and came up with the content first since Blogger date stamps your posts. This will hinder any copycatters from stealing your information. However, by posting to your blog your content is also picked up faster by the search engines. This will help you get more traffic.

Next you need to take that same article you posted to your blog and post it to your website also known as your branding site. This ensures your content is on your site first before anyone else – even before they are picked up by articles sites. Since you have not submitted your article to be used again and again on article sites yet, nobody can steal your content since it’s branded on your site.

Next, you need to write articles. Articles are a great way to garner more traffic especially if you submit your article to big article sites like EzineArticles.com. Google loves this site because it gets a ton of traffic and provides good content. And if your article is posted on a high page ranking site like this google will boost your article to the top of the search engines!

These are the first steps you need to take to begin dominating your niche. In part two of this article, I’m going to give you more ways to help you take over top positions in your niche. So for now, implement the above tips and start your dominiche process now.

I'm Guilty, I do Forced Continuity

About my Matt Bacak Retires $1 deal.

I have been watching this unfold.

It's a great strategy from my point of view and
let me share with you how we do it in my office.

We force people on to my newsletter, then force them off.

Let's go through the process.

First, 14,987 people went to the site and
bought my 5,500 seminar for only $1. By the
way I personally matched and handed that
$1 matched to habitat, here's proof:

http://www.mattbacakretires.com

I call it the "Moving the Free line on Steriods"

Describe the freeline here: The idea is that there is
a line, a point on your sales funnel where you distribute
free value, and below the line comes all the paid-for
products, moving from front to back-end.

Hence a seminar that people paid me $5,500
dollars for for just $1 donation to Habitat.

Here is the sales letter for you to check it out for
yourself and read Ray's Edwards incredible copy.

www.promotingtips.com/retiressite.pdf

If you notice it is stated on page 7 for
those who do read the sales letter and on
the order form for people that don't read
the sales letter and just order.

Comment: Scroll to page 7 and scroll to order form.

After you ordered, you land on the first upsell.

I think it's un-American not to upsell.

(Maybe, I'm just a capitalist.)

That landing page does state that you are
getting the 'Internet Marketing Dirt'.

At that moment. whoever ordered got
an email, that told them that they are
subscribed to the newsletter and then
they went to a OTO.

OTO is a one time offer.

Creating a Blog Video

Producing your own blog videos is a great way to gain interest for what it is you are offering – whether it be a service or a product. Blog videos are contagious! They can be watched by one person and that person passes it on to several other people they think may be interested. It can also be posted on one site and viewed by thousands that landed on your particular website. Talk about viral marketing!

So, how do I achieve my success with my video blogs? It's pretty simple. It just takes proper planning and solid implementation.

The latest blogger buzz is blogging from YouTube. Basically if you're a video blogger, you can upload your videos directly to Blogger.com blog platform. You can easily post your YouTube videos to your blog because Blogger makes it fairly easy for the non-techie.

Anyways, all you need to do to set up your YouTube account to post videos to your blog using the share button. Usually you'll enter your blog information once, and then once you click "share" from any YouTube video page, it will be available to the masses.

Let me explain even exactly how I do this. First of all, you can use Blogspot (Blogger.com), which is a free hosting service. You simply go inside your Blogger settings where it says "Publishing." However, I choose to publish via FTP. You can actually do the same by creating a custom domain so that you can point your own registered domain to your blog. That's exactly what I do.

So, it'll ask you, what is the FTP server? So let me give you an example. You can't do this because you're not going to know my username and password, but my example is this...

My FTP server is ftp.MattBacak.com, so you want to do ftp.yourdomain.com. And then it says, "What is your blog URL?" Well, since my blog URL is actually my actual URL, I just typed in my URL, so it was http://www.mydomain.com. And the next thing it says "FTP pass." Well, FTP pass is actually – is a forward slash, that's all I put there. It says "Blog index file." The file name is index.html. The reason is because if the file already exists on your server it'll be overwritten. So I am having my main page, that page is specially designed for my blog so I want it to always be the index page. Now it says, "Feed file name" and then they'll put the file name there. After that it says, "FTP information" – that's where I put my username and my password and then I pushed that and that's all I did. Now my video blog is up and running and I can continue to submit more videos as I create them.

Set up your blog account at blogger or publish via FTP. Whichever you choose, as long as you make your videos and publish them, your videos will become a viral machine and you'll start to see further growth in your online business.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Meet My Mom Wednesday Night...

Every time someone meets mymother, they always ask herhow exactly did she raise me.

They want to know:

What she did differently to raise me.

Many people don't realize thatmy brother is very wealthy too.

So I asked her to get on thephone and do a special telecallfor all the parents called:

"Raising a Millionaire"

I'll let you in on all the details tomorrow.

