I set goals for myself. I remember my first goal on the internet was to make $100. It wasn’t to make a million. My next goal was to make $1,000. Then after that was to make $10,000. When I made my $10,000, I decided my next goal would be to make $ 100,000.

Do You Know The Right “F” Word for Success?

One of the biggest things to stand between most people and success is fear. Fear can be defined in many ways. There is only one “F” word which you should consider if you want to be successful. That word is…This article will show you what FEAR should stand for in your thinking.

Once you have begun to think positively and use decisive language, you will need to learn how to move from thoughts and language to action. When you begin to take action there are two important “F” words. The first word, FEAR, can stop you from reaching your goals, stop you from super-sizing your lifestyle.

You may have heard this before - probably from Brian Tracy. You hear many speakers saying it…

Well, I thought about that and they are right. But here’s my spin on it, it’s not only False Evidence Appearing Real, but it’s also, False EDUCATION Appearing Real.

Some people are educated the wrong way. That is why I want to share this information with you. If you live in FEAR, you will never get the results that you want.

The other “F” word is FAITH. You’ve gotta have faith. Have faith in yourself. Have faith in you husband. Have faith in your wife. Have faith in your kids. Have faith in your business. Have faith in your idea. You will see results! Have faith in other people, too. Not having faith in other people is a huge problem that many of us have. You have to have faith. Your Faith moves you forward through action and leads you to the result that you desire.

Let me ask you a question. Do you know your personal cost of not developing the Internet Millionaire Mindset? Do you know the actual hard cost? I’ll tell you one of the costs for me, was looking in the eyes of my child and my wife at Christmas and knowing that I couldn’t give them what I wanted to give them. I couldn’t give them what they wanted or needed.

The thing that changed my life, and I do not often share this story. I grew up in a small town outside of Youngstown, Ohio, a hard working steel town called Cortland. We didn’t have much money. My parents gave me a budget. My parents told me, “If you want to buy expensive shoes, and the cool clothes that the other kids are wearing. You have to earn the money for yourself. You have to go out there and make it happen.” I said, “Okay, I will.” I went out and got a couple of paper routes.

One of the last stops on my paper route was an assisted living community (or as I called it then, an old folks’ home). I would sit around and talk to them. The old people would say, “Boy, if I was your age” and “I wish I would’ve done this” or “I could’ve done this and I should’ve done that.”
They were telling me all the things and they wished they had accomplished in their lives.

I remember many of them saying to me “If I had the money I would have invested in stocks, or I would have started business because I could have made a lot of money.”

I remember one day, I was on my way home from my paper routes. Instead of passing by the waterfall at the old mill, I rode my bike down to the water with my paper-bag on my shoulder. I threw it on my bike; I ran underneath the waterfall and made a promise to myself: “I will never end up like those people – full of regret. I do not want to end up like that. I don’t want to ever say, ‘I wish I had done this, or I wish I could’ve done that.’”

I want to live life without regrets. I want to emphasize that to you. Think about all of the things you could have done, you should have done, and you would have done, but you did not. It was fear that stopped you from doing those things. I want to challenge you to start moving in faith, because absolute miracles will happen for you.

“FAQ about Schedulers”

Do you have more questions about Schedulers? Well, you are in the right place because we have more answers. Read on to find the answers to more frequently asked questions about Schedulers.

What should you look for when running an ad for a Scheduler? Make sure to put in the ad that there is NO cold calling and mention that you have qualified leads. Tell them the leads are given to them daily. They need to be organized and professional. They will be assigned to a sales representative. They need to be knowledgeable about database entry. They need to be personable. Find out how they sound on the phone. They need good phone manners.

Tip: You can move your Scheduler around to different positions in your office. They don’t always have to be Schedulers. Schedulers are usually the easiest to transfer around the office.

Tip: You can also outsource Schedulers since they work through the phone.

How do we go about monitoring how the Scheduler is doing? You want each Scheduler to have daily and weekly goals. You should track their actual numbers every week. As a team you can require them to report to each other every week. For example, every Monday you can have a team meeting. The Schedulers should each try to have their numbers at the top. The Scheduler has to be a self motivator. The more appointment your sales team has, the more money you make as a Scheduler.

Why would you have to call 40 people to get 9 appointments? How do you handle this? Were they not home? Didn’t they want to set up an appointment?
- If they say they aren’t interested then stop calling them.
- If they aren’t home then leave a brief message. If they don’t call back then try to contact them again. Call them 3 more times and send 3 emails over the next week until you get them on the phone. If you still can’t get a hold of them, put them in an “Unable to Contact” file and you can call them back when you have free time.

Tip: Leave a brief message that doesn’t refer to any selling. Make them curious so they are more apt to call back.

Tip: Run through a few mock calls with new Schedulers. Give them a few different scenarios so they can practice with the scripts. It will increase their chances of success when they talk to actual customers.

“Common Questions about Schedulers”

Let’s look at some common questions and situations that occur for Schedulers when they are booking phone consultation sessions. Learning about these situations can help improve the performance of your Schedulers and bring in more money for your business.

