Alternatives to PayPal

One of my students asked me "I've been using PayPal for my internet business and I feel they are a bit expensive, is there another service you suggest using instead?"

If you are using Paypal shame on you! Even though they process everything for you, I hate to PayPal to run any internet business. PayPal is good for running an eBay business for which it was originally created, but for an internet business they are not only expensive but seriously lacking.

The service that I recommend instead is PowerPay. Now, you need a few things in place in order to use this service, but once you have them set up it is a seamless solution. If you go to www.powerfulpromoter.com/onlinepayments.htm, I outline everything in detail there.

First, to transfer money online to your bank account, you need a shopping cart. A shopping cart makes the order forms, keeps up with the orders, and takes the payment information.

Second, you're also going to need to get a merchant account. I use is PowerPay.biz . However, just because you have a merchant account does not mean you can receive payments online.

Now, even though you have a shopping cart and a merchant account setup it still doesn't mean it's going to work together. So, you need one more thing called an internet gateway. The internet gateway that I use is Authorize.net.

That's how everything gets connected together. Basically, like I said, the shopping cart makes the order forms, keeps up the orders and takes the payment information. Then the internet gateway receives that information, runs the cards for you and then your merchant account receives the payments, pays you and puts the money into your bank account.

So, you really need four things. You're going to need the shopping cart (I use KickStartCart). You need Authorize.net, which is an internet gateway. You need a merchant account, and the merchant account I use is PowerPay. The fourth thing you will need is the bank account. I hope you've got one of those because that's directly where they're going to deposit the money.

If you need to set something like this up and get all the fees waived for your merchant account, then go to powerfulpromoter.com/onlinepayments.htm and you can basically get a free merchant account and a free internet gateway set up fairly quickly. If you are having some credit issues or something you're afraid will prevent you from getting an account, email me at mbacak@gmail.com.

Just tell me what your issue or problem is and I'll make a phone call to Judd Smith. Together, we will help you out and make that happen. They can just take it out of underwriting and get you approved a lot quicker. I've had somebody with seven foreclosures on their account and I was able to get them an account. Welcome to the good ol' boy's network. It's who I use, as well as other internet marketers like Jim Edwards, Armand Morin and others. Basically, any name out there on the internet that you've ever heard of, we're all using them. So I'd highly urge you to go and to make things happen from there.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Be a Friend – Follow the Best to Sell Your Product

If you have a product you want to sell to your list make sure that you build a special relationship with them. You want to be as personal as possible and communicate well to your audience. Let them know that you're real. Let them know that you understand them and what it is they want. Write to them as if you are writing to your best friend -- somebody you care about. Focus on the "you". Many poorly written sales letters have too much "me-me-me-me-me" and not enough "you-you-you-you-you." You want to say "you" as many times as you can in your sales letter so that more people give you money. They want them to feel as though you can relate to them and that you are speaking directly to them. Personalization of emails and sales letters make your prospects learn to trust you and therefore, want to purchase from you time and time again.

Model Your Sales Letter After the Best!

But although building a relationship is essential to growing any profitable business, modeling your sales letter after successful sales letters is a definite must! The biggest problem I see most people do is they don't model other people's sales letters after those letters that have been proven to bring in sales. I mean, there are sales letters out there that work. I often hear people say, "I want to do it my own way!" Well, don't do it your own way; do it the way that it works! Success leaves clues, and you want to follow those clues in order to perform well.

Testimonials:

You also want to ensure your sales letters have enough testimonials. Your testimonials should say more than, "This is an absolutely amazing product. JS."

Who is JS? Nobody knows who JS is. It sounds fictional – as though you made it up. Whatever you do never use initials or general statements in your testimonials. Be specific and use full names. You might want to say Jane Smith. For example, it could be; "Jane Smith, therapist, Atlanta, Georgia." You know, be as specific as possible about those individuals in your testimonials and it'll help increase your sales.

Your Sales Letter Close:

Your close is extremely important. At the end of your sales letter make sure that you have a strong close. You need to have a direct command. You want to use scarcity and/or urgency. You want to limit the availability of the product or the service. You want to maybe have a limited-time offer.

Know your audience, meet their needs and they will continue to seek your advice and be eager and willing to purchase the products you have available to them.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Do You Have a Winning List?

If you have a website business you already know the importance of having a list. Your list of prospects are those that you can email again and again in order to promote your offers and make sales. But how do you know if your list is good you ask?

I’ve heard a lot of people say that they have a terrible list. But what you have to realise is that it is not your list that is bad, it’s about how you approach your list that needs some improvement.