FYI: We grew up lower middleclass. There really hasn't beenany millionaires in the familysince the 1700's - I think.

Teleseminars: Communicate with Your Visitors

Holding a teleseminar takes patience, planning and true professionalism. If you are holding a teleseminar always remember to communicate thoroughly with your audience. What I mean by “thoroughly” is don’t only send them email message reminders, but also give them a call. As long as your opt-in form has an area where they can enter their first name, email address and phone number, you’re good to go! By giving your visitors and prospects a call you are personalizing your contact with them. You’re making them feel special and they are respecting you not only as an authority but also as a very professional and trustworthy individual that in the end they’ll feel comfortable giving you their credit card information to “make the sale”!

So, if you’ve read any of my past articles on teleseminars, you know I strongly recommend voice mail blasts. That’s right. Calling your prospect and confirming the teleseminar details is a sure way to increase your call-in numbers. What you do with voice blasts is you’ll call your opt-in visitor an hour in advance, then a half an hour before the call and then send them a quick email fifteen minutes before the call giving them the call-in details. You will reconfirm the details you’ve already messaged them in your voice mail blast. Your email should sound something like this:

“Hi, here’s the phone numbers again and I just wanted to let you know, I’m on the other line waiting for you. Now that you have the phone in your hand, it’s going to be pretty easy for you to dial in.” Something to that.

They’ll think that you’re organized and professional and they will value your reminder messages to them. Remember, your JV speaker on the call is most likely going to sell something to your audience. But make sure you sell at the end of the call.

What I usually do at the end of the call with my JV partner is I will give the speaker the URL to drive everybody to. I do this so that they can go through and order from the location that I want them to – that’s the location associated with this particular JV’s teleseminar. I also may set up a voice mail that’s specifically designed for them, for – basically, what that offer says online when the people go to it. I’ll also have a voice mail that says that same exact thing to get people to go there, too. I’ll ensure that everything is set up so that all the money comes to me first. This ensures I keep track of the sales being made. I get access to the money because this is my teleseminar and my list.

After we do that, then the last thing is, I pay my JV partner 30 days out. It’s a 50/50 split on all the deals that I do. I suggest you do the same because you need to make this a win-win for both you and your JV partner. Afterall, all they had to do was talk for an hour and make thousands of dollars in return. It’s a pretty sweet deal. You too can make deals like this if you only set them up and just make it happen!

Matt Bacak

Teleseminars: How to Increase Your Conversion with Voice Mail Blasts

Running teleseminars is an excellent way to earn crediblility in your niche and increase your bottom line. But it doesn’t happen overnight. You have to set up your sequence of how you’ll stay in touch with your prospects and visitors. The only way to do this is by using the right tools to personalize your messages and increase your contacts. So, how do you do this? It’s a fairly simple task. Let me explain...

So, once your visitor signs up for your teleseminar through your opt-in page (that includes their first name, last name and email address and phone number), you need to send them an email reminder of when the call actually is going to happen. If the JV partner on your call is somebody who’s going to be really selling a lot and I know it, I’ll send out a lot more reminders. However, on average, you should typically send at least two.

So with their contact information you’re now able to get in touch with them because when it comes close to the call you’ll typically be sending out two voice mail blasts to the individuals that sign up for your teleseminar. You have to realise that the only way that I can do that is if I capture their phone number. So don’t forget to include an area for them to enter their phone number in the opt-in form. You’ll have to ensure that the phone number box is fixed as a mandatory box that needs to be filled in by your visitor.

Calling your prospects is extremely important because you want them to remember the call is happening. But this also personalizes your interaction with them which makes you more real to them so taht they gain your trust.

So typically I send out a voice mail blast exactly one hour before the call and then again at a half hour before the scheduled teleseminar. So, if the call’s at 9:00, I’ll send out a voice blast at 8:00 and 8:30. I’ll also send an email out before the call as a reminder at 8:45.

My voice blast would say something like this:

“Hey, just wanted to let you know that I’m doing a call at 9:00. I wanted to make sure that you are able to access the call so here’s the number and PIN code. Don’t worry if you don’t have a pen and pad of paper ready. Please check your email because in a few minutes I’m going to be sending you an email with all that information. I can’t wait to talk to you, see you on the call.” So that’s kind of what I’ll say.”

In any event, if you want to hold a teleseminar use these strategies. You’ll be sure to increase your conversions and you’ll be sure to make a good number of sales. As long as you plan what you will do I’m certain you’ll get a great response from your teleseminar attendees. They’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

The Best Days to Hold Teleseminars

Deciding on a day for your teleseminar can be a challenge if you’ve never held a teleseminar. But if you have held teleseminars the only way to know which days are best is to test. If you haven’t done that already, today is your day because I’ve done the testing for you.

