A Late Product Launch – What to Do

So, you've come out with a new product and everything is coming along nicely. You've done your research and things are moving full spped ahead but then you reach a stumbling block. Your launch date has been pushed back but you've already told your list of your original launch date. Now what?

I'll let you know what you should do if your launch date is delayed. But first I do want you to get in the habit of sending stuff out on an ongoing basis. But in relation to this situation, if you're sending out an email, tell them why there's a delay. Basically, if there's a delay and there's a reason for the delay let your subscribers know. Say something like, "Hey, look, I promised you I'd give you this but here's the problem..." Or something like... "The reason I'm not getting it out to you is because..." Make sure you use the word "because" and then just let them know why. After that you could tell them it'll come out very soon and that you'll be sure to let them know about it.

However, in the meantime, send out some good information by telling them that while they wait you've got an email coming to them tomorrow. And tell them to go and check it out." Use that as a teaser. Let them know what's going on. Tell them you're sorry, it's coming, and then start making the offer. Keeping your audience in the loop builds trust and proves to them that you are reliable and they'll feel comfortable buying from you and listening to what it is you have to say.

You could also bribe them by saying something like, "since I was late in meeting the launch date, here's a free gift for you." Let them know that you care and show some sincerity. People like compassion and honesty – especially in business.

In any event if you are late on your launch, communicate with your audience and keep them informed so that they don't feel ignored or taken advantage of. When you build anticipation and under-deliver it can hurt your business. Always over-deliver and you're visitors will bring you the bacon every time.

Remember, always mail to your list. As I always say, an email a day keeps bankruptcy away.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Free Report: "Thought Stringing"

This is the kind of thing that works so well it's almost freaky...

My good friend (let's call him Mr. X) has figured out a way to "buy the thoughts" of his customers and then use this informationto locate hidden sources of traffic.

Check it out:

http://promotingtips.com/FreeReport

This report is only 12 pages, but it covers a strategy called "Thought Stringing" that he uses to find ultra-cheap sources of traffic that literally no one else is capitalizing on.

In a kind of a bizarre way, it's almost as if he's "buying the thoughts" of his customers and then giving them exactly what they want

...when they least expect it.

I know it sounds crazy, but when you read the report you'll see how it works.

You can download it now at:

http://promotingtips.com/FreeReport

...no opt-in or anything else required.

Just free content for the taking.

Enjoy!

Matt Bacak

P.S. It may surprise you to know that Mr. X uses the Content Network in Google to pull off this technique.

I realize that most people think the content network isgarbage traffic, but as you're about to see it's actuallymore profitable and converts BETTER than the traffic thatcomes directly from the Google search pages.

Free Report: Self Liquidating Offers

A buddy of mine (let's call him Mr. X) wrote a report called "Self Liquidating Offers" and he's allowing me to share it with my subscribers.

Check it out:

http://promotingtips.com/freereport

This "SLO" strategy is the exact same method he employed to build a list of 40,583 BUYERS in only 9 months. (And did I mention he got paid $1.2 MM to build this list?)

This is an incredible example of a non-guru making big bucks selling niche stuff to niche markets. And the numbers this guy was pullingin will blow your mind:

P.S. There's also a free video on the site that provides a lot of insight regarding the "Google Slap" of 2006. It's a must-watch foranyone who does anything with PPC. Enjoy:

What You Need to Do to Systematize Your Business

When running an online business the only way to success is to have an organized system of steps that you follow in order to make your business run smoothly. There are many people who have successful online websites. But the reason they are successful is because their business is systematized. Granted there are those who fluked at their success but somewhere along the line they had a system in place and may not have even realized it.

If you already have a website but it's not creating the returns you had hoped for then make sure you have these steps in place for a smoother more profitable website.

1.Make sure you have an autoresponder in place to capture email addresses. This is critical! You need to build a list so that you can sell to them again and again. But having an autoresponder opt-in page is not enough. Go and log into your autoresponder. But make sure the autoresponder is working properly. Sign up yourself and test it to make sure your messages are going out.

2.Submit your website to free directories.

3.Monitor your Google Adwords. Test and track to see what's going on with your campaigns and analyze your results. Spend a good coffee day doing this.

4.Write Articles and ensure you have your niche keywords or the main keywords for your website sprinked throughout the content of your article

5.Submit your article to article directory sites like www.ArticleCity.com, www.EzineArticles.com or www.GoArticles.com.

6.Summarize your articles. Take those summaries of those articles and turn those summaries into emails. Start adding these informative summaries to you autoresponder sequence so that you have emails going out. I wouldn't just turn the summaries into short emails. Make sure those emails have a link that leads to a new website page with the full article. This will make it an informative website – basically off of your site. So, whatever your squeeze page is, dot com, forward slash, your site and then squeeze page article(s).

7.One thing I do is I would go look into my ListOpt. I would check to see – if the amount of people it says they sent me and the amount of people that I have in my autoresponder look pretty much the same.

8.Go in to your autoresponder list and see if there's any unsubscribers and delete them immediately.
9.Start writing your sales letter emails for your product. If you don't have your own product find affiliate products you can sell. See if your affiliates have articles and emails already pre-written that you can use to target your own list.

10.If you don't have your own product you need to create one as soon as possible. You can do this by creating a teleseminar. It doesn't matter if your list is very small (say 50 people) or very large (15,000 people). It's best if you make every mistake when you don't have that many people on your call. In any event, you can record it and sell your teleseminar as a product. You want to turn it into a product asap. You could even turn your teleseminar into a download that you can send out to your list to start building a rapport with them.

11.Look for those you want to do joint ventures with regardless of whether you have an established relationship with them or not. Place them on your potential JV list.

12.Make it happen! A great way for creating products and/or services – or to make money, is to create a day to launch. This ensures you commit and make it happen.

Follow these steps and you're sure to see great results!

Matt Bacak

Slap Google Like a RAG Doll

How do I drive free traffic to my websites
with just using 1 (ONE) measly article?

I figured that this may help alot of people
reading becuase I always notice the most
of the questions are about Articles.