I always ask business owners who make these statements... “Have you tracked how many people actually clicked on your links? Do you know how many people got the emails? Do you know how many sales you had? Do we know how many impressions, or do you know what your open rate is?” People often are unable to answer these questions. But they fail to realise that the answers to these questions should be the basis upon which they build their list and make sales. Basically if you had zero sales there is a problem and it’s often not with your list.

The numbers you want to look at when it comes to emails are:

What’s your impressions? - If your impressions aka open rates are low, it means that your subject line or your deliverability needs improvement. I use Autoresponse Plus for my autoresponder email messages to my prospects. If you’re using Autoresponse Plus, you can use link tracking. It’ll track all of these things for you. If you’re using something else, you’ve got to figure out how that software tracks it so you can see the results.

What’s your click-through rate (CTR)? – Once again, check your deliverability. Your email message may need improvement.

What’s your sales? – If your sales are low, that means your sales letter is weak and needs improvement.

The biggest problem I see most people have is they don’t add curiosity to the subject line of their email. If your open rate and your impressions are low, that means that people are either not getting your email or your subject line is very weak. And so what you need to do is you need to build a better subject line.

Here’s an example of one of the ones that worked really well for me. It was actually about a tax attorney that I wanted to have on a tele-call. But I said, “My attorney wants to speak to you…” Now, that got some heads turning. Remember, there’s nothing different between a subject line and a headline. Add curiosity and you’ll definitely see an improvement in your CTR.

Another thing to consider is in order to increase your email open rate is not to exceed 50 characters per line. As long as you communicate with your prospect like they are your friend and you keep your emails short and sweet and then send your readers to the sales letter page you will see an improvement in your conversions.

Follow these tips and see your sales soar!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Grow Your List and Your Traffic with Article Submission

If you have a website online you know the necessity of providing useful content for your readers. But did you ever think that the content on your site could be made into articles and distributed all over the internet to bring you oodles of visitors – more than natural SEO? Well, it’s true. If you can submit at least two articles to an article site per day, you’re on target to make more money by leading more visitors to your site.

If you plan to use this strategy, just ensure that the articles you are providing are helpful to your audience. Make sure you’re offering valuable information that will help them.

Here are some article sites you can submit to:

· ezinearticles.com
· submityourarticles.com
· searchwarp.com
· ezarticles.com
· articlebin.com
· articlebeach.com
· articlehub.com
· articlegarden.com
· articlesphere.com
· media13.com
· visiblecontent.com
· articlegeek.com
· articlewise.com
· articlejoe.com
· alumbo.com
· linkgrinder.com

Posting your articles to these sites are the first step. But you’re not done yet. After you submit your articles to these sites you need to repost these articles on your own website. After I post my articles to my site I post them again on my blog, my myspace page, my squidoo lense and my other Web 2.0 social networking sites. These sites get a ton of traffic and are already ranked very well by the search engines so it’s a win-win by posting there.

After that I summarize the article and add that summary to an email to send to my list. Basically, I’m making that summary message number one of my autoresponder sequence. The full article will be accessed when my visitors click on the link I provide in the summary email. I do this over and over again with all of my articles - offering solid information to my list to ensure they continue to read my articles. But the best part of it all is that I can make money by leading them to my articles that have Google Adsense on it. That way I can make money even from my customers that don’t buy the products that I am promoting. It’s a very clever way to make money and I think everyone should be using this strategy. If you’re offering good, solid information, it’s always best to ensure you make money off of the majority of your visitors – even if they don’t buy.

So, if you’re not using articles to further monetize your site and draw in extra traffic you should start now! The interest in articles will never subside. People love knowledge and they are always looking for a way to take advantage of the information given to them. There’s no better or simpler way than providing articles to your list.

Submit some articles and begin to reap the rewards … with a little bit of work.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Building Your List and Meeting the Needs of Your Visitors

One of the only ways to build an online business is to build a list. After all, if you spend all of your money advertising to get customers or potential customers, why not try to capture those names so that you can make them offers on a continual basis. This saves you a ton of money in advertising but it also saves you a ton of time re-doing what you’ve already done. Why market to random individuals who will buy and never come back to your website when you can have your own list that you can market to again and again. As they say, it’s all in the list!

Well, if you have a list that you have grown for some time it is important to maintain your list and continue giving those visitors what they want.

If you have a decent list that you are selling to and offering information to it is important to offer those people exactly what it is they are looking for. You are the expert and need to address their concerns so that they continue to refer to you when they need expert advice in your particular niche. A great strategy to ensure you are offering your list the exact information or products they are looking for is simply by asking them. Send out a message to your list and ask them what their biggest problem is or what it is they are seeking. Combine all of your responses and review them. This ensures that you are giving your list exactly what it is they are seeking.