Having run hundreds of teleseminars over the years I am well versed in what days work and which days don’t. So, what day of the week do you want to do your call? If you’re not sure let me help you pick a days that will produce great results.

Let’s look at Mondays! Mondays are typically very good at doing training calls. Mondays work best when you’re not selling anything. It’s strictly training. That’s why there’s a lot of training calls happening right at this moment, because training calls are really good on Monday nights. It’s not a really good sales night. Everybody’s kind of getting the flow of things and everything else, and it’s one of those days that’s not the best selling day.

Tuesdays on the other hand are great selling days. You’ll probably want to write that down.

Tuesdays are great selling days to do teleseminars!

Wednesdays are really good selling days also. However, there are some outside influences that can cause a lower turnout for Wednesdays. The big thing, especially here in the South, is church.

Thursdays are a great day to make things happen. That’s why a lot of people out there are doing telecalls on Thursday nights. That’s why I do them on Thursday nights.

Friday...I haven’t found Friday nights to be very good. I’ve never actually done one, but I don’t think they would be a very good turnout. Fridays are actually kind of really bad past 11:00 or 12:00 because everybody’s kind of leaving work or taking the day off. They are tired and the last thing they want to do is listed to a call. Fridays are usually relaxation days.

Saturdays are great days to do telecalls. I’ve found Saturday mornings are really good! Plus in the mornings you pick up all the people that never could get on the call during the week. Saturday nights, I haven’t really tested.

Sundays – I’ve never tested a Sunday. I choose not to do those on Sundays.

Once you’ve decided on what date it is, you should send two emails. So if I’m doing a Thursday call, I’ll send an email out on Tuesday and Thursday, driving them to the squeeze page. So I’ll have all these people coming in to my main squeeze page - the one for my niche.

Once you have them funnelled in there you should then send out a specific email to that list saying: “Hey, I’m doing a telecall, go here to sign up for the call.” They’ll go to the page, they’ll fill in their information and voila – you’ve captured their name and they’re ready for the call. But just remember that you need to include an email to the autoresponder sequence. Inside the email you need to give them the phone number and the PIN code for the call, so they automatically get it when they sign up.

Choose your date carefully and funnel in your visitors. As long as you take the time to prepare and organize how you capture the names of your visitors and choose a winning day, there should be no reason why your teleseminar should be unsuccessful. Proper planning leads to great results!

After Following the 3 Step Teleseminar Process... Create Your CPanel Redirect & Plan Your Process

If you’ve read my last article on my three step teleseminar process you’ll have a good idea of how to prepare for your next teleseminar. After you have your JV partners lined up for your call and are working on increasing your list through your web form, the next thing that you need to do is create a redirect in your cpanel.

What I do is I’ll typically go into my control panel and I’ll create what’s called a redirect. A redirect is a link that when clicked on leads to another link url. So what this means is instead of me saying “Hey guys, just wanted you to know, go to www.mclss.com/cgi-bin/1239/245/” or some other crazy link I’ll create a new link inside the C-panel which is a redirect. I’ll create something like www.promotingtips.com/formula. That’s exactly how I do it. It’s actually a redirect to my order link. And so what happens is I’m forwarding that link to the actual order link. So when I’m on the call, I’ll say, “Hey, guys, where I want you to go right now is promotingtips.com/formula. That’s promotingtips.com/formula.” This is a great strategy especially if you are working with a long ugly url address. It allows you to say a clean and easy to understand web address while you’re on a teleseminar call. Your visitors will be able to follow what you are saying much easier than if you gave them a difficult url to write down.

By doing this you not only make it easy for them to comprehend but you make it as easy as possible so that you can make the sale!

You may be wondering why I create my redirect in my shopping cart. Well, the reason is so that it goes through my merchant account.

Once you have your shopping cart and redirects set up, you’ll want to concentrate on your squeeze page. I’m not too keen on sending out an email, saying, “Here’s the phone number to get on the call, here’s all that stuff...” Why? Well, you want to be able to capture your visitors name and email address. Basically, you want to make sure you capture people’s information so you can put them in a new autoresponder. So what I’ll do is I’ll go inside Autoresponse Plus (that’s the software I use to create my squeeze pages) and I’ll create a new autoresponder.

But here’s a great trick I know you’ll love! When you are creating an autoresponder email address use dates. Put the date and the year of each particular teleseminar. I use this method and it works really well for me. I decided not only to put the date but also the year because it’s really important for me to know what year that call happened. I need to know this because I’ve done calls three and four years ago.

If you’ll be doing teleseminar calls for years to come, then you should definitely ensure you have the year written in the email address as well for example tele110808@mydomain.com . That would be the email address or the autoresponder name. So basically, once you have that done, you need to create a squeeze page that is associated with that autoresponder. So, you need to connect the form of the autoresponder on the squeeze page and create a specific squeeze page so that you can capture people’s information.