In this blog post, I am going explain to you the
system that you can use almost immediately and
start implementing to your online business today!

In order to get free traffic flowing to your website, you
need to follow the nine steps in the A9 Process.

STEP ONE: Write an article.

Your article needs to be between 300 and 500 words long. Make sure you are writing good content about your business. The key is to have your viewers learn and benefit from the information you are giving.

Tips to Writing an Article: If you have an information product you want to sell, you should take your product and break it down into small pieces. These pieces will become the articles, so to speak. If you do not like writing articles, or writing at all for that matter, you have the option to outsource it.

Here are a few places you can outsource your article to:

Elance.com
GuestProfessor.com
TheRealArticleFactory.com
ThePhantomWriters.com
Content-Writer.org
ArticleAuthors.net

STEP TWO: Submit your Article

Once you have submitted your article to one article submission website, other websites will pick up your information and pass it around as well.

Here are a few things you need to do before you submit your article:

Create a summary about your article.
Always create a "Call To Action" section at the bottom of every article.

Example: "There are many strategies to making money on the internet, but nothing makes sense unless you have a big list. Email Marketing is the most profitable way to make money on the internet. When you build a list of hot and hungry prospects you control your future. Discover how to use the internet and turn your computer into a cash gushing machine. Sign-up right now for Matt Bacak's FREE online newsletter to find out how to do exactly that – Go here: http://www.promotingtips.com."
So where do you submit your article to? Well here is a list of 60 article submission sites that you can go register to and start submitting your articles this task is a little time consuming but well worth it!

STEP THREE: Rework Your Article into a Press Release and then Submit.

To rework your article into a press release, you need to visit this site: (http://www.prwebdirect.com/pressrel...s.php#format) when you go to this website, it will explain exactly what you will need to do in order to format your press release correctly. A press release needs to be more like an announcement, rather than just news being given (like an article is traditionally written). However, you want to stick with the content you have already come up with, you're just changing it to fit a different media.

Once you have completed your press release, it is now time to submit it to press release submission websites. There are two different ways you can do this:

1. The FREE way where you go out to all the free press release submission websites and post your information

OR

2. You can use www.prwebdirect.com and pay to have your press release submitted.

Both have equally good ways to submit your article, but obviously the paid is a little less work. Just like submitting your article, you will do the same steps submitting your press release. This step is highly important because press releases get passed around the internet like wild fire. There are thousands of new sites, news rooms, and trade magazines that will pick up your information and post it on their sites.

Here is a list of places you can go to and start submitting your press releases for free today:

i-newswire.com
clickpress.com
free-press-release.com
express-press-release.com

STEP FOUR: Rework Your Article into a Video.

You want to rework your article into a video. This is can get a little complicated. If you are not proficient in using the computer or do not want to learn please hire this stuff out - it will save you loads of time.

What you will need to start out with is some recording equipment maybe a microphone and a program called Sound Forge built by Sony. With this, you can record yourself reading your article. You can also hire a voice talent to do this work; typically a professional voice talent gets paid at least $100 per hour.

When you have your audio created and ready to go, it is time to start creating the video. We use Microsoft Power Point to create template slides to use in our video and we use a program call Sony Vegas Movie Studio to put the audio and template slides all together.

You want to create at least 3 to 5 slides with key bullet points in your article. If more slides are needed, then you can make more (3 to 5 should be enough). When you create your slide make sure to save them as a picture file like "jpeg" so that you can import them into Sony Vegas Movie Studio. Once you have all of these items you will need to import the media into Sony Vegas Movie Studio and start building your video.

If you would like to find the equipment to do this for yourself you can go to: http://www.InternetVideoGuy.com. This is where you can find the right equipment and the right training on how to do this task. Once you're finished editing your video you will need to create the different video files. You need to make sure to create 3 different file formats. This will help you get more visibility on sites that use different video formats (mpeg1, mpeg2, rm).

STEP FIVE: Submit video.

Now you're ready to start submitting your videos to video submission websites. To do this, you will need to submit your video to different video submission websites. Just like the article submission, and PR (Press Release) submission websites you will need to create accounts at all the different video submission websites. Then you log into the site and upload your video. This will take a little bit of time because videos take some time to upload. You will then need to create a description for your video so that the video submission sites know what content you have uploaded to them.

The results you get from video submissions are fantastic. Videos have become the staple for the internet today. The Big 3 (Google, Yahoo, MSN) are trying to turn the internet into the next television, so videos get ranked very high.

Here is a list of video sites you can start submitting to:

AtomFilms.com
Blip.tv
BoFunk.com
Eyespot.com
Flurl.com
GoFish.com
GUBA.com
LiveLeak.com
LiveVideo.com
MegaVideo.com
Motionbox.com
Revver.com
Sharkle.com
SPIKE.COM (ifilm)
Stickam.com
SUMO.tv
Twango.com
Veoh.com
Video.google.com
Video.yahoo.com
vidilife.com
vMix.com
YouTube.com

STEP SIX: Turn your audio into a Pod Cast.

Since you already have your audio file created (you used it in the video presentation), you need to pod cast it. Pod casting is one of the quickest ways to start your own radio station. With iTunes having over 200 million users, there should be no reason why you would not want to start pod casting today. When you use iTunes 4.9 or later, Apple has taken pod casting mainstream by building everything you need to find, subscribe to, manage, and listen to pod casts right in iTunes. You can publish your podcast to iTunes (as long as it's free of copyrighted material and overtly explicit content) and reach a potential audience of millions. There are video tutorials on Apple 's site to help you get through this task. To make it easier, visit this site: http://www.apple.com/itunes/tutorials/.

STEP SEVEN: Create a blog entry.

By taking the code from your video in YouTube and using the content from your article, you can create a blog entry.

Simply copy your videos code and then paste it into the code section of your blog. Next you need to copy your article and post that in the view section of your blog. Then you hit the publish button and that's it!

Blogging your content will help you create another media to pass your information. Plus the blog "pings" different blog search engines (which is just a fancy way of saying your blog automatically tells these places that it has content.). These blog search engines will post your information on their site creating more back links to your website.