You may get some of the same responses and if so you know that a lot of your list seeks the same things. This is a huge opportunity to see what you need to offer them.

What do you do if some of your list wants one thing and the other half of your list wants another? Well, what you do is segment your list.

Never ignore your list. If half of your list is looking for one thing and the other half looking for another, continue to offer them the same tips and offers but you’ll need to segment your list. However, in order to segment your lists you simply make the offer to your main list and then have your readers choose if they want to act upon that particular offer. You’re basically creating sub-lists. These sub-lists are separate name-squeeze pages that will capture the names of those people from your main list that want to take you up on your particular offer – the offer you sent to your main list.

Don’t ever try to create several lists, autoresponders and businesses in the beginning, as you are re-inventing the wheel. Simply continue offering your main list the same thing and break up your list that way for easy manageability and to maintain your organization and peace of mind.

Joint Ventures and Affiliations

There seems to be much confusion over the differences between joint ventures and affiliations because they seem to serve the exact same purpose. In all actuality, they do! However, when you joint venture with someone, this is more based on your personal relationship with that person(s) versus becoming an affiliate where you really have no relationship with the organization you are representing.

So, is one better than the other? Not necessarily, but it can be more beneficial in certain situations to joint venture. One obvious reason would be if they don’t have an affiliate program set-up, you could work out a deal with them to sell their product or service for a set commission. In this case, you can usually ask for a higher commission because a lot of times you are the one that’s responsible for doing all of the promoting. I usually accept nothing under 50%.

Another reason is that sometimes companies prefer to deal with a small group of joint-venture partners. They believe that most affiliate programs produce little in the way of results with only a few affiliates generating a significant amount of sales. So, rather than wasting their precious time developing an affiliate program they focus their energies on building solid business relationships with partners they specifically choose.

By selecting their own partners it gives them two big advantages. First, it allows them to spend extra time with quality people whom they know will go out of their way to make sales. Secondly, by establishing these relationships they have more control over who is representing their company and products. They want people who will give good customer service and sell their products ethically. Affiliation does not give them these luxuries.

Can Buying PR Links and Press Releases Lead You to the Top of the Search Engines?

Purchasing PR links has become the norm all over the internet as businesses are desperate to expand their reach and gain more visitors. But before you decide to throw a bunch of cash into buying top spot PR links like PR1, PR2, PR3, it’s important for you to realize that these positions are highly competitive and quite pricey. However, although these spots seem like the logical choice you are better off purchasing PR links like PR5, PR 6’s and PR 7’s for greater visibility and away from the congestion of the top positions. These link positions will get you to the top much faster and you’ll have a stronger position in you niche due to the fact that you’re lower in PR but to the human eye a PR rank of 5, 6 or 7 has been tested to achieve better results than a rank of say PR4. PR rank is important but placement is a key factor!

So, for those of you who are looking to enter into a niche that is quite competitive, please don’t be discouraged. Remember, there are thousands upon thousands of sites in your niche that know nothing about SEO, rankings and traffic generation. Their lack of knowledge will give you a definite advantage! Many of these website owner’s sites aren’t totally optimized to combat or to win at the SEO game. They probably have no idea how to succeed online. You have the tools and everything you need to get to the top of the search engines. You have the knowledge to get a top ten ranking and you know how to get to the front page. Just use the techniques and strategies that I talked about and you should do quite well to make your site a success.

However, purchasing PR links is not the only way to rank well. You should also consider the strategy of using press releases to improve your rank as these can give your site credibility and help you jump to the top of the search engines because these press release sites rank extremely well.

If you decide to submit a press release do so on the top PR sites. I would highly recommend you using PRWeb Direct. PRWeb Direct costs about $250 to submit a press release. If you decide to use PRWeb Direct to submit your press release, just make sure you use keyword hyperlinks so that you can rank well for those keywords in your niche. If you don’t know how to do this PRWeb Direct has an area on their site where they explain how to do it. However, if you have no idea – no worries! For a few extra bucks you can get PRWeb Directs editors to help you to optimize your press release for the search engines! Now that’s what I call great service!
So, consider these tips if you want to be the top website in your niche!

Matt Bacak

Outsourcing – How to Find the Top Experts and Increase Productivity

If you’re an online website owner, you know how chaotic it can be maintaining and building the various aspects of your online business. None of these tasks should be ignored as they are essential to growing your business. But what can help is prioritizing your tasks by placing the most profitable ones at the top of your list. If one task is going to draw in more traffic this also means more customers and more business for you.