What do you do if somebody asks about another program? You let them know that the strategist is the one that will go over this stuff in the strategy session. You don’t go into details or pitch other programs or try to make the sale. Leave this all to the strategist. Your main goal is just to make the appointment.

What do you think are some of the biggest things that many schedulers are doing wrong?
1. The Scheduler is not direct. They don’t give exact times for appointments.
2. They are shy on the phone. Remember this is not a cold call.
3. They aren’t organized. You have to follow up and confirm with an email after you end the call. Make sure to give the appropriate time zones.
4. They are not personable. You have to be able to pick up the phone and talk to anybody.

How do we make sure that people do appear for the phone consultation session?
1. Confirm dates and times on the phone verbally as well as send them an email.
2. Keep appointments scheduled no more than 2-3 days in advance. If it is later, give them a call to remind them.

What happens if somebody says they can’t make the 2-3 time options you give them? Ask them a time that fits in their schedule. Should that opening be available then you schedule it and give it to them.

Tip: You may have to call them back in the future (in a couple weeks) to set up an appointment if they don’t know their schedule or want to put off the appointment.

What is the relationship between the Scheduler and the Sales Person?
You’ll find that most sales people can handle 5-6 appointments per day. They take 45-60 minutes for each appointment. Also give the sales person a little time to run over such as 5-30 minutes. This also gives them time to refresh.

Tip: If the customer thinks that you are going to sell to them at the end of the call and just wants to go to the end of the call then you should set up an appointment with the strategist as soon as possible.

“How Schedulers can Book more Appointments

You have employed Schedulers. They set up the appointments for the phone consultations of the sales people. Everything is running smoothly, but you are not getting enough appointments booked each week. How can you motivate your Schedulers to increase the number of phone consultations they book each week?

One option is to put on a board, that is visible to everybody in the office, the number of appointments they schedule each day. Set goals and make them accountable by placing these on a board. The goal is to schedule 60 appointments a week.

Also remind Schedulers that the more the scheduler books the more money they will make. This is a huge incentive especially if the sales person sells high ticket items. Depending on your commission structure, the Scheduler could make 1% of the sales on the call which can add up quickly.

Remind Schedulers that the better quality person they schedule an appointment with, the more money they will make. This means that they want to schedule appointments with people that are eager and not try to schedule appointments with people who desperately don’t want a phone consultation.

Many Internet markets get on the phone with their customers for every single product that they sell. Why? There is always an upgrade you can sell to them. There are ways to always make more money.

So now you have your Schedulers motivated and booking more appointments. What should they focus on before booking the session to make it even easier to book more appointments? Explain that you want to be very brief with the person on the phone. Introduce yourself and remind them of what they bought. For example, the Scheduler can say “As you probably know one of your free bonuses was a free consultation with the product you purchased…” Have a script that they can refer to and read from.

Give customers only 2-3 options for scheduling. If you don’t they will tend to go around the point and you may not get your session booked.

Don’t go into a lot of details about what the strategy session is going be about. Just be brief and say that you are going to set up a free strategy session to help their online business.

Basically, Schedulers should strive to get on the phone, get off the phone and get the appointment set as quickly as possible.

“How to Find a Scheduler”

You know that talking to your customers on the phone is a great way to up sell to them. The question is how to schedule appointments for this phone consultation. Should you have the sales person that will talk during the actual calls set up the appointments as well? The answer is no. Why not? It’s simple. When you try to set up these appointments you will hear a lot of no’s from people. These no’s tend to diminish and tire the sales person, so they won’t be at their best when they actually have a sales call. Therefore, you should hire a Scheduler to set up the appointments.

How do you find a Scheduler?
First, you need to put out an advertisement for a Scheduler. A great place to use is Craigslist.com which is free. Make sure that the ad is on the online version of the local newspaper as well. You could also try an online job board like Monster.com.

You should say the following in your ad.
“No cold calling. Responsible for scheduling appointments with quality leads daily. Must maintain daily and weekly call logs, follow up with clients. No cry babies aloud. Email or fax resume. Please no phone calls. Base + commission”

Tip: Schedulers can move around in your company and take on various roles. For example, they could act as an assistant in the future..

Tip: For sales people you should only allow a sales person to be with you for 2 weeks, if they don’t sell within these 2 weeks then let go of them or move them into a different position.

Let’s say you get a great Scheduler candidate. They must have a good, strong phone voice. They have to not be afraid to get on the phone. Hire somebody that is familiar and used to calling all day long.

Let them know that their pay is $10-$12/hour + commission.

An effective commission structure is the following:
When the Scheduler books the appointment, they make 1% of the sales the sales person makes during the actual sales call. This is a great incentive for the Scheduler to make as many phone call appointments as possible.

Tip: For every 2 sales people you need 1 scheduler.

“How to take Online Payments”

The goal is make money online with no work and have cash appear in your bank account. Right? So how do you get this online money into your bank account? Many people don’t really know how this works. We’re going to explain exactly how it works so you can set it up for your business.