STEP EIGHT: Create a Squidoo Lens.

To make a Squidoo Lens, you use your video and audio content. Squidoo is an insanely easy-to-build page online. It's popular way to drive more traffic to your website. If you want to get the word out about something, sell something, share information, or just love to create and express yourself, then you shouldn't miss out on this task.

It is super easy to do - Squidoo has a wizard that walks you through creating the lens. It's also very simple to add your video from youtube because you can search for it through Squidoo and they will create the video code for you. This is a great site to be on because it is considered an authority site on the internet and it has a page rank of 7. You can also put links back to your website on their site for free! This should be a no brainier as to why you would want to use this site to drive traffic.

STEP NINE: Bookmark Your Video Links.

The last step entails you to social bookmark your video links. This will help you boost your videos higher in the search engines. Ultimately, this will boost your main site even higher. A social bookmark site is just like using the bookmark tab in your browser. It bookmarks the sites you're interested in. Although, rather than being on your computer, a social bookmark site allows you to save them online... so you can visit these book marks from any computer.

Just like the other sites, you have to create an account (login and password). Title your link, create a description (that is where you can put your call to action) and create your custom tags (in these are the keywords your are trying to promote). Once you're finished with one site, you move on to the next and do it again.
Here is a list of social bookmark sites you can use to start posting to:

Slashdot.org

3 More Ways to Make Money Online

In my last article I mentioned 4 ways to make money online. There are several ways you can earn some income online or shall I say "an" income online.

Here are three more ways you can make money online:

1.Make sales letters and sell them – If you are an accomplished copywriter and know how to produce words that sell, then you are in high demand. There are tens of thousands of products being sold online that need the right words to market them. If you are a writer who knows the formula for a successful sales letter then you can make huge amounts of money making your words profitable. And if you are a top writer you will definitely be kept busy as there are tons of online marketers that require your services.

2.JV Teleseminars – Joint ventures are a must if you want to perform in online marketing. Regardless of what niche you are in joint ventures can extend your list and your income in no time. If you make a partnership with someone in a market complementary to yours you can offer your product to their list and this could mean a lot of dollars in your pocket. Good partnerships speak volumes not only as relationship builders but also as money makers!

3.Continuity programs – If you offer continuity programs you can make money every single month. It also allows you to have a team of people selling your product which allows you to leverage your time and your money. If you're focused on customer follow-up and establishing customer loyalty, you will definitely succeed!

Making money online is not complicated. As long as you have a plan implemented for your business than it is very feasible. A lot of people who are not familiar with internet marketing think it's an impossible task. However, most people don't put their plans into action, or they have no plans at all. You must act in order to see results. If you stick to your plan and put those plans into action you can build a good income stream online. These three ways above have been very profitable for a lot of successful people online. You too can become one of them.

Don't wait… Just take action now!

Matt Bacak

How to Segment Your List Using Autoresponders

If you have a website and are using autoresponders to capture your audiences contact information, then commend yourself as this is a huge accomplishment! Most online websites fail to see the value of an opt-in form on their website. Opt-in forms actually make a business plan work and it is a definite requirement for growing any business online.

Your list is a goldmine and you have to know what your readers want. But your main concern is to capture names and send your list information. Although your opt-in page lists bullet point benefits of what you have to offer your visitors, you can do more with your list. You can segment your list. Segmentation allows you to broaden your product selection and allows you to offer more products to help increase your sales.

So exactly how do you set up your autoresponder message sequence?

There is a seven sequence rule I follow. You should think about sending seven messages to your list. But remember, this sequence of emails is sent every few days. Send some messages every two days then five days later then back to two days later etc. You want to do this so that your subscriber never expects your message. You want to surprise them, keep them on their toes and keep them interested in what it is you are offering them. Make sure you are offering valuable content so that your reader always anxiously awaits your next email. You want them to feel that you are giving them extremely helpful information that they simply cannot find anywhere else. However, it is also crucial that the emails you send them on the third and seventh day should be sending them to a sales letter squeeze-page. Remember, on these days you are selling to them. This strategy has been very successful whenever I implement it so I suggest you also implement this strategy in your online business.

When you send these emails on the third and seventh day of your seven email sequence, the reader can then be sent to another squeeze-page and at this point they'll be entering a new autoresponder sequence that segments them even further. I use this simple strategy to segment my list and you should use it too in your list segmentation. But you should note that these are also short content email messages created to prompt your reader to click on links placed in the email. Your links will always lead to a sales page for a product or service you are offering them.

That other autoresponder sequence (the second squeeze-page sequence after they enter the first sequence) that I'm sending them to is going to be a message sent to them every single day. Basically, with these messages, I'll take pieces of the copy – maybe I'll take a paragraph out of the copy, I'll throw it into message 1. I'll take another paragraph of the copy and I'll throw it into message 2. Take another paragraph of the copy and throw it into message 3 and so on.... For example, if I have five testimonials, I might write an email that says, "Five reasons why you need to get this." Reason 1 is testimonial 1, reason 2 is testimonial 2, and so on and so forth. And then each of those emails will have a link back to the actual product so the reader can go buy the product.

List segmentation is necessary to expand and diversify your business. Why not take a look at your autoresponder sequence to make sure you're offering the most you can to your audience.

Matt Bacak

Squeeze into a Teleseminar – One of the Best Ways to Make Money!

If you have an online business, do not neglect the potential or possibility of offering a teleseminar to your list. Teleseminars are a goldmine for making big bucks online. But the magic is not only in the teleseminar itself, but in the implementation of your marketing to draw in people. You need to understand this first as well as know how to sell to your list to make it all happen.

So how do you draw in listeners? The magic is in your squeeze-page also known as an opt-in page. Once you capture your prospects names and email addresses through your squeeze page, you email this list and invite them to your teleseminar. Once people squeeze into a free teleseminar, then they land on the sales letter page. Even though you are focused on doing a teleseminar you must always remember to offer your audience something, and you do this by leading them to your sales letter page for your product.