However, it is very likely that your list does not only consist of a few “to-do’s”. It’s most likely that your list is never ending. But don’t be discouraged. There is help for you!

Have you ever considered outsourcing the various tasks of your business? This is an excellent strategy at leveraging your efforts for greater profit in a shorter period of time. Just imagine if you had to do everything yourself? Can you see how long it would take? You could have been up and running with a particular aspect of your business if you didn’t have to learn the software – which took you a month to learn. Well, how about leaving that to the experts! You will find lots of masters of their own craft by using outsourcing websites like Elance.com. There are experts in almost every area you can imagine – from writers, to website developers to graphic artists... Whatever you need for your business Elance has the resources to fulfill them.

Just think about it, the biggest and most powerful companies grow and prosper by outsourcing various divisions of their business to the experts. Look at Donald Trump. You won’t find him sitting at a desk crunching accounting figures or plastering drywall. Nor would you see Bill Gates fixing bugs in his computers or cleaning bathrooms where he employs his billion dollar team of experts. He leaves the figuring out up to them. Both Trump and Gates know what they want and delegate tasks in order to get the job done. That’s what you need to focus on. Leave it up to the experts to take care of tasks you have no knowledge of or would rather not do.

To begin using the services of Elance simply sign up by clicking on the “Sign in or Register” button at the top right hand corner of their homepage and it’s fairly straightforward from there.
However, once you do decide to use Elance.com services, it is important to try and test your potential contractors. For example, this is what I do when I hire someone to design my websites... I say:

Here’s what the website I want it to be about, here’s some things about the website. Can you throw up a mock-up for me? Any good, professional contractor would be happy to do a mock-up for you for free to win the contract. They understand that in order to be hired you need to see a mock up first to ensure they can clearly interpret what it is you want and as close to your specifics as possible. You want someone who can do the job! The potential contractor will gladly throw up their design idea for your website based on the specifics you provided to them in the hopes that they’ll be hired. Once you take a look at all of your submissions you can then choose the one you’re most happy with. That’s the best way to outsource your job. This is how I find my best contractors.

Take the time to get as many bids as possible. But more importantly, test your contractors! This will ensure you properly leverage your time and money.

Matt Bacak

How to Attach a New Sales Page Link into an Email to Send to your List

Every successful website business owner knows the strength of their business is in their list. This list is so important because they are potentially the people who will make or break your business. If you build a good relationship with your list you will reap the rewards in sales and continued sales because your customers will trust you.

When building and maintaining your lists, you also want to ensure that the technicalities of your sales pages and offers are set up correctly when you email to your list. After all, you want your visitors to know you are a legitimate and professional business so setting up your sales pages to link to your emails properly is an essential skill of building and keeping your customers and potential customers happy.

Let’s see how it’s done...

So, you created a sales letter presumably in NVu, FrontPage, or some other program and now you want to publish it on the internet. The first thing you have to do is make sure that you save it as a .htm or .html file.

Now, for example, let’s say you named it salesletter.htm. At this point I would recommend that you put it into a new URL because I believe every single product should not only have its own sales letter, but also an exclusive domain.

Okay, so say you named your product XYZproduct. Try to buy a domain name that matches the product, for this example XYZproduct.com.

The next thing you want to do is go back and open the saved file and re-save it as "index".
Now, let’s say you registered your domain with Fatjack hosting. I want you to go to the main domain (whatever domain you created) where your auto-responder, sales and other stuff is and this time I want you to put in XYZproduct.com/cpanel.

Once you do that, you need to open it up. To do this it is first going to ask you for a username and password. After you finish entering these it will log you into the system. Look to the right side of the page for a link that says "add-on domain". Insert your domain (XYZproduct.com) there.

Please make sure that the domain you purchased (XYZproduct.com) has a dns that points to the location, for example ns1.fatjackhosting.com, ns2.fatjackhosting.com, etc. You may even want to call Fatjack and ask them where they want it to be pointed to.

Now, once you’ve done all that go to FileZilla and put in the URL, username and password. Next, just upload the index file, post the index file and go back to that domain. You should now see your sales letter before and you’re done.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

“Do you revel in excuses?”

What you settle for is what you get. You have to do whatever it takes to get to where you want to be. Most people just want to be rich, but rich people are committed to being rich. Are you willing to take the risks necessary to be with the people necessary to be in the situations necessary? The answer better be a resounding “yes” if you want to become rich. You can’t just want it though, you have to take action and be committed to your success.

