Form Companies around Your Niches

When you find the right niche for your new online business, you need to ensure you own those visitors who visit your site. Ownership can only happen if you make a squeeze page. It is imperative that all of your niche website businesses have their own squeeze page aka opt-in page in order to capture your visitors. You want to capture your visitor’s names and email addresses in order for you to get in contact with them again so that you can offer them more products. You can even go a bit further and ask for their address to send them something in the mail. But this is usually done a bit later in the process in order to add that personal touch. A free giveaway that is considered valuable to your subscriber after they opt-in is always an excellent option at gaining more of their personal information. That way you can send them offers via physical mail which gives you a greater chance of having them read and respond to your offer.

However, you must remember, by building a niche site you are the expert and the master of your domain so to speak. Your visitors are looking to you for advice, support and assistance. They are serious about what they are looking for and your niche business should be as well.

Anyone looking for information online is eager for answers to their questions, that’s why they are looking to you for the answer. Once they find you and get to know you they can be very loyal customers. The only way and the best way to make them your customer and hopefully your lifelong customer is to contact them over and over again. The only way to do this is by capturing their personal information using an opt-in form. This form is the initial step in forming your company. Once you capture your customer’s information you have the key to wealth! As long as you market to them again and again and send them lots of good, solid information, they’ll be a customer for life.

Here are some other tips for making your squeeze page a success:

• If you’re using a background, the best colors to use on your squeeze page are a light grey or a white background.

• Black or maroon headlines I find produce the best results. So, make sure your sqeeze-page and sales letter pages use these colors for their headlines!

• Use good, professional direct response copywriting for your sales letters. Sales letter copywriting is an art form – a formula. And if the right formula is not used this can decrease your conversion rate. So, for top conversion rates, it’s best to have your sales letter professionally written by a results-oriented copywriter that produces high conversion rates for sales letters regardless of the niche.

If you follow these simple tips, you will definitely see positive results through your sales and your company will grow beyond what you ever could have imagined. Good luck!

“Flip that Website!”

You can purchase lousy websites for hardly any money at all. These websites might have a decent product, but bad copywriting and/or the original owner didn’t know how to run the business effectively. You can take over the reprints rights and copyright for this business and use top notch Internet marketing skills to earn more money.

When you buy a website, you will also have to transfer over the domain name. It can take a few weeks, unless you pay a fee and it will happen much quicker.

What was the risk of buying this website? There wasn’t any risk because the website was already making money. You can verify this by finding the actual sales. For example, if they have a Clickbank account you can ask to login to their Clickbank account and see their sales numbers. You can also check out their sales receipts.

Basically, you find a website that is making money, but the owner of the website is motivated to sell it. You buy the website and then sell it to somebody else who wants to make even more money with it. It is very similar to flipping houses in the real estate industry.

So once you buy the lousy website then you need to redesign it and rewrite the copy. This is similar to making improvements on a real estate property.

Tip: When you sell your website, sell it as a package. Make it a complete business in a box. For example, sell your computers with software already installed on them and include the customer’s files. Sell any tools that you need for the business. This will increase the selling price and earn you more money.

Tip: Sell items that people want to buy in a market that doesn’t have much competition. Use Internet marketing techniques to sell the items. You can always sell more or different items on the Internet in the future.

Tip: Go to http://ww.wordtracker.com to find out what people are searching for on the Internet each week. What they search changes throughout the week and year. For example, science fair projects may be searched for more in the spring. This can help you find websites to flip.

“6 Tips that will Drastically Improve your Internet Copywriting”

Are you working on your Internet copy for your Internet business website? Do you have the basics of Internet copywriting down, but need help tweaking it? If so, then you are in the right place because following are 6 Internet copywriting tips you can incorporate into your Internet copy.

Internet Copywriting Tips:
Tip #1: Put copy on one page. If you need more than one page then make sure you have them at a fever pitch before they go to the next page.