But focusing on teleseminars as one of the ways you can monetize. The day you send your reminder emails and the date of your teleseminar is crucial. You also need to address the topic of your teleseminar. Make sure it's something your list would favour as really good information that they can't miss and can't find anywhere else. I typically send out emails, usually twice, so if I'm doing a Thursday call, I'll typically send out an email maybe on Tuesday night and then send another reminder email of the call on Thursday.

There's certain days that you want to do teleseminars. Mondays aren't really a good day to do teleseminars to make money. Tuesdays are really good days to do teleseminars to sell things. Wednesdays are really good too. Actually, you're going to have less people sign up but more people show up on Wednesday calls. Thursdays are really good days to do them. You're going to have a lot of people sign up but not as many people show up.

Just think about it. You spend one hour on a call and offer your product for sale and you can make a lot of money. I did three telecalls that did over a quarter of a million dollars in just three telecalls this year.

You can also partner up with an expert in your niche and do the call together and split the profits 50/50. I did a call with an expert and it was brilliant! My prospects signed up by adding their name and email address and then I led them to my sales page to purchase my product. This was a call that we did on Thursday. We sent out two emails. The content – I had somebody else take care of on the call. But basically, we ended up making about $65,000 on this telecall, and it wasn't me doing it. So, usually when you're doing telecalls and you have somebody else on there, you usually split it 50/50. I split it 50/50 and ended up making 32,500 bucks? Not too
bad for a one hour call.

If you're currently not using teleseminars for your business, start now. See what information you can offer your audience that they would like to hear on a call and go from there. Your options are endless and the amount of money you can make is unlimited too!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Four Things Your Sales Letter Needs to Make the Sale

If you have a strong sales letter there are many other things to can do in order to ensure that you make the sale.

Here they are:

Pop-ups - You can utilize pop-ups to make some more money. When your visitor is leaving your site you can have a pop-up window that comes up upon exiting the site that says something like, "Hey wait! Here's more..." or "But wait, I noticed you didn't buy... You can grab it for this much money." That also works. You can offer your product at a discount just to sweeten the deal. After all, it's better to get some money from your prospect rather than none at all.

Offer Financing - By offering a financing option, you give your prospect the ability to purchase your product in instalments to make it financially more viable for them. You could say something like, "I know this might've been a little bit too costly for you but what I'll do is this..." Make them feel special and give them that sense of urgency like they better buy today since you're offering this special discount just for them. They'll feel as if you are going out of your way just for them. This is a sure way to gain the trust of your prospect.

Sell on all of your pages - Sell on all your confirmation pages as well as on all of your thank-you pages that way you're always placing your offer in front of your prospect thereby increasing the possibility that they will buy from you.

Phone Your Prospect! - If we're getting somebody on the phone and we talk to them offline, well, guess what? What we'll do is we will sell them something. We'll focus on the high-ticket product first and then from there we'll move our way down to the lower ticket items. You want to start with your back-end first. Think about what your back-end is and then work your way backwards. Start with selling them the $1000 item, then the $500 item, then the $100, then the $37 item. We want to get the most first before we move down our list of cheaper offers. You want to make sure at least to get something out of them when you're on the phone.

Remember, every single sales letter has its own squeeze page and every single product has its own sales letter. You must capture as many names as possible and this allows you to market to your visitors even if they don't buy initially. The follow-up emails will eventually and hopefully produce a sale.

Be a Friend – Follow the Best to Sell Your Product

If you have a product you want to sell to your list make sure that you build a special relationship with them. You want to be as personal as possible and communicate well to your audience. Let them know that you're real. Let them know that you understand them and what it is they want. Write to them as if you are writing to your best friend -- somebody you care about. Focus on the "you". Many poorly written sales letters have too much "me-me-me-me-me" and not enough "you-you-you-you-you." You want to say "you" as many times as you can in your sales letter so that more people give you money. They want them to feel as though you can relate to them and that you are speaking directly to them. Personalization of emails and sales letters make your prospects learn to trust you and therefore, want to purchase from you time and time again.

Model Your Sales Letter After the Best!

But although building a relationship is essential to growing any profitable business, modeling your sales letter after successful sales letters is a definite must! The biggest problem I see most people do is they don't model other people's sales letters after those letters that have been proven to bring in sales. I mean, there are sales letters out there that work. I often hear people say, "I want to do it my own way!" Well, don't do it your own way; do it the way that it works! Success leaves clues, and you want to follow those clues in order to perform well.

Testimonials:

You also want to ensure your sales letters have enough testimonials. Your testimonials should say more than, "This is an absolutely amazing product. JS."

Who is JS? Nobody knows who JS is. It sounds fictional – as though you made it up. Whatever you do never use initials or general statements in your testimonials. Be specific and use full names. You might want to say Jane Smith. For example, it could be; "Jane Smith, therapist, Atlanta, Georgia." You know, be as specific as possible about those individuals in your testimonials and it'll help increase your sales.

Your Sales Letter Close:

Your close is extremely important. At the end of your sales letter make sure that you have a strong close. You need to have a direct command. You want to use scarcity and/or urgency. You want to limit the availability of the product or the service. You want to maybe have a limited-time offer.

Know your audience, meet their needs and they will continue to seek your advice and be eager and willing to purchase the products you have available to them.

Matt Bacak hands $30,124.74 to Habitat

Do You Have a Winning List?

If you have a website business you already know the importance of having a list. Your list of prospects are those that you can email again and again in order to promote your offers and make sales. But how do you know if your list is good you ask?

I’ve heard a lot of people say that they have a terrible list. But what you have to realise is that it is not your list that is bad, it’s about how you approach your list that needs some improvement.

I always ask business owners who make these statements... “Have you tracked how many people actually clicked on your links? Do you know how many people got the emails? Do you know how many sales you had? Do we know how many impressions, or do you know what your open rate is?” People often are unable to answer these questions. But they fail to realise that the answers to these questions should be the basis upon which they build their list and make sales. Basically if you had zero sales there is a problem and it’s often not with your list.

The numbers you want to look at when it comes to emails are:

What’s your impressions? - If your impressions aka open rates are low, it means that your subject line or your deliverability needs improvement. I use Autoresponse Plus for my autoresponder email messages to my prospects. If you’re using Autoresponse Plus, you can use link tracking. It’ll track all of these things for you. If you’re using something else, you’ve got to figure out how that software tracks it so you can see the results.