Rich people have a vision. They go for it. They do not stop until they achieve that vision. You must continue until you achieve the goal. Why? You have to reach the goal because we are creatures of habit. If you give up before you reach your goal then you will give up too much in the future as well. You can’t say that you don’t have time or are scared of making a decision. You have to step forward and never ever give up.

Do you have a list of reasons why you are not succeeding in your Internet business? These reasons are actually excuses. Excuses are bad and will impede your success. You either have reasons or results. You will either be a person that revels in excuses or a person that revels in results. Which type of person do you think is successful? The person that revels in results should be your answer because this type of person doesn’t give up. They don’t list excuses as to why they are failing or are not as successful as they could be.

Your thought process are so crucial to your success. Most people do not focus on this mental component of their business. They neglect how they perceive and think about money and their business. They may think that this topic is frivolous, but that is far from the truth. People that are rich and have become financially successful Internet entrepreneurs focus on how they think about money. They have unlocked the secret to their success by modifying their inner money blueprint.

Your business is a reflection of not only your decisions and actions, but also your inner money blueprint. For example, let’s say that your mind has a preset level of success at $100,000. So you top out at $100,000 in income for that year. Your brain has been programmed to make decisions and actions all year long that will lead to $100,000 even though you think that you want to make $500,000. Your subconscious is that powerful.

Here’s a great example. Let’s say you want to buy a dress. You go to the store and find the dress. There is a purse next to the dress that is 25% off. The purse matches the dress exactly. You didn’t intend to buy the purse as well, but your mind tells you that the purse is a great bargain because it is 25% off. So you buy both the purse and dress.

However, you neglect to realize that you are $4,000 in credit card debt and shouldn’t buy the dress and/or purse in the first place. Your inner money blueprint is so focused on getting a bargain (the purse) that it will neglect the reality that you are in huge credit card debt.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

“Silver Spoon Not Required”

Many people believe that the top Internet business makers were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. This belief is far from the truth. More often than not, the Internet success stories arise from people that did not grow up with money. They were not given money to start off their business. They started with nothing and often went into debt trying to succeed. Therefore, don’t think that you can’t make it in the Internet business world if you don’t have any money now or are in debt. Anybody can make money online as long as they put their mind to it.

Many people also believe that the top Internet business makers earned piles of cash right away. They made millions doing nothing and it all happened over night. This is far from the truth. Many Internet gurus took years and went several thousands dollars in debt trying different business ventures. This is especially true when the Internet was a new technology to most people.

The good news for you is that these people learned from their mistakes. By observing and modeling what they have done that is successful, you will set own business up for success. Find out the business steps and decisions that rich entrepreneurs do. Find people that make money online and find out what they thought and how they work. You can model their methods and earn millions of dollars yourself.

Have you earned a great deal of money, only to lose it within a year? Do you often find that you have an average set point of your income? For example, do you always find that the average you earn (including highs and lows during the year) is $40,000? This means that your financial set point is $40,000. You are comfortable when you earn this amount of money. This set point is similar to the metabolic set point people have in their bodies. Your body will have a set weight that it likes to retain no matter how you workout and eat.

You can change your financial set point by working a blueprint for your money. Establishing and following this blueprint will lessen the concerns and arguments you have about money. “Tips and Tricks to Grow your Business”

Do you want to increase your business? The answer better be “yes”!

How are you doing your research and development? You need to look at how your competitors work in search engine optimization. You need to seek out programs like smart page that will help you utilize these victorious techniques.

A search engine is a big piece of software. If you put in the right answer to the questions that the search engines ask then you will get to the top of the search engines’ rankings. A smart page is a system that gives the search engines everything they want in a specific sequence that will move your website up to the top of the search engine rankings.

Now let’s look at testimonials. Testimonials can strengthen not only your marketing message, but your sales conversion. Testimonials are extremely powerful because they are comments from happy, satisfied customers. New customers are much more apt to believe happy customers than they are to believe your sales claims. So it is in your best interest to retain any testimonials you receive. Save those emails and phone call testimonials. You can use them in the future to promote your products.

What about Google? Google changes the rules constantly. Don’t always follow the rules. Break the rules and create your own rules. Your rules may or may not lead to success, but you will never know unless you try. This is the mentality behind the creation of smart pages. Smart pages constantly work to keep up with and use Google to its fullest advantage.

Use pre-promotion concepts. What are pre-promotion concepts? Let’s think about movies to demonstrate this concept. How do people promote movies? Movies don’t just appear out of thin air in the theatre one day. Instead, you will see trailers on TV and in the theatre that preview the movie. You will see the movie actors interviewed on talk shows. There will be publicity events to build anticipation for the release of the movie. This same pre-promotion strategy should be implemented in your Internet business.