You need to have the following:
1. A bank account. That is where your money will be deposited.
2. A merchant account.
3. A shopping cart. The purpose of the shopping cart is to make the order forms and keep up with the orders. It gives the orders to the Internet gateway and runs the credit cards. Then the shopping cart goes to the merchant account and pays you.
A great shopping cart program is Kickstart Cart.

The internet gateway to use is Authorize.net. This makes the shopping cart talk to your merchant account.

Let’s look more at the merchant account. Be careful about which program you choose because most of them are really bad. It is important to know that merchant accounts ONLY deal with Visa and MasterCard. If you want to accept American Express and Discover then you have to go to each credit card company directly.

Why can’t I just get a merchant account through my bank? The answer is that banks view online payments as high risk.

Why is it important to pick the best merchant account company? Read about my experiences with merchant account companies to show you why. I have 5-7 merchant accounts. The first merchant account I had cost $1,000 to set up and I am stuck in a 5 year contract with them. Plus, if you earn a lot more than you expect, it can be frozen by the merchant account. The merchant account companies are not designed to protect you; they are designed to protect themselves. So if you earn more in the first week than you expected for a year then they view you as a potential fraud. So they can freeze your money while they investigate or for a period of 6 months.

The second merchant account I got was like filling out a mortgage application. I felt like I was signing my life away. They held 50% of my money for 6 months which was terrible.

The third merchant account I went to charged me 15% for Internet transactions. They also held another 10% each month and said they would give it back to me after 6 months. I have not seen that money yet.

The fourth merchant account I went with put a hold on my account and has $40,000 worth of my money because I maxed out my limit and they think that I was fraudulent, but I’m not.

So I was looking for a merchant account that accepts a huge amount of orders and has an unlimited amount of money that can be run through it. I found a merchant account that fit this bill. What is this special merchant account that I love? It is Powerpay.

Have you written your million dollar blueprint platform? Are you sure it is the best it can be? Following is a list of 8 tips that you should know to ensure that you have written the best possible million dollar blueprint platform. If you already have incorporated these tips then hats off to you. If you haven’t then you have some work ahead of you.

Platform Tip #1: You don’t have to use every single part of the million dollar blueprint formula. Use what you need.

Platform Tip #2: Don’t be afraid about getting your platform done perfectly. Just do it. You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

“The Million Dollar Blueprint Platform – Part IV”

Are you still working on your million dollar blueprint platform? You are almost at the end. You can see the finish line. There are just a few more steps to go. Read on to find out steps 13-16 and how to apply them to your business.

Step #13: It’s really important to sell when you get in front of people. You are giving customers ways to continue their education and learn more. It is your right and obligation to provide information to your customers through your products and services. So sell, sell, and sell some more! Don’t just talk, but sell at the end of your presentation.

Step #14: You want to address the most common objections for moving forward. Determine this ahead of time. Ask yourself – “What stops people from buying the product?” Ask people this too so you can get feedback. Then figure out the answers to these questions as to why these objections can be overcome by your product or service. Incorporate this into your presentation.

Examples of objections:
- Spouse and family members object to the purchase.
- I don’t have time.
- I don’t have the money.

Step #15: Just do it! Don’t sit around and think about it. Get up and take action. NOW!

Step #16: The absolute most important thing is to give people clear instructions on how to respond to your presentation and sales pitch. For example you can say, “What I want you to do right now is get your purse or wallet, pull out your credit card, fill out the form, and send your money to…go to the website and click on this button”

You have to be direct. People will be confused unless you give them the specific steps. Don’t just assume that they know how to get your product. You have to hold their hand. The more you do that, the more sales you will get.

Once you finish working through Step #16 then you can pat yourself on the back because you have created your million dollar blueprint platform. Congratulations!

“The Million Dollar Blueprint Platform – Part III”

So you’ve accomplished the first 9 steps of the million dollar blueprint platform. Guess what? You’re not finished yet. Read on to find the ins and outs of steps 10-12.

Step #10: Prove there is an abundance of opportunity and profit potential. The one way to prove this is to say there are tons of people searching for you on the Internet all the time. Download the piece of software called “Good Keywords”. You can find out the number of people that search for your niche everyday. Give examples. Then your customer will start seeing dollar signs in their minds.

Give plenty examples of successful applications of your product, service, or system. For example, let’s say your niche is real estate. Tell customers that hypothetically your system showed people how to make $10,000 on every deal that they do. Let’s say that you did two deals a month. That is easy to achieve. This means that you would make $20,000 a month and $240,000 per year. But let’s be more conservative and you have 1 deal per month. That would be $120,000 per year. Then ask your customer to imagine how better their life would be if they earned this extra $120,000 per year.

Tip: Make sure to be as detailed as possible when you give these examples, especially real life examples of you or your associates. Give numbers. Give the niche type. People like detail because it helps them to better evaluate what you are talking about. Plus, more details are much more convincing.

Tip: If you don’t have associates that have real examples of success with your system then you can use common public figures like Donald Trump. Talk about how they applied certain techniques that are similar or the same as your system.

Tip: Don’t be salesy the whole time. Give some valuable content so there is meat in your platform.