What’s your click-through rate (CTR)? – Once again, check your deliverability. Your email message may need improvement.

What’s your sales? – If your sales are low, that means your sales letter is weak and needs improvement.

The biggest problem I see most people have is they don’t add curiosity to the subject line of their email. If your open rate and your impressions are low, that means that people are either not getting your email or your subject line is very weak. And so what you need to do is you need to build a better subject line.

Here’s an example of one of the ones that worked really well for me. It was actually about a tax attorney that I wanted to have on a tele-call. But I said, “My attorney wants to speak to you…” Now, that got some heads turning. Remember, there’s nothing different between a subject line and a headline. Add curiosity and you’ll definitely see an improvement in your CTR.

Another thing to consider is in order to increase your email open rate is not to exceed 50 characters per line. As long as you communicate with your prospect like they are your friend and you keep your emails short and sweet and then send your readers to the sales letter page you will see an improvement in your conversions.

Follow these tips and see your sales soar!

Matt Bacak

Writing a Killer Sales Letter

If you have a product that you need to sell it is extremely important for you to consider the online world. Although selling through direct mail can be effective, you should also consider other mediums in order to gain exposure for your product. A great way to do this is by having an online sales letter! A sales letter website packed with your products keywords is a quick and easy way to draw in an audience. However, keywords and a good product are not the only things that sell. A well written sales letter seals the deal. If you’ve never written a product sales letter, no need to worry. Simply follow these simple steps...

Must Have Sales Letter Components:

1.Headline – to get your readers undivided attention

2.Sub-headline - Very important! It helps you expand or support that main headline and gives the prospect more reasons to continue reading.

3.Opening Paragraph - One thing I’ve found with my opening paragraphs is to keep them short, simple and straight to the point. A few words, perhaps two or three are good for opening up your paragraph.

4.Credibility – This allows me the right to talk about my particular product or service. Mention your expertise here. This helps in establishing your credibility and makes your visitor want to buy from you.

5.Testimonials - Basically, you want to make sure that you have testimonials to back up your credibility because then you let people see the proof that your product really is good. This backs up your credibility.

6.Bullet Points – bullets are really important. You should have five to eight bullets that are benefit-driven. Five to seven is actually much better. I’ve found that odd numbers out-pull even numbers when it comes to sales letter conversion.

7.... More Testimonials – It builds believability and credibility.

8.Free Bonuses – This helps convert your prospects into buying customers whereby increasing your sales! People LOVE free stuff. Bonuses are very powerful tools to use in your sales letter.

9.Money-Back Guarantee – A sure way to increase your sales.

10.State Your Price – By letting your customers know the price of your offer one more time, they will know exactly what they are going to get.

11.Pay Button – Explain to your prospect how they are going to pay and where they can make payment.

12.Close – Tell them what it is exactly that you want them to do. But you have to say it boldly. For example, “... grab your wallet right now and then click the link below to fill out the form and receive blah, blah...”

13.Postscript – This has been proven to be the second most important component of your sales letter behind your headline. There have been studies that show that when people read your sales letters, they read the top and scroll down to the bottom.

If you follow these steps when creating your sales letter, you’re sure to make sales.

Write Articles to be an Authority in Your Niche

If you have a website and want to have visitors who continue to come back to your website again and again, it is important to establish yourself as an authority in your niche.

When you write your articles ensure that they are informative and offering your audience useful information. But it is not only important to provide information that your reader can use. It is also important to write your articles to accommodate the requirements of the search engines. You can do this by stuffing your article with keywords of the topic you are writing about.

Here are the things you need to have in your article:

A Title

A Summary

Good Content

Keywords

Author Bio

You should definitely include your keywords in the title of your article. For your summary, you want it to be one or two sentences. Your informative content should be between 300 and 700 words as well. You want your article to be long enough so that it has enough juicy information that the reader feels satisfied with the amount of information you have given to them.

Once you’ve perfected your article and stuffed it with your keywords (as well as keyword text links), you need to submit it to a site that will give you a good amount of traffic. One of my favourite sites is www.SearchWarp.com. This site is a dream site compared to some article sites currently accepting articles. Search Warp is a great choice because they don’t have any editorial reviews so you can submit anything on their site.

Ensure that your content is 80% content and 20% sales. You don’t want to heavily try to sell to your audience but you want to subtly make your offer. As long as you are supplying your readers with content that they find interesting, informative and information they cannot easily access elsewhere than you are doing your readers a service. They appreciate and want to continue getting good information from you.

Matt Bacak

Grow Your List and Your Traffic with Article Submission

If you have a website online you know the necessity of providing useful content for your readers. But did you ever think that the content on your site could be made into articles and distributed all over the internet to bring you oodles of visitors – more than natural SEO? Well, it’s true. If you can submit at least two articles to an article site per day, you’re on target to make more money by leading more visitors to your site.

If you plan to use this strategy, just ensure that the articles you are providing are helpful to your audience. Make sure you’re offering valuable information that will help them.

Here are some article sites you can submit to:

· ezinearticles.com
· submityourarticles.com
· searchwarp.com
· ezarticles.com
· articlebin.com
· articlebeach.com
· articlehub.com
· articlegarden.com
· articlesphere.com
· media13.com
· visiblecontent.com
· articlegeek.com
· articlewise.com
· articlejoe.com
· alumbo.com
· linkgrinder.com

Posting your articles to these sites are the first step. But you’re not done yet. After you submit your articles to these sites you need to repost these articles on your own website. After I post my articles to my site I post them again on my blog, my myspace page, my squidoo lense and my other Web 2.0 social networking sites. These sites get a ton of traffic and are already ranked very well by the search engines so it’s a win-win by posting there.