How can you create anticipation? Let’s say that you are going to have a seminar. You can send out emails that preview the seminar. However, a very effective way to build anticipation for the seminar is to have teleseminars in the weeks leading up to the seminar. Have the speakers that will talk at the seminar speak on your teleseminars. Give teasers about what people will learn at the seminar. Give them a preview. Get them excited about the fact that the seminar date is approaching.

Do you have affiliate partners? You can send them teasers, offers, and emails about upcoming products. Get them excited about promoting your new product. Pretend that your product is a movie that is about to be released. Create hype about your product.

You have to spend money to make money. You have to invest in learning from the Internet gurus. Don’t skimp on learning the trade because you could lose out on millions of dollars. If you try to work through everything yourself then you up your chances of failing.

Matt Bacak

“Avoid these 3 Internet Business Blunders!”

Blunders abound in Internet businesses. Read on to find out three common blunders that Internet businesses face every day. Learn about and understand these blunders so you can avoid them.

Blunder #1: People create products based on fads. If you create a product based on a fad then your product will have an extremely short shelf life. If you want to keep your business afloat far into the future then you can’t rely on a product based on a fad. The key is to create products based on what your niche wants. You can always update your products, but don’t fall prey to fads because they go in and out of style quickly.

Blunder #2: People build just a website and not a business. A website alone is not enough. If you want to make millions and have longevity in the Internet business world then you need a business plan. Think of all the dot com website businesses that plummeted in 2001. These dot com website businesses didn’t have solid, realistic business plans behind them. Don’t let the dot com grim reaper come your way.

You have to engage in tax planning, growth considerations, and everyday tasks. The reality of a business plan must be in your Internet business. A triumphant Internet business must have a business plan. This is so critical that it bears repeating.

Blunder #3: People think that the only way to reach people is through the Internet. This is not the case. You can earn more money and obtain more customers by contacting people through direct snail mail and calling them on the phone. You can reach people through teleseminars. You can have coaching sessions via telephone. You can up sell and make massive amounts of extra cash by talking to customers on the phone.

You can also set up a Blog. You can podcast. You can sell your teleseminar and podcast recordings. The lesson is that you can reach customers in both offline and online manners. The more venues you use to connect with customers, the more profit you will earn.

“3 Reasons why Internet Business Fail”

3 Factors that Contribute to Internet Business Failure:
Failing Factor #1: People worry too much. People worry about every nook and cranny of the Internet and their niche. They overanalyze how to launch their product and run their business. They are perfectionists and try to think of every possible thing that could happen in their Internet business.

These people need to realize that business is messy and Internet business is no exception. Your business and product doesn’t have to be perfect, you just have to get started. Everyone deals with growth issues and makes mistakes. You just deal with these mistakes, learn, grow, and move on. If you don’t ever get started then you will never make any money. So get started now and skip the perfectionist tendencies.

Failing Factor #2: People think their product is the end all be all of their Internet business. This is not the case. The product doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter if your first product is an eBook or a home study course.

Find a niche that fits your desires and there is a huge need for your services. Look for niches where people are making money hand over fist. Find a built in crowd that is hungry for your product no matter what it is. You can find out what people are excited about by going to forums and message boards in the niche. You can find out what topics and products are hot. Make and sell those products.

Failing Factor #3: People don’t find a method of marketing thinking and stick to it. Many people want to learn and know everything. They learn marketing techniques from every Internet marketer under the sun. They will find out a great piece of marketing information, get started on it, but then become distracted by another marketing method. They end up not following through on any marketing techniques.

Therefore, you need to focus your marketing experts. Seek out an Internet marketer that is credible. Study what they say and implement it before you incorporate any other marketing techniques. Your chances of success will exponentially increase if you follow through one step at a time.

“6 Massive Benefits of Attending Seminars”

What are the massive benefits of attending seminars?

Seminar Benefit #1: You learn new techniques. You can meet and learn from the Internet gurus in a face to face setting. You may already know some of the information presented at the seminar, but if you learn just one new nugget or idea that will help you in your Internet business then the seminar was worth it.

Seminar Benefit #2: You will realize that there are things you didn’t know that you didn’t know. You will listen to speaker bring up topics that you haven’t thought of. You will listen to fellow seminar attendees talk about problems that you haven’t encountered, at least not yet. You can learn from their mistakes.

Seminar Benefit #3: You can figure out how to solve problems from your fellow seminar attendees. People at seminars want to help each other. They will discuss the problems they have been plagued with in their Internet business and how they solved them. They are happy to help you through any problems you have. You should also be generous with your suggestions as well.

Seminar Benefit #4: You can set up joint ventures and build relationships during off times. You can network during the meals and after hours. People will trust you more, and vice versa, when you meet in person. You can discuss possible joint ventures in a productive setting. Meeting in person in this manner always trump sending emails and calling potential joint venture partners on the phone.

Seminar Benefit #5: You are energized after seminars. You network with people who could be potential joint venture partners. Plus, you hang out with people that are like you. They have the same goals, deal with similar problems, and want to build relationships with you.

Seminar Benefit #6: Seminars are an excellent investment in your Internet business future. Nothing compares to talking with Internet entrepreneurs face to face. You can absorb and learn far more information during a seminar than you can simply reading books. You can network like crazy.

Which seminars should you attend? Top Internet millionaires constantly attend seminars every year. They realize that seminars are extremely important and should be an integral part of your learning experience.

“Do you have an Internet business model?”

If you want to take your business to the next level you have to do more than you are doing right now. This doesn't necessarily mean working harder. It means working smarter. You can work smarter by finding out what the Internet business leaders do on a daily basis. You need to find out what they have done that has worked and follow this model.

Many people think that if they have a website and eBook then they are set. They fail to realize that you need a business model for your Internet business. The business model does not simply consist of your eBook. Your Internet business model must include ways to market your product on the Internet, plan for growth, and include diverse streams of revenue.

How can you create an Internet business plan? Let's say that your first product was a DVD that you produced yourself. What do you do next? The first task is to find people that are rabid for your DVD. Find people that are interested in the topic that you cover on your DVD.

Also make sure that your audience has money to spend. This audience needs to perceive value in your DVD so they will spend money on it. To help convince your audience that your DVD is a great buy you can demonstrate what they will achieve and gain after viewing the DVD.

The next step is to not rely on your DVD alone. You need to produce additional products. For example, there are people that are interested in your topic, but don't prefer the DVD format. They may be interested in experiential learning. You could create a home study course based on the material in the DVD. This diversifies the range of products you have to offer. This range will earn you more money.

A major mistake that many new Internet businesses make is that they focus solely on creating eBooks. Their eBooks include topics that encompass a wide range of topics. Usually the topics are so different from each other that they won't satisfy their target niche audience. Instead, they can repurpose the information in their original eBook into products like DVDs, home study courses, teleseminars, and special reports. You will have a diverse product range that is of much more interest to your target audience.

Many people fresh on the Internet business scene also charge far less than they should for their products. For example, let's say you ask a budding Internet business owner if they should send their comprehensive eBook for $47 or $97. What do you think their answer will be? Most likely they will say that you should sell the eBook for $47 because nobody will spend $97. This answer is usually incorrect. Experienced Internet entrepreneurs know that people will pay $97 for eBooks.

The big wig Internet entrepreneurs know that you should sell higher ticket items because you have to sell fewer of them in order to make more money. Plus, you should also make money in the backend through up selling.

“You’re not perfect!”

You have to realize that you are not perfect. This may seem like a hard pill to swallow especially if you are a classic overachiever. However, realizing that you are not perfect will save you a lot of time and heartache. If you are not perfect then you don't have to worry about trying to be perfect or achieving a level of perfection.

Don't worry about making mistakes in your Internet business because they are inevitable. Don't let the fear of rejection or failure stop you from doing the tasks necessary to build your Internet business and earn more money. Realize that you can learn from mistakes and move on. Often these learning experiences are the most valuable. So get out there and try.

Did you know that uncomfortable feelings are actually a good sign? It can give you the impetus to change and grow. You should embrace these feelings of unease. You have to feel uncomfortable before you can feel comfortable.

For example, you may think that attending a seminar costs too much money. While it may cost more money than you can afford at the time, you have to think long term. The uncomfortable feeling about the price will go away when you find the investment worth it down the road. By going to the seminar you will learn techniques and meet people that will enable you to earn more money than you ever thought possible.

Think about it this way. If you don't go to the seminar then you will stay at the same level. You'll waste time going nowhere and become frustrated. A side result of no action is that you will experience more uncomfortable situations in the future because you missed out on the benefits of attending the seminar.

Don't live in regret. Take action on opportunities that come your way. Say "yes" to new experiences and you can revel in growth, opportunities, and results that far exceed your initial dreams. Push yourself. Step out of your comfort zone every day.

Matt Bacak

“Do you go to the Internet Millionaires’ Gym?”

People form habits and habits form futures. For example, did you know that your top five financial habits can predict your financial future? Yes, it's true. Take a look at what you do financially and you will see its ripple effects in your financial situation.

