“How to Create an Information Product”

Everybody can create an information product in the form of an eBook, etc. You can accomplish this is in a variety of ways including:

1. Writing about what you know.

2. Interview experts and turn the interview into an information product such as an eBook, CD, etc.

3. Success by association. Find the most well known people in your niche industry. When you send an email about your product put these people’s names as well as yours on the same list. Subscribers will believe that you are an expert too since you are on the same list. This gives you instant credibility.

4. Create an eBook and PDF. You want both formats to reach more customers.

5. Create audio information products. Record your interviews, teleseminars, and presentations. Turn these into CDs and DVDs.

6. Many information products last forever. You don’t need to update the information. You write it once and sell it over and over. It is a great way for residual income that doesn’t require extra work. Especially, when you have affiliates market it for you.

What about audio products? Audio products are a great way to supplement your business income and are easy to create.

1. Visit your local radio shack. Look for a microphone and recording software.

2. Edit your audio files using “Cool edit” at http://www.cooledit.com

3. Duplicators. You can duplicate your content on CDs and tapes.

4. Use http://www.ifulfillment.com. They will send out your packages for you at an inexpensive rate.

Tip: You can repurpose your audio content by creating audio transcripts. You should take what you already have and figure out more ways to make money with it. For example, you can turn an eBook into an audio book. This will help you maximize the amount of money you can earn from the same content.

Tip: People are willing to pay more money for a home study course. So you can take the same content and put it in a three-ring binder home study course.

Tip: Up sell to your customer with additional products and offer value added bonuses all that revolve around the same content, but are presented in a different format.

Tip: You can outsource transcription of your audio files to freelancers on http://www.elance.com.

Tip: Teleseminars/teleconferences – These events provide a great deal of value to the customer. You can record them and turn them into an informational product.

“How to Create and Sell a Product – Part III”

So have you accomplished the first six steps to creating a product? If not then get off the couch and get started. After you have accomplished the first six steps you can pat yourself on the back. But guess what? You’re still not quite done. There are three steps left. Let’s look at the last three steps in the process of creating your product.

Step #7: Turn your audio content into written content. You can accomplish this quickly by outsourcing the job to a freelancer on Elance.com.

Step #8: Decide on how you are going to package your product. Are you creating a workbook? Are you creating a free CD? Are you creating a package of items?

Once you decide what type of free CD you are creating than you have to get a professional cover for it. The guy that creates awesome covers is Vaughn Davidson and he owns the website http://www.killercovers.com.

Make sure you get the following:
1. You need a CD cover.
2. You need a web representation of your CD.
3. You need a title of your CD.
4. You need a picture of a hand holding the CD.
5. You need the actual CD cover you can print on the CD make sure this is 300 dpi. 300 dpi is a quality graphic.

Step #9: Let’s put the process all together. You create a product. You write a sales Letter. You get a great cover for the CD. You connect to your shopping cart so you can collect money.

So what should you do now? Here’s your homework.

Complete these four tasks now!
1.) You need to create your powerful presentation using the million dollar blueprint platform formula.
2.) You need to create and edit the audio for your free one hour CD.
3.) You need to write Vaughn at Killercovers.com so he can create the CD cover for you.
4.) You get the CD created and sell with your sales letter!

Remember, the sooner you accomplish this homework, the sooner you will make money!