After that I summarize the article and add that summary to an email to send to my list. Basically, I’m making that summary message number one of my autoresponder sequence. The full article will be accessed when my visitors click on the link I provide in the summary email. I do this over and over again with all of my articles - offering solid information to my list to ensure they continue to read my articles. But the best part of it all is that I can make money by leading them to my articles that have Google Adsense on it. That way I can make money even from my customers that don’t buy the products that I am promoting. It’s a very clever way to make money and I think everyone should be using this strategy. If you’re offering good, solid information, it’s always best to ensure you make money off of the majority of your visitors – even if they don’t buy.

So, if you’re not using articles to further monetize your site and draw in extra traffic you should start now! The interest in articles will never subside. People love knowledge and they are always looking for a way to take advantage of the information given to them. There’s no better or simpler way than providing articles to your list.

Submit some articles and begin to reap the rewards … with a little bit of work.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

4 Ways to Make Money Online

If you know anything about the internet you know that it is an excellent resource for pretty much everything. If you're looking for a recipe you can find it online. If you're looking for information on curing a cold you'll find that too. Basically, the world wide web is a wealth of information.

But if you know anything about the internet you also know that it is a place where you can make money. And some very ingenious people have made a lot of money online.

If you're looking at making a buck online here are four ways you can do it:

1. Tele-seminars – Offering tele-seminars to your list is a great way to capture names but also make a ton of money. On these calls you first should aim to gain trust with your listeners by allowing them to put a voice to a name so that they know who you are and you can then present offers to them, either by selling your own product or someone else's. Also, if you offer your listeners good, solid information they will respect what it is that you have to say and most likely want to purchase from you based on your recommendations.

2. Sell other peoples stuff – Offer your list products that you are affiliated with. You do this by extending your autoresponder sequence and making it longer by offering new products and information on an ongoing basis. This is a huge income maker! Remember to focus on products that are not a one-time product, but products that your subscribers will always need. The last thing you want is to have to re-do your autoresponder sequence because you offered a product what was no longer popular or necessary for your market as this creates more work for you and it leaves room for error on your part.

3. Sell your own products – Now this is a no brainer. Although selling your own products means a lot of work to begin with, in the long-run it could mean thousands of dollars in your pocket. Depending on the cost of your product it could even be in the millions! If you are offering an affiliate program then you have a team of people vouching for your product and offering it to their lists. Talk about leverage! Huge amounts of money can be made with your own product offering. But best of all you keep all the profit!

4. Speak at seminars – If you offer your services as a speaker at various seminars or perhaps offer your own seminar this allows you to become recognized as an expert in your field. This builds credibility and makes you look like an authority in your niche. You can gain a lot of trust and a lot of wealth not only by charging to speak but also by offering your own products at these seminars. There is huge earning potential in becoming a speaker.

So, if you have wondered how you could make money online consider these suggestions and just make it happen! You only accomplish success by putting words and plans into action.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Does Your Squeeze Page Make the Grade?

Like most online websites, your site probably has a squeeze-page and offers your readers good information. Your visitors simply opt-in and sign up for whatever it is you are offering them and automatically get sent information. What a great concept! However, are you getting the most signups possible? Any idea what your sign-up conversion rate is? Well, if you haven’t already tested your squeeze pages to see how well they are performing look no further. I have done it for you!
There are many things you can do to your squeeze-page to ensure your opt-in rate is the highest it can possibly be. You want to make sure your visitors are intrigued and are lured in by your opt-in page. But you can only do this if you know the “graphical rules” of a good opt-in or shall I say squeeze- page as it is commonly referred to as.

Rules to Increase Your Opt-In/Squeeze-Page Conversion Rate:

1. If you are going to put benefits on your squeeze-page, I have found that if you have bullets, your squeeze-page should have three, maybe five bullets max - that’s it! Notice I did not say four or two. That’s because you should not use even numbers. Use odd numbers. We’ve found an odd number of bullets increases conversion.

2. The button on your squeeze page should say something like “Grab this information” or “Grab this free e-book.” You can to put a caret - which is a greater than sign symbol. It’s right above the period. Use the carets to point to the button as this will often increase your conversion.

3. Putting a red box around your opt-in also increases your conversion on your squeeze-page.

So, those are some key things to implement right away because if you increase your conversions on your squeeze page, it’ll increase your sales. That means more people are buying from you which means more money in your pocket!

You must also remember that in your autoresponder sequence the first day your visitor signs up, you should immediately send them a welcome message. Follow that up with some good information related to your niche. Send this information about an hour after your welcome message. A lot of autoresponders don’t offer hourly notifications. However, if you use the software I highly recommend and have told you about continuously – Autoresponse Plus, this software has this capability.

The next day you can send them another message that sends them to your sales page for your low-end product or service. I offer the low-end product or service so that hopefully they will purchase and I’ll be able to offer them my bonus phone consultation offer and then give them the up-sell at that point.

This sequence has worked wonders for me and returned thousands upon thousands of dollars. I highly recommend you try following these autoresponder tips as I’m sure they will be just as successful for you as they are for me. Best of luck!

Well, if you haven't already tested your squeeze pages to see how well they are performing look no further. I have done it for you!

There are many things you can do to your squeeze-page to ensure your opt-in rate is the highest it can possibly be. You want to make sure your visitors are intrigued and are lured in by your opt-in page. But you can only do this if you know the "graphical rules" of a good opt-in or shall I say squeeze- page as it is commonly referred to as.

Rules to Increase Your Opt-In/Squeeze-Page Conversion Rate:

If you are going to put benefits on your squeeze-page, I have found that if you have bullets, your squeeze-page should have three, maybe five bullets max - that's it! Notice I did not say four or two. That's because you should not use even numbers. Use odd numbers. We've found an odd number of bullets increases conversion.

Putting a red box around your opt-in also increases your conversion on your squeeze-page.
So, those are some key things to implement right away because if you increase your conversions on your squeeze page, it'll increase your sales. That means more people are buying from you which means more money in your pocket!

You must also remember that in your autoresponder sequence the first day your visitor signs up, you should immediately send them a welcome message. Using Videos to Grow Your Business

Taking your business to the next level is very doable especially if you consider adding video advertising to your marketing. Now when I say advertising I don't necessarily mean blatant in-your-face advertising. I mean showing what it is your business has to offer, whether it be services or tools or just offering information to your audience. These all can be considered forms of advertising. It gets your message across and can do it extremely quickly.