Tip #2: Put a cover graphic on your website for your book. This will increase sales. Also put graphics of your products.

Tip #3: If you really want to be successful make sure to get their snail mail address and phone number after you grab them online. It is good to send snail mail because there is less competition because more businesses are online now.

Tip #4: Use color on your website. Color can improve our response. In paper direct mail, color can become too expensive.

Tip #5: In paper Typeface – Headline is Times Roman. Body copy is in Courier. Courier looks more personalized.

On a website – Times Roman is hard to read in body copy. You want to choose a font that is easy to read on the computer screen. Use black as the main body copy and then accent the copy with red and blue.

Never put your words on top of patterns of colors. You need to provide a contrast of colors that is easy to read.

Tip #6: Use bold, underline, and CAPS. Make sure to limit the number of CAPS though. Avoid italic in body copy. Only use italics in a big headline.

Try using these 6 tips to tweak your website copy. One minor change can mean the difference between $1,000 in income and $100,000 in income.

Copywriting gives you your own identity. You can promote other people’s things through an affiliate program, but this won’t establish your identity. If you have your own copy then you can convey why people should buy from you as opposed to somebody else.

“9 Copywriting Tips for Top Internet Copywriters”

Following are excellent copywriting tips that top Internet copywriters follow:
Copywriting Tip #1: When you are writing copy, start with your “offer”. What are you going to offer? Who are you going to offer it to? An offer should convey how much the product is worth and how much you are going to charge for the product.

Copywriting Tip #2: Tell people the price of the product up front. Then substantiate the price. Give reasons why it is at a certain price. Examples include pointing out the price and value of your competitors.

Copywriting Tip #3: Tell people what the bonuses are in your offer.

Copywriting Tip #4: Provide scarcity and urgency. Tell people why they have to buy now. For example, have a time limit on your offer. Tell people what consequences will happen if they don’t buy your product right now. For example, let them know what they will miss out on. You have to get people to buy right then because any delay will substantially decrease the chances of a buy.

Copywriting Tip #5: Your Headline is critical. If it is ineffective then you can miss out on hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Five times as many people read the headlines as the body copy.

Copywriting Tip #6: On the average, ads with news are recalled by 22% more people than ads without news. Basically, people like helpful information.

Copywriting Tip #7: Photographs sell more than illustrations. Why? Because photographs are more believable.

Copywriting Tip #8: The length of your copywriting should be as long as it takes to get the job done and provide interesting information.

Copywriting Tip #9: Put your most convincing copy right up front. Hit people with your big guns first.

What’s the difference between Internet copy and regular paper copy?
Difference #1: The location and number of headlines is different.
The headline in a paper direct mail sales letter is usually on the outside of an envelope. It prompts people to open up the envelope because they are interested in reading more.

On a website, the headline includes the search phrase they used to find your website. Your website domain name is your second headline. A headline can also be the subject line in your email. Internet copy has many more instances of headlines.

Difference #2: Internet copy has to deal with browsers.
There are different browsers such as Internet Explorer, Netscape and FireFox. You need to make sure that your website works with all browsers.

“The Ins and Outs of Copywriting”

People on the Internet aren’t going to stay on your website for very long unless you grab their attention.

Myth: I don’t advertise because there are free ways to get something.
This is a myth because everything you do is advertising. Whenever you try to get people to do something, you use techniques in advertising.

Therefore, copywriting is not about writing properly. It is about selling. The purpose of selling is to get the prospect to understand that the product or service will solve their problem. This is the whole heart and goal of effective copywriting.

Exercise: Find sales letters, ads, and websites that are effective and have been proven to work well. Take these items and study them. Physically write out the copy on the ad. Why? This helps your mind understand why the ad works and train your copywriting muscles to repeat this format.

Here is sample copy from “The Lazy man’s way to Riches:”
Most people are too busy earning a living to make any money. I used to work hard. The 18 hour days, the 7 day weeks.