You’ll want to create a place where people can go to sign up. You can do this by capturing their first name, their email address, and their phone number. As long as you clearly state what they are signing up for ensuring you mention the benefits they will gain by listening to the call, you’re sure to get a ton of sign ups. So, if you’re going to hold a teleseminar, as long as you have your squeeze page set up leading to a new autoresponder for each teleseminar - this will allow you to be able to know exactly where your visitors are going. As long as you plan and implement your process, your call is sure to be a success!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Divide Your Teleseminar into 3 Parts for Ultimate Success!

As any web site owner knows, and if you’ve read any of my articles you know that I am a big fan of teleseminars. But what many web site owners fail to realise is that there is a science to holding your teleseminars – a 3 step process. Let me explain...

What I usually do is divide the teleseminar up into three major parts. Now, the first part we have is before the call, the second major part we have is during the call, and the third major part we have is after the call. These are three key important parts.

Now, the first part is really focused on getting ears to phones. Your personal job is to get as many ears to phones as you can possibly get.

For the second part you’re going to want somebody to get on the call, such as a JV partner or someone like that to do some or all of the talking for you. You want to make sure that they have the ability to sell and to make you a lot of money, or you have the ability to sell. It’s really important to make that happen.

The next thing you want to do is make sure your merchant account is set up. I use PowerPay. I run everything through PowerPay. And so what I will do is – if there’s something happening in the background, let’s say I’ve got somebody else that’s speaking on my call. I’ll say, “Hey, let me know what your offer is? Do you have your offer online?” They will say yes or no. If they say, “Well, I’ve only done this offline at seminars,” then I’ll say to them, “Okay, well, tell you what, are you going to offer the same package that you offered at those events?” They’ll say, “Yeah.” I’ll say, “Can you email me over your order form, the exact order form that you would give people when you’re selling it from stage?” And they’ll say, “Okay,” and they’ll send it over. Basically, the reason I ask for that is because that order form is what I create and I set up inside my shopping cart. I want to make sure my merchant account is set up with my shopping cart.
But inside my shopping cart, I want to create an order form.

With the order form you can use what’s called a top html. And that top html is going to be saying the same exact thing as that file would that you would be handing out - the order form. So it’ll have, like – a lot of times people will say, “Yes, I’m ready to discover XYZ and save this much money with the following bonuses.” And then it’ll say Bonus #1, Bonus #2, Bonus #3, Bonus #4 or 5, whatever it is, and then a guarantee a lot of times. So you can have a special link, and this will be a link that the shopping cart will create for you, which when people go to it, will actually go to an order form where they can fill in their personal information like their first name, their last name, their email address, their phone number, and their credit cards information.

These are the first three things you must do when setting up your teleseminar. It’s a great process that has worked very well for me and returned huge results. I’m sure if you follow this three step process you too will see great results!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Teleseminars – What to Do First

A great way to keep your website visitors loyal is to offer them good information. Having expert interviews from those who are known in a niche is a great way to keep people coming back to your website. You could offer written interviews for your visitors to read on your website, but the best way is by offering teleseminars. What is a teleseminar? It’s a phone interview or seminar. Your visitors call a special number with a special call-in code assigned to that number and they get to listen to people talk about a particular topic.

Teleseminars are amazing tools to use in your business as it keeps your visitors engaged, allows you to look like the go-to person in your niche because you’re offering great information; but it can also make you a nice income if you choose to sell your teleseminar as an audio file or by having your visitors pay to hear the call simply because the information is not readily accessible elsewhere.

So, how do you go about holding your own teleseminar? Well, it’s a fairly simple task.

After you have someone lined up for your teleseminar, the first thing you want to do when setting it up is arrange to have as many lines as you think you will need on the call.

If you’re going to have less than 100 people on the call, you can use freeteleconferencing.com. If it’s over 100 people, I’ll typically use Eagle Teleconferencing. Also, I know some people who recommend Instant Teleseminar which is a phone plus web simulcast. However, I’m not too keen on web simulcasts also known as webinars. I prefer to strictly use a phone conferencing company only. The reason for this is basically, if you’ve got a lot of people on the call, especially when you’re trying to sell something, you don’t want to have people fiddling around with their computers trying to get them to work. You want to make it as easy for them as possible to access the call. Not everyone is good with computers which means there’s too many points of failure. This is one of my concerns with webinars.

The way I see it is you don’t want to use anything where there’s too many points of failure because this can affect your bottom line. The only thing that can possibly go wrong with a teleconference is if the phones or the lines don’t work on either end (this is why you’ve got to make sure you reserve enough lines).

In the end if you are running a website you should definitely consider how you can add teleseminars to monetize your site more. Teleseminars can make you a lot more money and keep your existing visitors as well as your new visitors coming back for more.

Matt Bacak