Video is viral. This visible medium can take your business to the next level because videos are so contagious. Consider YouTube.com and other video sites like Yahoo Video, MSN Video, Google Video, Brightcove, Mochila or Blinkx and others... These sites all have a huge following and if you place your video on any of these sites you are bound to see your traffic increase.

Communicating with your customers and potential customers with the use of video can add a fresh perspective to the always common simple website text. Video is dynamic, fresh and can be very informative in a matter of seconds. It saves your visitor time and also adds an intriguing twist to the regular static text online world.

Here are some tips to consider when adding video to your website:

1.First ask yourself if the video will add sales to your website. Your answer should be a definite yes!

2.Will you make the video yourself or have a professional produce it for you? There are a lot of fairly inexpensive video devices available that can produce good quality videos. Consider your market. Is your business extremely professional and targeting top notch clientele? If so, perhaps hiring a professional videographer is the answer. However, if your market can handle a more laid-back casual video style then you may be able to be your own personal videographer!

3.Do you have the expertise to produce, upload and host the video for your website? If not, perhaps you'll need to invest some time or possibly invest some money into educating yourself. There are also a lot of online resources available that can train you on how to add video to your website for free. But make sure you get good solid information that will make your business stand out from your competitors!

You must also consider that like with anything on the internet, marketing is one of the main factors in expanding your business. Why not test out video on your website and see the response. Online video is now in its infancy and other businesses are catching on fast. Make sure you're ahead of the game by adding video to your online marketing efforts so that you too can reap the rewards with increased sales.

Rip-Off Revenge

There will be blood.

I've been totally ripped off...

I'm out for blood.

I just found out that yet another
of my former students has ripped off
my materials and is now selling them
with his own name on the cover.

Pretending that he came up with the
money-making system that I taught him.

And frankly, I'm sick of this.

It's happened to many of us.

So to shut these guys down once
and for all, I decided.

"There Will Be Blood".

And when I say, "there will
be blood" I mean it.

When you get robbed, ripped off, and cheated,
sometimes there just has to be blood.

And you, are going to profit. Big time.

Build Your Business Online and Offline

A lot of online business owners use various online strategies, tools and software to build their business online. They use the tips of good website design, along with autoresponder messages to capture their audiences contact information... They send emails and offer free newsletters and reports, but few online businesses ever consider building their business even further offline.

Expanding your wealth offline is a major factor in increasing your revenues and profits. I can't emphasize this enough. This is how I've grown my business and I am a true believer in taking your business offline while still maintaining your online presence. You've got to be aggressive marketers. And you have to do this online as well as offline. It's amazing how much you can increase your conversions this way.

Obtain your customers online and take them offline as soon as possible. The biggest problem most website business owners have is they're not integrating other tools and various mediums into their business. You must do it if you want to stay alive online. The best way to take your business offline is by first, having your offer through an opt-in page made with a sequence of messages. This gives you the ability to contact your audience or potential customers over and over again.

Next, after these visitors opt-in to your list, you automatically send them to your sales page and after that you contact them by phone. You increase your personal connection this way and gain the trust of your visitors but you're also helping increase your conversion and response rate because this personal connection will likely make the sale!

You've got to realize, many business people make business so difficult when it's really a simple process. Just keep it simple, have a system like the one I use above and you can make thousands more for your business.

Even if you choose not to pick up the phone (although I highly recommend this) you can choose to offer your opt-in list a free physical item that can be mailed to them. Offer them something of value that they can't resist. This way you are sure to capture their personal mailing address. You give them that personal touch by taking your business offline and making that one-on-one connection. It's amazing how much of a response you can get mailing out an item to your potential customer – especially if it's for FREE!

Remember; don't ignore other avenues of your business. Offline advertising is one of the overlooked marketing strategies used today. Although you can save on shipping costs by having your businesses solely online, you're missing out on a ton of profits by excluding good old fashioned direct mail. Offline advertising is a must-do for your business. Don't neglect this profitable avenue.

Form Companies around Your Niches

When you find the right niche for your new online business, you need to ensure you own those visitors who visit your site. Ownership can only happen if you make a squeeze page. It is imperative that all of your niche website businesses have their own squeeze page aka opt-in page in order to capture your visitors. You want to capture your visitor’s names and email addresses in order for you to get in contact with them again so that you can offer them more products. You can even go a bit further and ask for their address to send them something in the mail. But this is usually done a bit later in the process in order to add that personal touch. A free giveaway that is considered valuable to your subscriber after they opt-in is always an excellent option at gaining more of their personal information. That way you can send them offers via physical mail which gives you a greater chance of having them read and respond to your offer.

However, you must remember, by building a niche site you are the expert and the master of your domain so to speak. Your visitors are looking to you for advice, support and assistance. They are serious about what they are looking for and your niche business should be as well.

Anyone looking for information online is eager for answers to their questions, that’s why they are looking to you for the answer. Once they find you and get to know you they can be very loyal customers. The only way and the best way to make them your customer and hopefully your lifelong customer is to contact them over and over again. The only way to do this is by capturing their personal information using an opt-in form. This form is the initial step in forming your company. Once you capture your customer’s information you have the key to wealth! As long as you market to them again and again and send them lots of good, solid information, they’ll be a customer for life.

Here are some other tips for making your squeeze page a success:

• If you’re using a background, the best colors to use on your squeeze page are a light grey or a white background.

• Black or maroon headlines I find produce the best results. So, make sure your sqeeze-page and sales letter pages use these colors for their headlines!

• Use good, professional direct response copywriting for your sales letters. Sales letter copywriting is an art form – a formula. And if the right formula is not used this can decrease your conversion rate. So, for top conversion rates, it’s best to have your sales letter professionally written by a results-oriented copywriter that produces high conversion rates for sales letters regardless of the niche.

If you follow these simple tips, you will definitely see positive results through your sales and your company will grow beyond what you ever could have imagined. Good luck!