But I didn’t start making big money until I did less. A lot less.

For example, this ad took about two hours to write. With a little luck, it should earn me $50,000 maybe $100,000.

What’s more, I’m going to ask you to send me $10 for something that will cost me no more than 50 cents. And I’ll try to make it so irresistible that you would be a darn fool not to do it.

Another Version of the “The Lazy man’s
You think you’ve got problems? Well, I remember when a bank turned me down for a $200 loan. Now I lend money to the bank. Certificates of deposit at $100,000 a crack…

The purpose of writing down this copy is to understand the rhythm of what is successful. Find advertisements that are effective and write them out. Note the rhythm and flow of the copy. Note the choice of words and the images and feelings that they evoke.

The key is to not reinvent the copywriting wheel, but to model successful copywriting and adapt it to your niche, product, and service.

Tip: People who are successful in copywriting have created the model for you. Study good copy!

“Don’t Reinvent the Wheel: Model your Sales Letter Copy.”

Sales letters are vital for your business. Otherwise how would you sell your products and services? A sales letter has a certain amount of steps and pieces. For example, there are 15 steps to creating a sales letter.

A sales letter is like walking someone through the sales process without slapping them in the face by saying “Hey I’m selling to you.” Your sales letter should make customer want to buy the product.

Remember that when you write a sales letter you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, you can learn from copywriting that is already out there. One way to find out what sales letters are currently being used is to sign up for newsletters for Internet marketers and copywriters to see what their copy looks like. The purpose of this is to learn the marketing tips such as what kinds of headlines they use, how they ask for money, and what kind of P.S. they use.

Always research what other marketers are doing. Study what they are doing. Model and swipe. Don’t steal it, just model it. Great marketers know how successful business and sales letters are run and use that same format for themselves. You are stealing the format which is not the same as plagiarizing. So read, read, and read some more.

You don’t have to be a great writer. You just have to follow the model of successful copy.

It’s important to know that there are two different types of sales letters:
Sales Letter Type #1: “Regular” sales letters sell your products and services.
Sales Letter Type #2: A FREE CD sales letter that sells an item for the cost of shipping and handling only.

Tip: Remember the 80/20 rule. 80% of your customers will be garbage while the other 20% will bring in the most money.

So your task right now is to sign up for different email lists. Read and evaluate the emails and sales letters they present to you. Notice their copy. How did they write the headline and subheadline of the sales letter? What did the body of the sales letter look like? What did you like and not like about the sales letters? Then apply what drew you in to your own sales letter.

“The Secrets of Effective Copywriting.”

Copywriting is the master key to realizing the dreams you are chasing.

You must ask yourself this important question – “What outcome do you want that will make you and your business successful?” For example, do you want financial freedom? Do you want a flexible schedule? Do you want to give more money to charity? Write down one outcome that you want to happen.

The simplest way to get from where you are to where you want to go is to use the power of leverage. For example, you borrow money to buy a house. If you don’t pay your mortgage then you have to move out. This is the negative side of leverage. However, you can use positive leverage to your advantage.

Upside leverage, on the other hand, involves little risk. Examples would be to learn how to be more efficient and how to change the words in your copy so that it produces more sales for the same advertising dollars spent. An example would be to change a headline in your ad which doubles sales. This is a benefit of positive leverage.

Copywriting can bring you the life you desire. You can leverage your writing skills to make copywriting work for you. There is a formula for online success. Education married together with action and application is invaluable. This combination is worth its weight in gold. Investing in education that you can apply is priceless.

Natural copywriters don’t know all the rules, but they can still write words that make people take action. You want to write copy that makes people want to take action such as buying your product.

The value of good copy is extremely high. You need to know the difference between somebody who is grammatically correct and somebody that is a good copywriter. For example, somebody who is grammatically correct will write “They did well.” On the other hand, somebody that is a good copywriter will write “They did good.” For effective copy run away from somebody that has good grammar. Instead, opt for the person that writes “They did good” because it sounds more natural and language based.