11. Give examples of refusal to take the offer. Examples include profit loss, time loss, and legal problems. For example, if they don’t use your product or service then they might go into a deal and get sued because they don’t know what they are doing. Your product or service will help them avoid these negative side effects. You need to explain that people don’t know what they don’t know which could hurt them.

12. Important! Use scarcity and urgency. Disclaimer: Use these for good, not for the bad.
These should be in your presentation to be convincing. This will get people off their lazy couch and buy your product or service.

Examples of scarcity and urgency include:
- Limited Availability. This works well with bonuses. For example, you have a promotion for a home study course. You can limit how many of the home study courses you want to produce. For example, you could just make 500 home study courses. Explain that there is a limited availability so people are more likely to take action.

- Limited time. This works well on teleseminars. For example, “If you order before midnight you can get a discount..”

- For the first “X” amount of people, you’ll get a bonus. This will get people to buy your product as soon as possible so they don’t miss out.

“The Million Dollar Blueprint Platform – Part II”

So you’ve started working on your million dollar blueprint platform. You’ve completed steps 1-4. Now find out the next five steps and how you can apply them to your business.

Step #5: Answer the question “Why should anyone spend money with you instead of the alternative?” It is common for people to think that the alternative is just direct competition. Actually, that is not the only alternative. If people have money in their pocket they are going to spend it one way or another. So another alternative is to put their money in the bank. You have to tell customers why your product or service is better than the alternative. You have to point out exactly why investing in your product or service is better than investing in things like the direct competition, CDs, stocks, etc.

Give an example: If you invested $2,500 in a CD and the CD gives you 3% per year than you’re only going to earn $60 per year. That’s not much money. Show how your product and service will earn them much more than that in one year.

Give another example: The customer thinks they can learn this information in college. Show that education can take much longer and will cost more than investing in your product or service.

Give yet another example: The customer wants to take their money and invest in a vacation or car. Show how an investment in your product or service will yield much more money. If you go on vacation you will spend all your money and have no money left when you return from vacation. With that same amount of money they can invest in your product and earn much more money.

Step #6: Answer the question “What is the value that somebody receives when they move forward with you?” You have to talk about where they are right now in their life and then show how your product will change their life for the better.

Step #7: Answer the question “What is the cost of not taking action?”

Step #8: Answer the question “Why is it more dangerous and expensive to do it alone?” Example: It can take you 3 years and $65,000 to learn the secrets of the product.

Step #9: Answer the question “How can you minimize the risk involved in performance of the act?” For example, let’s look at real estate product. You can buy a property in a great deal. You can possibly lose money and get sued. However, if you have the right paperwork then you can earn money and avoid being sued.

Now it’s time to work on your answers to these tips. Take the time to write out this information.

“The Million Dollar Blueprint Platform – Part I”

You can make a lot of money in teleseminars and speaking from the platform. A teleseminar is a platform. If you are speaking at events then you can extract a lot of money from crowds.

Imagine that you had a group of people hot and hungry who want to listen to you talk. They want to buy your products and services. If you get in front of a group of people, give them information, but don’t sell to them then you are dropping your ball. It is your job, duty, and right to go there and offer continuing education through your presentation and the products you sell. You have to sell! Not only to make money, but to help your customers.

I did 3 speaking events at 1.5 hours for a total of 4.5 hours of speaking and I produced over $250,000 in profit! How exciting is that?

Another example is to do a teleseminar and have a guest on your call. This guest can give a presentation and you both make a lot of money. If that happens then ask that guest to come back. You can have an encore presentation.

What happens if the teleseminar doesn’t go correctly? For example, what if your guest can’t make it to the teleseminar that you set up? The answer is that you will have to take the reigns and give the teleseminar content yourself. Where can you get information for your presentation? You should have a powerful platform template that you can follow. This will help you in a pinch and when you talk on your own.

Million Dollar Blueprint:
1. Make a detailed list of all the benefits and features of the product you are selling.
2. Make a detailed list of all the benefits and features of the concept and strategies you are selling.
3. Use the information from step 1 and 2 to create your content.
4. Answer the question “What gives you the right to talk about this product or service?” Possible answers include how you created the program or how you used the program and how it worked for you. You explain the process it took to create the product or the process it helped you with if you are a user.

These are the first four steps of the million dollar blueprint. Take time to write down your answers and content for these steps. You don’t have to get it right, just get started.

“One Email = $87,500 Profit”

Did that headline grab you? How could you earn $87,500 profit from sending one email? It’s simple. You send an email through a Joint Venture. This joint venture was an email sent the day before Christmas. The joint venture partner changed the wording of the copy I had written. The email I gave them wasn’t the email that he sent out. So who knows – I could have earned even more money.

So here are the real numbers…
They sent the email to 39,000 people. 5.5% clicked on link in the email. I sold 502 Free CDs. I collected $3,600 for the shipping and handling.

