Evaluating if A Business Idea is Worth Your While

If you are looking to establish a business partnership or seeking out a business opportunity, we all know how important it is to look at how much money you are going to make. However, there are also other things that must be considered in accordance to the lifestyle you want to live.

A very important key point to think about is do you even have the energy to focus on this? Whether you’ll be selling affiliate products, doing joint venture deals or whether you want to start your own website with the plans of building an empire… You need to really think about how much time and energy you want to commit to this project.

As you know opportunities come our way all the time. This of course happens to some people more often than others. But the question is how often do these opportunities present themselves? Another thing you need to think about is are you willing to take on this new opportunity or let it pass while you wait for the next one. When you are thinking of accepting or taking on the next project think about the amount of money you could make. Is there a lot of money to be made?

But what’s even more crucial is asking yourself this question – what is your fastest path to cash? Is this going to be something that’s going to accelerate your vision? Or is this going to be something that is going to steal from your time and your energy? It is important to think about these things before you commit yourself.
Not only should you be thinking if this is your fastest path to cash. But what you also need to think about is, is this my fastest path to long-term cash? You need to evaluate what is important to you. Do you want to make a quick buck in the interim or do you want to have money coming in long-term for this particular project? These are definitely some things you need to consider.

Another question you should ask yourself is, is this going to suck my time and energy away from me and spread me too thin? How much time are you willing to dedicate to this? Those are some good questions you’ll need to ask yourself when you make big business decisions. You need to look at the bigger picture.

But I can tell you this, if you are willing to take the time and effort and know that the opportunity is lucrative, you need to take the bull by the horns and run with it. Who knows how big it can be in the end.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

The A9 Process of bringing more traffic to your website – Step 9

We’ve finally reached the last step of our A9 Process. I hope you’ve gone over all the previous steps. If not do that now before you read this last step so you have a clear understanding of the process.

For Step #9 we’re going to take all of this content again and post links back to it -to different social networking and social bookmarking websites.

There are tons and tons of social networking and social bookmarking websites out there and these are all considered authority sites, just like Squidoo.

What this does is it gets a massive amount of great backlinks to your website that the search engines are going to see and spider. This raises the value of the search term for your website, no matter where that site is in its rankings. So, we put these links back to your website, we put content in there like your article and stuff like that and then it actually pushes your website higher in the search engines.

These authority sites are saying your site is about “this”, which is based on your keyword. One of my keywords is “internet marketing tips”, so the search engines will rank me higher for that particular term.

So, that is it. The A9 process is finally complete!

It’s pretty easy to set all this stuff up. It’s just like creating blog posts on most of these sites. You can literally just go in, copy and paste stuff in, hit go, and it creates everything for you. You don’t have to sit there and work all this HTML magic. It’s a fairly simple process but it just takes a little time.

To give you an overview of how long this process could take you depends on whether you outsource it or do-it-yourself. When you outsource it, you have to micromanage people because if you’re going to have several different outsourcers you need to make sure that they’re all accountable for doing your stuff. If you’re doing them yourself, the process could go a little smoother, but it’s still going to take time just to stumble and bumble through all this stuff until you become better at it.

It takes about 28 hours per submission to submit this stuff. Outsourcing could take three and a half hours per submission. Obviously, these times can drop, but the point is, how much is your time worth?

Now, what if I told you that a company called Traffic Magicians would only take you one hour a month to get everything done no matter how many submissions you did? Sound like something you would be interested in? If so, go to TrafficMagicians.com to learn more.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

The A9 Process of bringing more traffic to your website – Step 6

Let’s review what we have done so far. We first started off writing good quality 350-500 word articles. We then submitted these articles to the various submission sites. Next, we repurposed and modified the same content into press releases and submitted those. After that, we took the same content and made it into professional videos. We submitted those.

Now, we’re going to take the audio that was in your video, which your professional voiceover person did, as well as your call to action, and podcast it for you.
The cool benefit for podcasting is that there are literally over 200 million Apple iTunes users searching on iTunes every single day. Now, although Apple iTunes likes video, it is really an audio search engine, just like YouTube is really a video search engine. So, if you don’t think 200 million is a lot of people think of adding yourself to other different audio search engines. That’s all you’re doing here is you’re just placing the media that these search engines like.

So what we do is, we actually take that audio and we create you a podcast channel and then get you on iTunes. What that’s going to do is it’s going to put you into another search engine that’s going to get you even more traffic. Plus you can get back links from that because it’s an RSS feed - meaning that it’s constantly updating. It’s like a blog. You’re going to constantly see this updating in Google or in all of the other regular search engines simply because it’s like new content coming in.