In life you are consistent or nonexistent. Internet millionaires stick to their business no matter what obstacles or successes come their way. Think about how people join a gym, work out consistently for two months, and then never go to the gym again. Internet millionaires' workout at their "gym" consistently and never stop, unless they retire.

One of the biggest differences between successful and unsuccessful people is that successful people do things they dislike. They are willing to take the time to tackle tasks that they don't really want to do, but know they have to in order to take their business to the next level. You can stretch yourself by doing one thing each day that you don't want to do. Pick something that you don't like to do, but it would move your life and business forward. If you accomplish these undesirable tasks then you can enjoy the reward of a successful Internet business.

Your Internet business will never outgrow you. Your business growth is dependent upon your effort. You have to make a commitment to yourself and your business if you want to ramp up your business victory.

You have to overcome procrastination. The number one way to overcome procrastination is to take action. You can't have procrastination and action at the same time. You have to take action and do things that you don't want to do, but know that you have to accomplish these tasks in order to build your Internet business and earn more money.

You also have to push yourself to do things that you are uncomfortable with. For example, you may have a huge fear of public speaking so you avoid standing up in front of a crowd. However, your rational business mind knows that you could triple your income by participating in public speaking events.

Therefore, you have push yourself and get out there. You will most likely be extremely nervous, but the good news it that usually the first time you do something is the hardest. Once you have spoken in public then you can gain confidence. This will diminish your resistance against public speaking and help you grow your business.

“3 Reasons why you aren’t living your dream.”

What are the 3 biggest problems in going forward with your dreams, goals, and desires? Let’s look at numbers first. Did you know that 97% of the world isn’t where they want to be in life? There are several reasons why this is the case. Let’s look at three reasons.

Reason #1: People want things to be perfect. Things don’t have to be perfect. Instead, you should strive to simply get your business going. If you try to be perfect then you will delay your business success. You can’t wait until things are all perfectly in place because they never will be!

Look at your own Internet business. What aspects have you been dragging your feet about because you want them to be perfect? Have you spent countless weeks or even months tweaking your website? Have you been indecisive about which marketing products to buy? List what you have been indecisive about and find out if it is because you are looking for the perfect solution. Don’t focus on a perfect solution. Instead focus on choices that can get your Internet business started right now.

Reason #2: People have too large of goals. Have you jumped into the Internet business world because of the millions you could earn? The answer is of course. Seeing Internet entrepreneurs make millions of dollars is very tempting. However, you will shoot yourself in the foot if you focus on making millions right from the get go.

Instead, you need to create an action plan that helps you achieve smaller goals. Focus on making your first dollar and then increase the size of your goals accordingly. This goal structure will increase your chances for success. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was the Internet business of Internet millionaires.

Reason #3: People don’t celebrate their small victories. You need be your own cheerleader. Avoid people that are negative. Surround yourself with people that will cheer your efforts no matter how large or small.

Every level of income demands a different “you”. Every single different level of income requires a different type of person. The person can always be you, but your mindset and actions have to match your level of income. For example, think about who you need to be around in order earn $200,000 or $1,000,0000. What tasks should you engage in? What confidence level do you need?

“Do you know the secret aspect of success?”

99% of the time Internet entrepreneurs focus on the business tasks of their Internet business. For example, they focus on setting up their website and marketing. They spend hours discussing search engine optimization techniques. They ponder which seminars and teleseminars to attend. They seek out joint venture partners. They create products. They test and tweak their website. They follow their business numbers.

While all of these business duties are necessary they don’t take into account one very important aspect. They neglect the most powerful part of their Internet business. What is it? The answer is their mindset. People need to have a mindset that sets them up for success and thwarts any failures they experience. Your mindset is at the heart of your success or failure. All of your business duties are affected by your mindset whether you realize it or not.

How can you have the right mindset? To be successful, accomplish your goals, and achieve your dreams you need to believe the following:

Greatness always starts by saying “yes” to an opportunity.

Amazing things can happen if you are open to new experiences.

Passion ignites excellence.

Your dream is never over until you quit.

There is something inside of you that says you have greatness inside of you and that you should release it to the world.

Nothing great has ever been achieved without stretching yourself. Don’t be idle and stay in your comfort zone. If you want to experience new levels of success you have to step out of your comfort zone.

When you start saying “yes” to life more things will start happening for you.

If the dream is big enough the facts don’t count. In other words, if you are passionate about achieving your dreams, goals, and desires you will continue to work at achieving your dream no matter what happens. Obstacles will not stop you. They may just be a minor speed bump and you will overcome them by doing whatever it takes.

Do you have the right mindset? Be honest.

Matt Bacak