Here’s the secret of the amazing profit…
We were offering the people that bought the CD a free phone session. During this free phone session we get on the phone with them and up sold to them. We were going to up sell them to a $3,500 product. Of the 502 people that bought the free CD, 80% ended up scheduling a phone session. Of these 400 people, we sold the $3,500 product to 1 out of every 16 people. So 25 people bought the $3,500 which accounts for the $87,500 profit. We earned this from sending out one email.

Let’s go back to the free CD for a moment. Many people wonder how to handle fulfillment. How much will fulfillment cost you?
There are two ways to run fulfillment:
1. You can do it yourself. It will cost $1 for the CD and 73 cents for postage in the continental US. So we charge $5.77 for the CD and pay $1.73 for mailing it and for whoever is making the CD and mailing it.

2. Have somebody else do it for you. This will cut more into your profit, but sometimes doing your own fulfillment can become tedious.

So take this example to heart and realize that through up selling you can earn thousands of dollars from one email in a joint venture!

“Two Amazingly Powerful Ways to Drive Traffic to your Squeeze page”

Do you know the basics of getting customers to buy products from you? You have to create a squeeze page. You have to drive traffic to your squeeze page. You can offer a free CD that customers can get if they only pay the cost of shipping and handling. After they buy the free CD, you get the customer on the phone and up sell to them.

Let’s go back to driving traffic to your squeeze page. What are some ways to accomplish this? The three ways are to write articles, use Google Adwords, and to participate in joint ventures.

Let’s take a look at articles. You can write your articles which will cost you time. You may want to outsource this job to Freelance Writers on Elance.com. How much will it cost you to write and submit these articles?

Let’s look at the Elance numbers:
I’ve found that the average cost to have 3 articles written is $131. So $43.92 per articles.

Then to get each article submitted you will have to pay $20/article. This submits articles to 152 locations. This is done by hand.

Or you can use Article Submitter Pro software where it sends the article to 800 locations which takes the same amount of time. So using this software is in your best interest.

You should set the follow goals regarding your articles:
1. Get 10 articles written as written as soon possible. This will cost approximately $439. + $20 * 10 articles = $639.
2. Get 100 articles written as soon possible. This will cost approximately $4390 + $2000 = $6,390

Why is it so critical to send out 100 articles? When you submit articles, they are not only submitted to the article locations you submit to, but people who are also looking for content will find your article. These articles can be copied onto their website, if they include your bio and link. This is viral marketing and will get your name all over the Internet at no extra work.

Articles are amazing. They get passed around the Internet over and over. So you get a lot of bang for your buck.

The next way to drive traffic to your website is through Google AdWords.
Let’s look at my numbers of the 6 month average for his company. Max cost per click was 20cents. Click through rate was 1.1. You want to shoot for a click through rate of 3 and higher.

Spent approximately $15,000 over 6 months. Average placement was #4 on Google. Average conversion rate was 8.4%. Average squeeze person cost $1.87.
Each month spent $2,518 on Google AdWords which brought in l,586 subscribers per month.

But what about the free CD page? It is converting at 25-28%. This means that we get 336 buyers from this free CD page. So we make a lot of money off of each free CD. Plus, these people buy a lot more of our products.

Basically, the money that I invest in my marketing always comes back to me and then some. You have to spend money to make money. Put your money in marketing and then reinvest back into marketing to make every more profit.

“The First Three Components of a Sales Letter”

Have you written a sales letter? Are you not sure what to put in your sales letter? Let’s look at the first three items that need to be in a sales letter.

Step #1: Headline. The only purpose is to grab somebody’s attention. Don’t try to sell your product in your headline. Don’t say “Discover how to lose weight in only 7 days for $29.99”. Instead, it should just make them stop in their tracks and keep reading. They will want more information based on the headline, not just a run down of what you are selling.

Not sure how to create a headline? Try this exercise:
To create headlines you can brainstorm for ideas through a “headline drill”. In two minutes, try to come up with as many headlines as you can for the product or service that you are trying to sell. Write everything down even if it doesn’t make any sense. Be focused and let your brain dump out all the possibilities.

“The First Three Components of a Sales Letter”

Have you written a sales letter? Are you not sure what to put in your sales letter? Let’s look at the first three items that need to be in a sales letter.

Step #1: Headline. The only purpose is to grab somebody’s attention. Don’t try to sell your product in your headline. Don’t say “Discover how to lose weight in only 7 days for $29.99”. Instead, it should just make them stop in their tracks and keep reading. They will want more information based on the headline, not just a run down of what you are selling.

Not sure how to create a headline? Try this exercise:
To create headlines you can brainstorm for ideas through a “headline drill”. In two minutes, try to come up with as many headlines as you can for the product or service that you are trying to sell. Write everything down even if it doesn’t make any sense. Be focused and let your brain dump out all the possibilities.

“Don’t Reinvent the Wheel: Model your Sales Letter Copy.”

Sales letters are vital for your business. Otherwise how would you sell your products and services? A sales letter has a certain amount of steps and pieces. For example, there are 15 steps to creating a sales letter.

A sales letter is like walking someone through the sales process without slapping them in the face by saying “Hey I’m selling to you.” Your sales letter should make customer want to buy the product.