Pretty amazing stuff when you think about all the techniques we use to generate a huge amount of traffic. The best part of the A9 process is it’s not a bunch of smoke and mirrors that will get you banned and the effects of using these techniques will last indefinitely because the media we are using has been around forever and is not some passing fad.

If you haven’t done so already, make sure you go over to DirectTrafficGeyser.com and check out what we have to offer. We have done our best to help you in this whole process and we have arranged special pricing on all this stuff, in case you don’t have the time to do any of this yourself. It will be one of the best investments you ever make in your business.

Matt Bacak

Google Alerts Plus Blogging Equals Traffic

Now if you’ve ever wanted to see what people were saying about you online as well as see who is linking to you all you have to do is subscribe to Google Alerts. You can subscribe at http://www.google.com/alerts . Basically, what you can do is whatever niche you are in you can type in the word that you’re monitoring online to see what is new. In my case I may use the word “internet marketing”. And if you are established in the industry of online marketing all you have to do is place your name in the box to allow Google Alerts to update you whenever your name is mentioned online. This is what I do.

In order to find out who is talking about me on their websites and blogs I have set up Google Alerts to alert me whenever my name is posted. I simply type in my name in the “search terms” box and then enter my email address. After I do this, Google Alerts will notify me through email anytime my name is mentioned online.

I mean, I could see everything that’s happening and that gets picked by the search engines when it comes in. So this alert comes in and I see it. I can see whenever somebody is blog posting about me. Actually, after we did the event in Singapore, everybody was blogging about it. It was so amazing. I saw so many mentions of my name on Singaporean blogs! But it’s not only flattery that boosts your ego when you see how many people are blogging about you, but it can also boost your traffic. How you ask? Well, what I do is I go to these blogs where someone has posted something about me and I go to comment on a post. The funny thing is is that a lot of times people are surprised because they never expected me to post to their blog.

There are two reasons I do this... Basically, one reason is to acknowledge that I noticed it and to let them know that, hey, I see everything that you’re doing. But I also do this in order to get a link on their blog to point it back to my page. This is an excellent traffic booster!

And so I was doing that, I started noticing that this really works very well in getting traffic coming from other people’s blogs to my pages, particularly my squeeze pages.

So, if you want to get more traffic but also want to be ahead of the game and know everything that’s going on in your niche, use Google Alerts to keep you up-to-date and to help you grow your business.

Matt Bacak

Limiting, Limited Time Offers

Some people have asked me how they could get their website to display a one-time offer which, if someone were to return to the page would no longer be valid. So, basically if a person visits the special offer page and does not buy the first time and tries to return to the page later the offer will not appear again .

If you wanted to do this it would require some sort of script that would track the ip address of the user or something to that effect. The only place I can think of to get this would be a company called HotScripts. They may or may not have this particular script, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.

I personally, do not use scripts. What I do instead is say something like “this offer will only be available for a limited time, so hurry on over and pick up yours today”. I won’t say if you don’t order it now, you will never be able to get it. I just try to use words to create that sense of urgency that will hopefully cause people to act fast.

Usually I use my one-time offer to up-sell, where they’ll be able to get something else while they’re ordering, but I don’t have the offer go away because in reality, the majority of the time, if somebody comes in once and doesn’t buy, the likelihood of them coming back is not going to be as high. If they do return, then I just let them get it. I don’t have any problem with that.

A lot of times, especially if you are trying to sell a high value item, you also have to give the reader a chance to think it through to see if what you are offering is actually something that they need. High pressure sells does not work because it increases the amount of returns when customers realize after ordering that maybe it isn’t something they want. This creates more work for you.

Always try to be as open and as upfront as possible with your customers and this will build their confidence in you as well as your credibility in the industry.

Matt Bacak

Creating a Blog Video

Producing your own blog videos is a great way to gain interest for what it is you are offering – whether it be a service or a product. Blog videos are contagious! They can be watched by one person and that person passes it on to several other people they think may be interested. It can also be posted on one site and viewed by thousands that landed on your particular website. Talk about viral marketing!

So, how do I achieve my success with my video blogs? It's pretty simple. It just takes proper planning and solid implementation.

The latest blogger buzz is blogging from YouTube. Basically if you're a video blogger, you can upload your videos directly to Blogger.com blog platform. You can easily post your YouTube videos to your blog because Blogger makes it fairly easy for the non-techie.

Anyways, all you need to do to set up your YouTube account to post videos to your blog using the share button. Usually you'll enter your blog information once, and then once you click "share" from any YouTube video page, it will be available to the masses.

Let me explain even exactly how I do this. First of all, you can use Blogspot (Blogger.com), which is a free hosting service. You simply go inside your Blogger settings where it says "Publishing." However, I choose to publish via FTP. You can actually do the same by creating a custom domain so that you can point your own registered domain to your blog. That's exactly what I do.

So, it'll ask you, what is the FTP server? So let me give you an example. You can't do this because you're not going to know my username and password, but my example is this...

My FTP server is ftp.MattBacak.com, so you want to do ftp.yourdomain.com. And then it says, "What is your blog URL?" Well, since my blog URL is actually my actual URL, I just typed in my URL, so it was http://www.mydomain.com. And the next thing it says "FTP pass." Well, FTP pass is actually – is a forward slash, that's all I put there. It says "Blog index file." The file name is index.html. The reason is because if the file already exists on your server it'll be overwritten. So I am having my main page, that page is specially designed for my blog so I want it to always be the index page. Now it says, "Feed file name" and then they'll put the file name there. After that it says, "FTP information" – that's where I put my username and my password and then I pushed that and that's all I did. Now my video blog is up and running and I can continue to submit more videos as I create them.

Set up your blog account at blogger or publish via FTP. Whichever you choose, as long as you make your videos and publish them, your videos will become a viral machine and you'll start to see further growth in your online business.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

How to Segment Your List Using Autoresponders

If you have a website and are using autoresponders to capture your audiences contact information, then commend yourself as this is a huge accomplishment! Most online websites fail to see the value of an opt-in form on their website. Opt-in forms actually make a business plan work and it is a definite requirement for growing any business online.

Your list is a goldmine and you have to know what your readers want. But your main concern is to capture names and send your list information. Although your opt-in page lists bullet point benefits of what you have to offer your visitors, you can do more with your list. You can segment your list. Segmentation allows you to broaden your product selection and allows you to offer more products to help increase your sales.

So exactly how do you set up your autoresponder message sequence?

There is a seven sequence rule I follow. You should think about sending seven messages to your list. But remember, this sequence of emails is sent every few days. Send some messages every two days then five days later then back to two days later etc. You want to do this so that your subscriber never expects your message. You want to surprise them, keep them on their toes and keep them interested in what it is you are offering them. Make sure you are offering valuable content so that your reader always anxiously awaits your next email. You want them to feel that you are giving them extremely helpful information that they simply cannot find anywhere else. However, it is also crucial that the emails you send them on the third and seventh day should be sending them to a sales letter squeeze-page. Remember, on these days you are selling to them. This strategy has been very successful whenever I implement it so I suggest you also implement this strategy in your online business.

When you send these emails on the third and seventh day of your seven email sequence, the reader can then be sent to another squeeze-page and at this point they'll be entering a new autoresponder sequence that segments them even further. I use this simple strategy to segment my list and you should use it too in your list segmentation. But you should note that these are also short content email messages created to prompt your reader to click on links placed in the email. Your links will always lead to a sales page for a product or service you are offering them.

That other autoresponder sequence (the second squeeze-page sequence after they enter the first sequence) that I'm sending them to is going to be a message sent to them every single day. Basically, with these messages, I'll take pieces of the copy – maybe I'll take a paragraph out of the copy, I'll throw it into message 1. I'll take another paragraph of the copy and I'll throw it into message 2. Take another paragraph of the copy and throw it into message 3 and so on.... For example, if I have five testimonials, I might write an email that says, "Five reasons why you need to get this." Reason 1 is testimonial 1, reason 2 is testimonial 2, and so on and so forth. And then each of those emails will have a link back to the actual product so the reader can go buy the product.

List segmentation is necessary to expand and diversify your business. Why not take a look at your autoresponder sequence to make sure you're offering the most you can to your audience.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Using Videos to Grow Your Business

Taking your business to the next level is very doable especially if you consider adding video advertising to your marketing. Now when I say advertising I don't necessarily mean blatant in-your-face advertising. I mean showing what it is your business has to offer, whether it be services or tools or just offering information to your audience. These all can be considered forms of advertising. It gets your message across and can do it extremely quickly.

Video is viral. This visible medium can take your business to the next level because videos are so contagious. Consider YouTube.com and other video sites like Yahoo Video, MSN Video, Google Video, Brightcove, Mochila or Blinkx and others... These sites all have a huge following and if you place your video on any of these sites you are bound to see your traffic increase.

Communicating with your customers and potential customers with the use of video can add a fresh perspective to the always common simple website text. Video is dynamic, fresh and can be very informative in a matter of seconds. It saves your visitor time and also adds an intriguing twist to the regular static text online world.

Here are some tips to consider when adding video to your website:

1.First ask yourself if the video will add sales to your website. Your answer should be a definite yes!

2.Will you make the video yourself or have a professional produce it for you? There are a lot of fairly inexpensive video devices available that can produce good quality videos. Consider your market. Is your business extremely professional and targeting top notch clientele? If so, perhaps hiring a professional videographer is the answer. However, if your market can handle a more laid-back casual video style then you may be able to be your own personal videographer!

3.Do you have the expertise to produce, upload and host the video for your website? If not, perhaps you'll need to invest some time or possibly invest some money into educating yourself. There are also a lot of online resources available that can train you on how to add video to your website for free. But make sure you get good solid information that will make your business stand out from your competitors!

You must also consider that like with anything on the internet, marketing is one of the main factors in expanding your business. Why not test out video on your website and see the response. Online video is now in its infancy and other businesses are catching on fast. Make sure you're ahead of the game by adding video to your online marketing efforts so that you too can reap the rewards with increased sales.

Warmest regards,

“The NET- Marketing System – Step Two”

Remember, the 3 Step Net-marketing System:

N – Niche

E – Expert

T – Target

Let’s look at the second step.

Step #2: Establish yourself as an expert in that niche. Learn everything you possibly can about your niche. Know the audience. Know their problems. Know the competition. Become an authority within your niche. Read everything you can about your niche. Discover and create solutions to their problems. Focus on the problems. Focus on how you can solve these problems.

Attend meetings, seminars, and talk to people on the phone that are in your niche. The more you practice these skills, the easier it will become and the more you will become. Be generous and be helpful. People will be more apt to help you if you provide reciprocal services and establish a relationship.

How do you create your product? First make sure you have done the research and have identified the problems in your niche. Speak with other experts in your niche. Interview them and record the interviews. Complete market research about products already available on the market.

You can create an eBook from these interviews and market research. You can turn these interviews into CDs and home study courses as well. Essentially, you can provide informational products that can be presented in a wide variety of formats.

Tip: Don’t be shy. Get out there and meet people in person or talk to them on the phone.

Once you create your product than it’s time to get testimonials. You want people to try your product and give their comments on it. Testimonials are powerful marketing tools that will convince future customers to buy your products. Testimonials build credibility. Testimonials can be created for any niche out there. Don’t skip testimonials otherwise you will lose out on thousands or even millions dollars of profit.

You can approach people for testimonials through the phone, snail mail, and email. You can meet them at seminars and conferences. You should ask experts in the niche as well as a typical customer.

What should you say in the testimonial request? Ask them if you could send them your product and if they could use it and provide a testimonial.

Also, while you are working on acquiring testimonials, you can create your website.

Also, spend time answering questions in the newsgroup for your niche. Be generous about answering questions, but do not just tell people to go to your website. If you only advertise your website then you will be kicked out of the newsgroup. The purpose of the newsgroup is not to be an advertising board, but to provide free information and discussion about your niche. However, you can include a link to your website after your name. Just make sure to carefully read the rules of the newsgroup to ensure that you are following them properly.

“11 Tips for Joint Ventures”

Law of Attraction vs. The Law of Action – Which is more important?
Both laws are important. Every morning you should focus on what your goals are and then take action.

One major action you can take is to set up joint ventures. There are a few things to keep in mind when you engage in joint ventures.

Joint Venture Tip #1: Make sure that if you give an interview for a joint venture that you are allowed to promote your product. Usually your joint venture partner will ask you if you want to promote your product. If they don’t then tell them that you want to.

Joint Venture Tip #2: Do a massive joint venture. If you want to get a list, money, and a product then you need the help of others. Reach and reel in as many people as you can. Remember, you can sell other people’s products and/or use other people’s lists.

Joint Venture Tip #3: Keep your website simple. Just have a squeeze page and a thank you page. At the end of the day, all you need to do is to capture people’s name & address. Then make money on the thank you page. Explain to your joint venture that your simple website structure will benefit you both with increased sales.

Joint Venture Tip #4: Create a product. For example, record your phone teleseminar, transcribe it and then sell it as an eBook.

Joint Venture Tip #5: Marketing comes first. One of the most important things to focus on is the offer. What are you offering? Why are you offering it? Then create the actual product.

Joint Venture Tip #6: Have joint ventures that have instant reciprocity. An example is to run a contest to attract people into your joint venture. If the joint venture partners can win the contest and earn cash then they will be more likely to want to create a joint venture with you.

Joint Venture Tip #7: Relationship building. Make sure that you network and build a relationship with your list. You can make more money if you have a deeper relationship with a smaller list than a detached relationship with a huge list.

Joint Venture Tip #8: Masterminding, networking, and mentoring. You need to seek out mentors to help you out.

Joint Venture Tip #9: You have to take action. You can get all the best information in the world, but you have to take action on it to see a difference.

Joint Venture Tip #10: Find your calling.
Ask yourself these questions:
What are you deeply passionate about?
What drives you economically?
What can you be best in the world at?

Joint Venture Tip #11: You need to take massive focused action. Decide on your goals. Set a date that is 4-6 weeks from today. This date will be when your product should be launched. Make sure to tell people about your date so that you are accountable.

Use these 11 tips to get started on joint ventures right now. What are you waiting for?

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

The Critical Importance of a Powerful Internet Presence.

What is the purpose of an Internet business website? An Internet business website gives you a presence on the Internet. The purpose of this website is to give you worldwide exposure. You can send products to people all over the world. You can deliver information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You don’t have to sit at your computer; you can earn money while you sleep!

If you do not have a website or you have a website that is not making you massive amounts of money then you are missing out. Your competitors have a powerful Internet presence and every minute of everyday they are snatching up the profit that could have been yours.

What is the purpose of creating a powerful Internet presence? How does this differ from having a simple website?

A powerful Internet presence makes connecting and networking with people all over the world much easier. You should significantly revise your website every 2 years to keep pace with the change in business and technology. Think about it, you wouldn’t wear clothing styles from the 1970’s, so your website shouldn’t be behind the times either!

If your website is not designed effectively or with the latest technology then customers will get a bad impression about your business. Plus, people have an even shorter attention span on the Internet then they did in the past. For example, increases in connection speeds have shortened the attention span of Internet businesses.

As of 2006 the average time a person will spend looking at an Internet webpage is 9 seconds. In 2007, it decreased to 7 seconds! This means that you have to captivate people with your website within 7 seconds. Otherwise, they will go to your competitor’s website. The goal is to not only capture their attention, but to get them to take action and buy your products and services.

Another benefit about selling on the Internet is that you can sell more items at once. Plus, you can automate the selling process. You can make money when you sleep. You can sell something that didn’t cost you any money to manufacturer or ship.

You can also sell products and services not available in any other format. For example, you can sell e-books on your website.

Analyze your Internet website. Does it utilize all the technological tools available? Do you have a powerful Internet presence or just an average run of the mill website?

Lead, Don’t Follow on the Internet

Everyone wants to make more money through their website. It is a fallacy that it is “easy” to make a million dollar business on the Internet. It is not easy, but simple if you have a plan.

You need a map to know where you are every step of the way. The problem is that most Internet entrepreneurs don’t have a map or they have a faulty map. You need a map that takes you to where you want to go. Plus, the map should be updated! Don’t rely on a map that is old because it is obsolete.

You need a specific step-by-step plan to make millions on the Internet. It is not easy and takes work. However, the work can be outsourced automatically. This allows you to work less and still earn more money.

A business “system” is the key to your success. Think of McDonald’s. They have a system in place that earns a high profit.

There is a system for making money on the Internet. It will work if you complete all the steps correctly. You have to do all steps. You can’t leave out any steps. If you complete all the steps you will succeed.

Most businesses on the Internet follow each other. They are dependent on actions of each other. Many Internet entrepreneurs end up traveling all over the place to find more money. For example, new business opportunities or fads catch their eye. The Internet entrepreneur tries all of these fads and is basically roaming all over the place. This is neither the most efficient nor profitable way to conduct your Internet business.

Most Internet businesses follow, but don’t lead. For example, a typical website on the Internet has distracting items on it such as a background of the domain name. This is a fad and many websites do this. This is not a good strategy because it is distracting. However, more websites continue to use this design because they see other websites doing this and assume it is the way to go.