You should have a set of standards to determine who you are going to learn from. Learn from copywriters that have garnered tens of thousands, even millions of dollars, for their clients based on their copy. Use these copywriting skills on your own website so you can rake in the millions of dollars as well.

Power Tools of Internet Millionaires

Dominating a market on the Internet requires a savvy mind. You need to know how to leverage your power. You can leverage your power through killer copywriting. However, copywriting alone will not shoot you to the top of the Internet market. You need two more tools in your toolkit of power. These two tools include knowing how to leverage the power of traffic generation and how to build a list.

Power Tool #1: Leverage the power of traffic generation.
Traffic puts people in front of your messages (copywriting). If you learn how to generate a massive amount of traffic then you are the King of the Internet. It only takes one traffic generation source to rise to the top. Become an expert on that traffic generation method and you will be flooded with offers for joint ventures.

The 17 sources of traffic generation that are profitable include:
Integration marketing
Affiliate marketing
Ezine or paid advertising
SEO
PPC
Teleseminars
Blogs
Podcasting
Voice broadcasting
Direct mail
Article marketing
Joint ventures
Viral marketing
Viral videos
Bonus traffic
Golden rule traffic – This is his new method. It relies on the core elements of a website and Autoresponder.

Don’t become overwhelmed by these methods. Don’t try them all at once. Focus on one method and work with it to its fullest potential.

Power Tool #2: List building is extremely important. List building is a combination of copy writing and traffic generation. With your list, you obtain targeted traffic on demand. A list enables you to drive thousands of people to your website. Your copywriting then prompts the website visitors to buy. Basically, when you send an email to your list, you will earn money!

You don’t have to learn copywriting, traffic generation, and list building all at once. You can create a joint venture with people that are skilled in the areas you are not. For example, you may have a list, but don’t have good copy writing skills. You can find a joint venture partner that has excellent copy, but doesn’t have a great list. They use your list and you use their copy. It is a win-win situation for both.

The Power of Copywriting

Too often Internet businesses chase trends instead of focus on skills development. The Internet will change and move much faster than you could ever move. Therefore, chasing each Internet fad that pops up could cause you to go in circles. To avoid this vicious cycle you need to ask yourself this question – Am I going to chase the ever changing technology on the Internet or develop core skills that will make me money on a consistent basis?

The correct answer is that you should develop core skills. What are these core skills? First, think of the adage that knowledge is power. This is not quite true. Instead, knowledge is “potential” power. Applied knowledge is true power. In other words, you should leverage your power to make money.

You need to work on skills that you can leverage. These skills are different from normal skills. Normal skills are skills such as Graphic design. For example, a web designer may have the skill to create a website. This type of skill is a “by the hour” skill. The web designer has to physically create new websites all the time.

In contrast a skill that you can leverage is one in which you complete the work once and are paid over and over again or exponentially for that initial work.

If you want to be extremely successful in the online business world then you need to master copywriting. (Or outsource your copywriting to a skilled copy writer.) Copywriting is a skill that can be leveraged.

Copywriting is salesmanship in print. When you write a sales letter you can use it over and over. You only have to write the copy once. A verbal sale, in contrast, is a sales technique that has to be pitched to each and every person.

Copywriting includes, but is not limited to squeeze pages, sales letter, emails, and Blogs. Copywriting is the foundation of all the money you make on the Internet. Copywriting can come from virtually anything including teleseminars.

How do you dominate your market? Provide the most interesting and relevant copywriting. You may think that you area is saturated, but a market is never saturated. Only uninteresting Internet entrepreneurs think an area is saturated. For example, you could send an email with a random subject line to hook in readers.

Unleash the power of copywriting and leverage the immense power it contains.

Ebay: What can you sell?

If you are new to Ebay then you are probably wondering what you should sell. Should you sell used clothes sitting in your closet or your car? You could sell everything you want. You would be surprised as to what people buy on Ebay. They will buy things that are broken, odd, and even disgusting.

Following are ideas for items that you can sell on Ebay:
1. Sell all your own things. Start off with selling your own items because it is a training ground in the beginning. You are building feedback, testing the system, and learning how to use Ebay correctly.

2. Sell other people’s stuff. Act as an affiliate so you can earn a commission on the sale.

3. Sell big ticket items. Big ticket items are things like Real Estate, jewelry, cars, and information products.

Ebay Quick Tip: Take a great picture.
1. Never use flash.
2. Use small file sizes. Big file sizes take too long to load.

Many Ebay users want to know what the top selling categories are on Ebay. Currently, the 6 largest categories on Ebay include:
1. Cars
2. Electronics
3. Clothing
4. Jewelry
5. Sporting goods
6. House wares

Ebay Quick Tip: The fastest growing category is Real Estate. The second fastest growing category is Information products

Ebay Quick Tip: People will buy the strangest things on Ebay. They will even buy broken items when you’ve disclosed that they are broken. It’s crazy! Reframe how you think about your old “junk”. Consider them “treasures” that you can sell to anyone.

Ebay Quick Tip: Great copy writing can sell anything. For example, a heart shaped potato sold on Ebay for $17.00.

Before you get started on Ebay you should know the basics. For example, you are allowed only 55 characters to write title, brand name, style, color, etc. Grammar and spelling are not important. Sometimes you will want to use common misspellings because people type misspelled words into the Ebay search feature. They might not find your product if it is spelled correctly.

Ebay Quick Tip: You can sell services on Ebay. For example, if you are singer you can sell your services for parties.

Use Ebay to build your database on any topic on any subject at any time. Sell big ticket items and build your database. If you place an ad on Ebay then you will have thousands of visitor flock to it in as little as 3 days.

Do you know these 3 Internet Business Secrets?

Internet Business Secret #1: Affiliate marketing
You can promote other people’s products through affiliate marketing. This is a great way to earn income. Affiliate marketing brochure points out the benefits of being their affiliate. Most brochures make it sound a whole lot better then it really is. For example, the brochure may say…

“It costs nothing to get started. You can get paid without having your own website. Earn commissions. Don’t have to store products. All you have to do is drive traffic to the website.”

This is all true only IF you know how to drive traffic to a website. The concept is great, but driving traffic to their website is usually difficult it you don’t know how. This is why very few people are successful at marketing other people’s products.

However, you can drive an intense amount of traffic to your affiliate’s website if you know how to use the article traffic system.

ARTICLE TRAFFIC SYSTEM:
Step #1. Article that you write or buy on the topic of the website or product. If you’re not a writer then pay someone else to write the article.

Step #2. Submit the article to Internet article directories. (www.submityourarticle.com and www.articlemarketer.com) The bottom of the article should contain your bio, a link to your website, and say that they can sign up for a free report or eBook by clicking on a link to the website. You can build a list this way because traffic will go to the website and sign up. Do this once a week.

Step #3. Take the same article and post it to your BLOG.

Step #4. Send the article in a newsletter. This will bring traffic to the website. You are receiving traffic from thousands of different places on the Internet. Your articles become viral as they travel around the Internet. You also obtain high quality links.

TIP: Technorati tracks Blogs. Technorati has found that there are at least 50 million Blogs on the Internet.

TIP: Use “WordPress” to Blog. Install “WordPress” on your website. It sits on your own server and can be optimized. You can have additional plug-ins. Traffic comes to your domain. Plus, it’s easy to use.

Internet Business Secret #2: Copy writing. Outsource copy writing if you don’t like to write or don’t have the time.

Internet Business Secret #3: Product creation. You should develop your own products, so you can keep ALL profit from the products. If you solely promote other people’s products through affiliates or joint ventures you will only earn part of the profit.