Remember that when you write a sales letter you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, you can learn from copywriting that is already out there. One way to find out what sales letters are currently being used is to sign up for newsletters for Internet marketers and copywriters to see what their copy looks like. The purpose of this is to learn the marketing tips such as what kinds of headlines they use, how they ask for money, and what kind of P.S. they use.

Always research what other marketers are doing. Study what they are doing. Model and swipe. Don’t steal it, just model it. Great marketers know how successful business and sales letters are run and use that same format for themselves. You are stealing the format which is not the same as plagiarizing. So read, read, and read some more.

You don’t have to be a great writer. You just have to follow the model of successful copy.

It’s important to know that there are two different types of sales letters:
Sales Letter Type #1: “Regular” sales letters sell your products and services.
Sales Letter Type #2: A FREE CD sales letter that sells an item for the cost of shipping and handling only.

Tip: Remember the 80/20 rule. 80% of your customers will be garbage while the other 20% will bring in the most money.

So your task right now is to sign up for different email lists. Read and evaluate the emails and sales letters they present to you. Notice their copy. How did they write the headline and subheadline of the sales letter? What did the body of the sales letter look like? What did you like and not like about the sales letters? Then apply what drew you in to your own sales letter.

“7 Tips for Sales Calls”

Calling customers on the phone and having a one-on-one phone consultation can be an extremely lucrative and effective sales tool. You need to follow a specific three step format in which you understand their situation, present the ideal situation, and demonstrate how your product can help them achieve an ideal situation.

Following is a list of 7 tips that can help you get the most out of the call.

Sales Call Tip #1: “What’s in it for me?” Customers need to know what they will get out of the phone call. You should state the goals of the phone call right from the beginning. You have to convey this to the person you are selling to and reiterate it throughout the call. Give them valuable information so they don’t feel like you are just selling to them.

Sales Call Tip #2: If you don’t have a product you can become a coach. Your knowledge is valuable. You can offer a consultation. You are essentially selling your time and knowledge.

Sales Call Tip #3: Ask people to be specific. Don’t just let them say they want a lot of money per month. Make them give an actual number like earning $10,000 per month.

Sales Call Tip #4: Be real with people. Don’t let people cheat themselves. Give them the straight truth.

Sales Call Tip #5: You are not going to close every call. So don’t worry if you don’t sell them by the end of the call.

Sales Call Tip #6: Don’t prejudge people because you never know. If you prejudge people then you could miss out on lots of potential cash.

Sales Call Tip #7: Don’t be afraid to ask. You have to ask questions. You have to ask for what you want. You have to be confident when you ask.

Apply these tips to your sales calls and you will increase the potential for greater profits. Your customers will be more comfortable with you and have confidence that by purchasing a product from you they are purchasing the magic solution they have been search for.

A good friend of mine, Jason Oman
is in the hospital because he has
been having bad headaches so his
roommate took him to the hospital.

He has a brain aneurysm.

This has brought many friends to
stop in there tracks and update each
other about what is going on.

This is the last update from my good
friend Mike Litman and his co-author
of 'Conversations with Millionaires':

"They'll know tomorrow after lunch
if their going to do surgery, Larry
Benet was told there's a 30% chance
of full recovery..."

If you pray, I ask you please pray for
him. He has not only been a great influence
of on my life, but many others because of

Is article marketing DEAD?

Many people are saying something like this:

"Google and maybe other search engines "filter out" duplicate
content so articles being republished on other websites will be
virtually worthless. They won't appear in searches and will
generate little traffic."

Here are my thoughts:

I personally submit 2-3 articles a day to over 900 locations.

Something to think about, because I don't believe
this point has been really brought out, yet.

Let's say that the duplicate content thing was true. ( I think
it's a bunch of crap but whatever) Some people are missing the
greatest point about article marketing. It goes viral. You submit
your "quality" article to tons of places on the net and then those
places pick up your article then people take that article and submit
that article on their site, ezine or even mail it to there list.

If you did it correct your bio should do a excellent enough job
to drive people back to yours site. (I'd recommend driving people
to a squeeze page) Then what the heck do you need google for.
Everyone forgets about the traffic from the websites that your
article resides.

Think of google traffic as being a "bonus"

“An Example of a Sales Call”

You know that getting your customer on the phone can lead to selling bigger ticket items. But what do you say when you have them on the phone? Following is an example phone call to give you an idea of how you can apply it to your sales calls.

The phone calls are usually 1 to 1 hour 30 minutes. People will tell you that they only have “X” minutes like 20 to 30 minutes. If you are generally interested in solving their problem then time doesn’t matter. If you really engage them and sell great information then time is not an issue. So don’t tell them it’s going to be an hour right away or they become defensive.

Example: How to sell a SEO home study course.

Sales Person: So you’ve got a website. What is the reason you want to have this phone call with me today?

Customer Answer: I’ve put a lot of money into the website.

Sales Person: So you think SEO will help right?

Customer Answer: Yes, because then I’ll drive up my placement in search engines.

Sales Person: You want to get traffic to your website to sell more stuff? This will make you more money? Why else do you want it?

Customer Answer: To make money for my family.

Sales Person: So tell me about your family…

Customer Answer: I make about $3,000 per month.

Sales Person: How much per month do you want to make? Be specific.

Customer Answer: $10 - $20,000 per month in 5 months.

Sales Person: What would this new money allow in your life?

Customer Answer: My family could go on vacation. I’d have financial freedom.

Sales Person: So you see SEO as helping you achieve this money? What do you know about SEO?

Customer Answer: (Let them explain what they know about SEO.)

Now it’s time for the sales person to paint a pretty picture about how SEO is supposed to work. Give an ideal situation about being the #1 placement on Google. This would lead to more sales which lead to more money which leads to financial freedom and a happy family.

Sales Person: So how do you think you achieve this in SEO?

Customer Answer: I don’t know.

The sales person then explains how their SEO home study course can help customer achieve the ideal situation.

Customer: I’m ready to buy!

“The 3 Step Selling Process of a 1 Hour Phone Call”

So you have the customer on the phone. Now, how do you sell to them? Follow this format to help you earn the most money and please your customer at the same time.

3 Step selling process for a one hour call:
Step #1: First 15-20 minutes – During this time you have the customer tell you what their problem or situation is. Tell them that you have two goals for the phone call: 1) you want to learn more about them and help them out with strategies and 2) you want to show how you can help them.

So let them tell you what they are looking for. Have them explain where they are at. Give them free reign to tell you anything and everything. You can use this information as ammunition later on in the call when you sell to them.

Following is an example of the first step in action. The client is in the Internet Marketing industry:
Ask why do you want an online business? Then have them tell you everything they think about this question. Note their answers. Figure out what they really want at the core. For example, they may have trouble getting what they want out of life because they can’t accomplish their goals.

Step #2 of the call is to explain an ideal situation or ideal solution.
For example, with regard to your goal setting this is how it “should” work…..
Explain it to them. You want them to understand how it is supposed to work and if they can get it to work this way then they will achieve whatever goal it is that they want to achieve. Ask them if they understand how an ideal works. If you’ve done a good job of explaining it then they will say “yes”. Then you show how you can help with to achieve the ideal which leads to step #3.

Step #3 of the call is to offer a solution. Your solution is the explanation manifested. This means that you show how the reasons they listed in step #1 could be solved by using your product and service.

Tip: You need to be interactive during the whole call. Don’t just talk at them. They will sell themselves more often than not if you let them talk, answer questions, and ask questions.

Tip: It’s logical to proceed forward, but humans are not logical, they are emotional.

You should also know the “CAB” Principle:
“Cut, agitate, and Bend”
Cut: Find out what bothers them.
Agitate: Let them see that there is a better way and how much better their life could be. Make them feel like their problems are much deeper than they realize.
Bend: Bend them in your direction and show them that your product or service could help them become closer to the ideal situation.

Tip: People don’t like to be sold. People like to make decisions themselves. People love to sit on the fence. So sometimes you have to push them off the fence in your direction.

Tip: These tips apply to any product or service that’s why we can refer to products as widgets.

“The Purpose of a Free Phone Consultation”

Let’s look at selling. Let’s say that you’ve created your sales letter page for your free CD offer. How should you sell your products besides using the sales letter page? The answer is that you get on the phone and talk with the customer. Wait, you think, that means I have to cold call? No, you are not cold calling because you are going to speak with customers that have already purchased something from you or that have spent shipping and handling to obtain one of your free CDs. Therefore, these leads already know about you and are not considered cold calls of people that you find out of the phone book.

Why not use cold calling? Cold calling doesn’t work very well because many people are skeptical when you call them out of the blue and they know nothing about you. Plus, your customers are pre-qualified leads and a pre-qualified lead is 100 times better than a nonqualified/cold call lead.

Tip: The more you’ve done to pre-qualify the lead, the easier it is to sell to them. If they have heard about you or your information before you give them your sales pitch on the phone then it is easier to achieve a sale.

So how can I pre-qualify a lead? Offer a free phone consultation when you sell the free CD. The CD is like the pre-qualification process.

In the free consultation you have two goals:
1. Make the sale. This consultation is great for high ticket items that are over $1,000.
2. Help them by providing valuable information about what you sell or are doing. For example, if your CD is about goal setting then help them out with goals.

What if they don’t want to buy during the call? What should I ask them? If they don’t want to buy then ask them if the call was at least worth their time. 99% of the time they say “yes” because you gave them pertinent information that helped them out. You’re not just selling too them, but giving them great information as well.

Whatever you sell, your product or service is considered a “widget” that is going to solve some want or need that the customer has. So you can apply this process to whatever you sell.

This is about the pain-pleasure principle. Everything we do is to either seek pleasure or avoid pain. You have to give examples of how your product will get them out their pain and into pleasure. That’s all you have to explain to them, not even the details.

“How to Create and Sell a Product – Part III”

So have you accomplished the first six steps to creating a product? If not then get off the couch and get started. After you have accomplished the first six steps you can pat yourself on the back. But guess what? You’re still not quite done. There are three steps left. Let’s look at the last three steps in the process of creating your product.

Step #7: Turn your audio content into written content. You can accomplish this quickly by outsourcing the job to a freelancer on Elance.com.

Step #8: Decide on how you are going to package your product. Are you creating a workbook? Are you creating a free CD? Are you creating a package of items?

Once you decide what type of free CD you are creating than you have to get a professional cover for it. The guy that creates awesome covers is Vaughn Davidson and he owns the website http://www.killercovers.com.

Make sure you get the following:
1. You need a CD cover.
2. You need a web representation of your CD.
3. You need a title of your CD.
4. You need a picture of a hand holding the CD.
5. You need the actual CD cover you can print on the CD make sure this is 300 dpi. 300 dpi is a quality graphic.

Step #9: Let’s put the process all together. You create a product. You write a sales Letter. You get a great cover for the CD. You connect to your shopping cart so you can collect money.

So what should you do now? Here’s your homework.

Complete these four tasks now!
1.) You need to create your powerful presentation using the million dollar blueprint platform formula.
2.) You need to create and edit the audio for your free one hour CD.
3.) You need to write Vaughn at Killercovers.com so he can create the CD cover for you.
4.) You get the CD created and sell with your sales letter!

“How to Create a Product to Sell – Part II”

You’ve accomplished the first three steps by repurposing content, beginning with the end in mind, and filling out your order form. Congratulations! But you aren’t done yet. What are the next steps you need to take to create a product to sell?

Following are step #4 through step #6:

Step #4: Layout your product so you know what is going to be included and what it is going to look like. How can you do this? Try this exercise: Imagine that we’re sitting in a room and you have an hour to teach me about your subject. But before you begin, I’ll step out of the room for 20 minutes while you prepare. So write out the bullet points you want to cover during this preparation time. Then when I come back in the room you have an hour to present the bullet points.

Tip: Remember, you need to start off by telling them who you are and why they should listen to you.

Step #5: You need to have some kind of software to capture your audio. The cheapest, fastest, and easiest way is to have Sony Sound Forge Studio (Price: $70-$100). This program works very well and is user friendly. It is as easy to use as Microsoft Word. It let’s you edit it easily so if you goof up, you can edit out the mistakes.

You can also find free versions of audio software. Go on Google and Google “Audacity”. This is a free program that is similar to Sony Sound Forge. The only difference is that Audacity is in an .aud format which is not .mp3 or .wav format. So you’ll have to convert it by exporting it as an mp3 or .wav file.

You also need a microphone. Microphones range in price up to thousands of dollars. You can use a headset microphone for only $30. It is up to you. The important thing is to have a headset microphone so you can have your hands free. You also want a “USB” connection to your computer. You get a lot better sound if it is a USB port as opposed to the old fashioned microphone connection.

Step #6: Record your product’s audio or video portions. Sometimes your products are video tapes of your events or giving tours through your office. Or if you are demonstrating an exercise then a video is necessary.

Do you want to demonstrate things on your computer? Then great software to use is Camtasia Studio which lets you capture what is on your computer and narrate while you are doing it. It has great tutorials to help you out.

Tip: You can get these resources at www.techsmith.com for $400.

When recording audio, record chapter by chapter. Don’t try to have the entire book in one audio file.

“How to Create a Product to Sell – Part I”

Did you know that offering a free CD can earn you a great deal of money? You offer this free CD to your customers for only the cost of shipping and handling. With this free CD offer you can also offer a free bonus session with you on the phone. Wait, you say, why should I give all this away for free? The purpose of the free bonus phone session is to sell higher ticket items to your customer. Therefore, it is well worth it.

How do I create this free CD? What content should I put on it? The good news is that you can put whatever you want on your free CD. Just make sure that it gives pertinent information that your customer would value. You can create free CDs for everything from eBooks to home study courses to online marketing.

How do you get the content for your CDs? Use the content you use from presentations, what you talk about on the phone and teleseminar calls from your million dollar platform.

Why can you use this information? You can and should use this same information in the free CD because people will feel like they have heard it before and thus believe it more.

Tip: You can give this free CD to your sales force to train them how to sell your stuff.

Where do you get the information for the free CD? The content is created from the million dollar platform formula. You should have your million dollar platform scripted out already. If not, get started on it now!

So now how do you create the actual CD and product you are trying to sell on it?
Many people think creating a CD or a product is very hard when in fact it is easy. You don’t need thousands of dollars or a fancy sound studio. You don’t have to create or write the content yourself. It is easier then you think.

Following are the first three steps to product creation which help get you started:
Step #1: You need to be able to repurpose content. For example, take content that you have already created and use it for multiple purposes. This is the key to success online. This also lets people feel that they have heard the information before and believe you even more.

Step #2: Begin with the end in mind. What is the big ticket item going to be? What would you sell at the end? For example, are you going to sell coaching or a home study course? You need to know where you want to go and have end goals.

Step #3: Fill out your order form for the product. It is a lot easier to create something when you have the order form already developed. So create the order form before you create your CD.