More on Marketing to Your List

As I’ve stated before you really should send out as many emails to your list as possible if you hope to achieve any kind of sales volume. So, make sure you have some sort of opt-in form on your site or publication that is easy to find. Driving traffic to your site through press releases, articles and content on your site is great, but you have to be able to capture your visitor’s information in order to be able to market to them later. The more people you have on your list, the more money you’re going to make.

So, fast-forwarding a bit... you’ve now been able to build a decent list but you are really stuck on how much you can market to this list via your products or your affiliate’s. What you want to do is you always want to be doing things to keep on filling your funnel so you can start marketing more and more things.

In the first, second and third month what should you expect? Well, if you’re always marketing multiple opportunities out there, you really want to be very careful of what you are offering and what you’re not offering. Just don’t throw crap down the pipeline at them, but also don’t just sit there and do nothing at all.

So, you should be sending out emails pretty much all the time. Try to find something that’s very, very lucrative that’s really going to put a lot into your pocket.

Get started by going out and finding the affiliate programs that you feel comfortable with and you trust enough that you’re willing to put your name behind.
Once you do promote it, one thing I would recommend is that you don’t just send out one email and think it’s all over with. I would recommend dedicating a week to promoting a product or promoting something that you’re marketing, not just changing from one product to the next.

Money-wise, I’ll just tell you, you’re going to make all your biggest mistakes at the beginning when you first get started.

One of the biggest mistakes I think most people have about affiliate marketing is the fact that companies give you emails, links and all this stuff and you don’t use it. They’ve already got the system figured out and if you try to recreate the system, well, then that’s where I see the most failure is made. Follow the system – if they’ve got a system, they’ve got a way that things work and there’s probably a reason for that.

The first week, you’ve got to get you list trained. You’ve got to get them used to the fact that you’re going to be sending them emails promoting and offering things to them. By the second week you can get a better feel for your list, of what they can take, what they can’t take, and not only that, how much it means for you. If you’re always offering various products to your list, after a while you’re going to get to a point where it’s going to seem pretty easy.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Your Keyword List Affects Your Google Adwords Campaigns

Creating a Google Adwords Campaign is a fairly simple process. All you have to do is go to Google.com and click on Advertising Programs. Then it leads to another page and you’ll see the Google Adwords link on the left side. If you haven’t signed up already for Google Adwords, do so immediately. This is a great way to leverage your existing organic traffic and sales with those from your campaigns.

Once you sign up you’ll have to start a campaign and produce ad groups so that you can test and tweak what ads are working and what ads are not. But you should realize that your ad wording is not the only important thing you need to consider when preparing your ads. You need to also think about your keyword lists!
The more keywords you have when you run your campaigns the better. I always say about 80% of your words are not going to perform well and the other 20% are going to be good.

When you set up your Google AdWords campaign you don’t initially know which keywords are actually going to perform for you. So that’s where you have to do some testing and observing to see what your visitors are responding to in your ads. So, basically, if you throw a bunch of keywords into your campaign and run the ad, you’re going to figure out which keywords are getting impressions and which keywords aren’t getting impressions. This way you’ll know which ones are working and which ones aren’t.

If you run your ads for a day or two you’ll be able to see what keywords are performing for you. For those keywords that are not getting any or are getting extremely low impressions delete these. Take note of your keywords that are getting a good response rate. These keywords getting the impressions will be a part of your 20%. Then once you’re down to the top 20% keep this list of keywords and use it to create your new keyword list for your final Google Adwords campaign.

You can even create new ad groups! So, you have a campaign and inside each campaign you have an ad group. Therefore, inside that campaign you’ve created, you separate all the keywords into the list of the strong keywords that are part of your 20% list. This list is now more targeted or shall we say “niched” and will definitely grab more results from your visitors.

Better results equal higher returns for you and your business! A definite win-win!!

How to Avoid Having Your Autoresponder Message End Up In Your Subscribers Bulk Email

Using autoresponder programs to grow your list is one of the most important things you should do to expand your business and your bank account. However, you need the right autoresponder software but you also need to understand what should and shouldn’t be included in your email messages to your visitors.

First let’s begin with software. One of the best autoresponder software programs out there is Autoresponse Plus (located at www.autoresponderplus.com). This program developed by Neil Morgan is an excellent program that has no monthly fees! You make one payment and it automatically and efficiently manages your prospect subscriptions.

If you are using the software Autoresponse Plus for your autoresponder message set-up, you should be aware that it has a default message for the unsubscribe link. It says, “If you wish to unsubscribe, please click the link below.” Well, “click” and “link” are spam words, so those two words in your unsubscribe link could be putting you in the bulk folder. The last thing you want are your messages to be considered spam. You want to avoid this from happening at every cost.

What I highly recommend you do is in Autoresponse Plus... go into Systems, then Settings. Scroll down and Autorespose Plus will show you what their unsubscribe link looks like. You can fix the wording there and personalize it to suit your needs. Maybe rewrite the words so it no longer uses the words “click” or “link.” Instead, change the wording to something like this - “If you wish to unsubscribe, go here.” The less it sounds like spam the less chance of your message ending up in your subscriber’s bulk folder.

As far as autoresponders are concerned, I recommend single opt-in as opposed to double opt-in. However, I know many of my readers are seeing many of your autoresponder messages go into the spam bulk folder. Some of you have asked “...if you use double opt-in, would people automatically have to white list you, therefore increasing the deliverability?” The answer is no.

The one thing you might want to check, if your email messages are going into the spam and bulk filter is are you putting your name and address inside the emails that you’re sending out? It is essential to make sure that you have your company name, phone number, company’s physical address and an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each and every email you send out to your subscribers. This is extremely important! If you don’t, your email will be considered spam. And with the implementation of the Anti-Spam Act also known as CAN Spam Act of 2003 you don’t want to mess with that. Unfortunately, a lot has changed for the online business owner. More red tape and more to do but it’s the abusers who have made it more difficult for the rest of us. However, if you comply with the Anti-Spam Act you should have no problem sending your messages. These are just a few simple rules you have to follow to ensure your business complies and ends up being profitable in the end and making your autoresponder promotion a success!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak
