Web-Building for Beginners

Should beginners/newbies start off with a blog, a website, or both or neither?

Now this is a great question and my personal thoughts regarding this is that newbies should work on creating a squeeze page. The biggest thing that you want to focus on, if you’re new to marketing online is to focus on building your list and building your product. This is absolutely imperative because that’s how you’re going to be making the most money simply because you can sell to these people again and again. Remember, you’ll own the list because your opt-in will allow you to capture the names and email addresses of these prospects. So, I would highly urge you to do exactly that! Focus on building your list of people that are hot and hungry for that product or service you have to offer them.

Another thing I’d highly recommend is that you start looking for joint venture partnerships. Look for people that you can market your business, products and services to and build a relationship with them. Especially if you’re a newbie, start building relationships now, because when you’re ready to launch a product, then you have those people in the bag in order to make that happen.

Do I think beginners should have a blog?

Sure, but only if they can focus all their time and energy on it and systematize it so that they are posting on a regular basis. For example, if you write articles and submit your articles to the various sites out there and then take those articles and you put them on your blog, this makes a lot of sense. Basically, if you are writing articles to submit anyways, you may as well put them up on a blog. However, if you’re considering sitting down and writing specific, special content, specific for your blog, then I wouldn’t recommend it. Why? It’s going to de-focus you at the beginning.

Should a newbie start with articles even before they have a product or a website?

Yes, absolutely. I would recommend writing your articles and using them to drive people back to your squeeze page or a page where you’re capturing people’s information. This will enable you to send them information they are interested in as well as market your product to them. Here are three things you want to focus on, your list, your high ticket product and lastly maybe your continuity, too.
Now, if you ever asked me what would be the quickest way for you to make money, I would tell you by having a high ticket product. It takes the same amount of effort as selling a lower ticket product, but you can afford to sell fewer to make the same money.

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

How to Structure a JV Deal

The way to structure a joint venture (JV) deal is fairly simple. First of all, if it’s just a JV opportunity like you’re holding a tele-seminar together and agree to split the profits, then really what you want to do is have one person handle the money and then divvy it out through an account that you both have access to. That’s probably the way that I would do it. However in the planning stages get something in writing. You could have verbal emails going back and forth, just stating how everything’s going to work, so that just in case your joint venture doesn’t work out (not saying that it won’t), but you need to protect yourself and have proof of your agreement in writing.

Basically, if I’m planning on having a long-term business relationship with my JV partner I create a corporation with that individual. It may sound extreme but it’s not. This is what I do when I plan on making several deals with this person over a fairly long period of time.

What I do is we open a corporate bank account together. All the money from the merchant account goes into that bank account and then it gets divvied up from there. This is a good this to do because we have the corporation stating who owns what, so that way we make sure that everything’s getting taken care of properly and equally.

Now if you were going to do it what happens is whenever anybody purchases from you, your merchant account will send an email to both you and your JV partner at the same time to let you know that you’ve both got orders. Merchant accounts are excellent at tracking this type of information which makes it fairly simple when doing partnerships like these. However, it also can be taken care of at the shopping cart level. If you share access to a shopping cart, this can also track orders and notify you both of sales. So that’s another option as well.

But one major point I want to make very clear is to make sure that one thing you do when you are splitting the money is that you are taking out the merchant account fees. It will cost you about 3% on the way in for each transaction and 3% on the way out. So, if you have any refunds or anything like that, you want to make sure you take out that money on the way in and the same goes for the money on the way out. It’s really important for you to do that.

Either way, having a system to track orders is the best way to ensure a smooth business partnership where you can easily track what’s going on. This is the best way to keep a tab on your business.

Matt Bacak

Teleseminars: Communicate with Your Visitors

Holding a teleseminar takes patience, planning and true professionalism. If you are holding a teleseminar always remember to communicate thoroughly with your audience. What I mean by “thoroughly” is don’t only send them email message reminders, but also give them a call. As long as your opt-in form has an area where they can enter their first name, email address and phone number, you’re good to go! By giving your visitors and prospects a call you are personalizing your contact with them. You’re making them feel special and they are respecting you not only as an authority but also as a very professional and trustworthy individual that in the end they’ll feel comfortable giving you their credit card information to “make the sale”!

So, if you’ve read any of my past articles on teleseminars, you know I strongly recommend voice mail blasts. That’s right. Calling your prospect and confirming the teleseminar details is a sure way to increase your call-in numbers. What you do with voice blasts is you’ll call your opt-in visitor an hour in advance, then a half an hour before the call and then send them a quick email fifteen minutes before the call giving them the call-in details. You will reconfirm the details you’ve already messaged them in your voice mail blast. Your email should sound something like this:

“Hi, here’s the phone numbers again and I just wanted to let you know, I’m on the other line waiting for you. Now that you have the phone in your hand, it’s going to be pretty easy for you to dial in.” Something to that.

They’ll think that you’re organized and professional and they will value your reminder messages to them. Remember, your JV speaker on the call is most likely going to sell something to your audience. But make sure you sell at the end of the call.

What I usually do at the end of the call with my JV partner is I will give the speaker the URL to drive everybody to. I do this so that they can go through and order from the location that I want them to – that’s the location associated with this particular JV’s teleseminar. I also may set up a voice mail that’s specifically designed for them, for – basically, what that offer says online when the people go to it. I’ll also have a voice mail that says that same exact thing to get people to go there, too. I’ll ensure that everything is set up so that all the money comes to me first. This ensures I keep track of the sales being made. I get access to the money because this is my teleseminar and my list.

After we do that, then the last thing is, I pay my JV partner 30 days out. It’s a 50/50 split on all the deals that I do. I suggest you do the same because you need to make this a win-win for both you and your JV partner. Afterall, all they had to do was talk for an hour and make thousands of dollars in return. It’s a pretty sweet deal. You too can make deals like this if you only set them up and just make it happen!

Warmest regards,

Matt Bacak

Joint Ventures and Affiliations

There seems to be much confusion over the differences between joint ventures and affiliations because they seem to serve the exact same purpose. In all actuality, they do! However, when you joint venture with someone, this is more based on your personal relationship with that person(s) versus becoming an affiliate where you really have no relationship with the organization you are representing.

So, is one better than the other? Not necessarily, but it can be more beneficial in certain situations to joint venture. One obvious reason would be if they don’t have an affiliate program set-up, you could work out a deal with them to sell their product or service for a set commission. In this case, you can usually ask for a higher commission because a lot of times you are the one that’s responsible for doing all of the promoting. I usually accept nothing under 50%.

Another reason is that sometimes companies prefer to deal with a small group of joint-venture partners. They believe that most affiliate programs produce little in the way of results with only a few affiliates generating a significant amount of sales. So, rather than wasting their precious time developing an affiliate program they focus their energies on building solid business relationships with partners they specifically choose.

By selecting their own partners it gives them two big advantages. First, it allows them to spend extra time with quality people whom they know will go out of their way to make sales. Secondly, by establishing these relationships they have more control over who is representing their company and products. They want people who will give good customer service and sell their products ethically. Affiliation does not give them these luxuries.

“Do you know the secret aspect of success?”

99% of the time Internet entrepreneurs focus on the business tasks of their Internet business. For example, they focus on setting up their website and marketing. They spend hours discussing search engine optimization techniques. They ponder which seminars and teleseminars to attend. They seek out joint venture partners. They create products. They test and tweak their website. They follow their business numbers.

While all of these business duties are necessary they don’t take into account one very important aspect. They neglect the most powerful part of their Internet business. What is it? The answer is their mindset. People need to have a mindset that sets them up for success and thwarts any failures they experience. Your mindset is at the heart of your success or failure. All of your business duties are affected by your mindset whether you realize it or not.

How can you have the right mindset? To be successful, accomplish your goals, and achieve your dreams you need to believe the following:

Greatness always starts by saying “yes” to an opportunity.

Amazing things can happen if you are open to new experiences.

Passion ignites excellence.

Your dream is never over until you quit.

There is something inside of you that says you have greatness inside of you and that you should release it to the world.

Nothing great has ever been achieved without stretching yourself. Don’t be idle and stay in your comfort zone. If you want to experience new levels of success you have to step out of your comfort zone.

When you start saying “yes” to life more things will start happening for you.

If the dream is big enough the facts don’t count. In other words, if you are passionate about achieving your dreams, goals, and desires you will continue to work at achieving your dream no matter what happens. Obstacles will not stop you. They may just be a minor speed bump and you will overcome them by doing whatever it takes.

Do you have the right mindset? Be honest.

Matt Bacak

“How much money do you keep?”

Did you know that you can double your online sales in no time at all? You can accomplish this quickly. How? If you follow the tips and tricks of the top marketing minds in an online setting then you can reap the rewards of a soaring profit.

So many people talk about making money on the Internet. They focus solely on earning money online, but they neglect to figure out what they are going to do with this money. The real secret of making big money online is focusing not on how much money you make, but how much money you keep.

For example, you could earn $100,000 in revenues which sounds great, right? However, your overhead, expenses, and taxes may come to $99,000. This means that you really only made $1,000 in actual profit. This demonstrates that you have to focus on how much money you get to keep. You have to figure out how to slash your taxes and minimize your expenses.

Also remember that you are not an island. You can't create a cutting edge, top of the heap Internet business by yourself. You need to surround yourself with people that will help you achieve your goals. By working with other people you will skyrocket your success level and minimize the time it takes to achieve your goals.

For example, you can outsource technical tasks to freelancers. You can work with a tax attorney to slash your taxes. You can attend seminars and learn from the big wig Internet marketers so you can avoid making costly and time zapping mistakes.

Joint ventures are extremely powerful. Joint ventures enable you to work with another person, group, or business to sell and promote your products. You pool each other's resources and lists so you both make more money than if you worked alone. You can find joint venture partners through word of mouth and research. Scope out people that have complementary products to yours and contact them.

What is the best way to find a joint venture? Attend seminars. Attend seminars and conferences where you will meet like minded people. Seek out people that are knowledgeable and run their Internet business is a lucrative manner. By meeting potential joint venture partners face to face, you will have a better feel for who they are. Plus, it is easier to seal the deal on a joint venture when you meet face to face.

These are just a few of the ways to increase the amount of money you keep from your Internet business.

“Video – A Million Dollar Idea”

Have you invested in the Audio Generator Super Snazzy Player yet? Have you set up a gold membership site that brings in residual income month after month? Do you utilize Ask campaigns? Do you have lucrative joint venture partners? If so then pat yourself on the back because you are on the right track. But don’t stop there. There are still more million dollar ideas you can monetize. What else could possible be left? Read on to find out.

Million Dollar Idea #6: Use Instant Video Generator to dialogue with first time website visitors. Use online video to let people know who you are. Tell them about your free bonuses. Tell them what your website and business have to offer. Use the video to instruct people to give you their name and email address so they can obtain your free bonuses.

Video enables you to convey your messages with audio and visual components. This is much more effective then text alone. The website visitor can hear your voice and get a feel for your inflection. Video allows them to see you as well. They will trust you much more and sooner. The level of trust you can build through video is better than any other method on the Internet.

Are you afraid of being on camera? Not to worry. You can demonstrate how your product works through the video. For example, you can use screen capture of your computer screen demonstrating your new software program while you narrate the instructions.

Million Dollar Idea #7: Move the free line to the left.
Many people are scarcity thinkers. They will go to the right side of your website looking at your content. Don’t hold back on content. Give your best content away for free. The content you give away will yield you far more future sales. Your customers will be happy and impressed that you gave them valuable information for free. They will purchase products from you in the future based on the access to the free products in your first or subsequent meetings.

So there you have it, two more million dollar ideas to get started on. Take action now.

Here's the situation. You are the hunt for more small ideas that can earn you millions of dollars in return. You are actively engage in an Ask campaign. You have snagged joint partners by creating websites before your presentation. What other ideas can you use? Read on to find out.

Million Dollar Idea 4: Use the Audio Generator's Super Snazzy Player product for replays. Audio generator super snazzy player is a powerful product. It allows you to put audio on your website that runs smoothly and efficiently. You can have longer audio on your website as well that contains play, pause, stop, rewind, among many more buttons.

This is a great product to use when you want to post audio content on your website. For example, you can record your teleseminars and then upload the audio files onto your website.

Million Dollar Idea 5: Create an online gold membership group.Residual income is the key to your business success. It takes just as much effort to make one sale as it does to earn money from a monthly sale. You can make far more money by creating a membership program. “Seeking a Joint Venture Partner? Do it now, apologize later!”

You’ve started your Ask campaigns and bought Ask domains. What’s next? What other million dollar ideas can you monetize? Read on to find out.

Million Dollar Idea #2: Redirect domain names from your registrar for easy audio referrals. These websites will contain links to audios of what you are talking about. For example, let’s say you’re speaking on a teleseminar. You give listeners the name of your Ask domain which contains an audio file of a previous recorded seminar or product. This is another way to refer people to your products or the products of your joint venture partner.

You need to make sure that you don’t sound like you are trying to earn commission off the website that you refer people to. People don’t want to feel sold to even when you are just earning a commission. You can cloak the commission aspect by referring them to an Ask domain. By going to an Ask domain people can obtain the product you referred them to as well as input their concerns and questions. They will view this as a better trade for their time. They will feel like you are looking out for their best interests, not just for another commission.

Million Dollar Idea #3: Make online proposals to potential million dollar partners. Always make an online proposal in advance. Instead of asking for permission, apologize. This means that you have something to show someone before the proposal. For example, let’s say you want to partner will John Doe. You can buy and set up a domain called AskJohnDoe.com before you approach John Doe.

Then when you do approach John Doe, you will have something to show him. During the proposal presentation you can show him the website and explain how your partnership could benefit the both of you. The worst thing that can happen is that he doesn’t partner with you and you have to shut down the domain. Big deal! Setting up and disabling domains is easy. So don’t be afraid.

By setting up a domain beforehand you are making it easy for your potential joint venture partner to visualize the deal. They can see how you will make money together. They will be able to have concrete proof of how your partnership will work. All the potential joint venture partner has to do is say “yes”.

If the potential partnership says “no” and it doesn’t work out then simply apologize. Take the risk because more often than not your actions will lead to a fruitful joint venture. In fact, you may impress your potential joint venture partner with your skills, tenacity, and savvy.

Basically, you never know unless you ask and the worst they can say is “no”.

Matt Bacak

“Reach more customers with Blogs and Podcasts”

How important are joint ventures? There is a shift in the joint venture arena. Huge companies are acquiring smaller companies. Consolidation is the theme of the times. Huge companies acquire smaller companies so they could tap into their customer base. For example, they want all the Blog content and the people that read these Blogs.

People read your Blogs not necessarily just for the content, but for your personality. If they like your personality then they will continue to read your Blog. If they don’t like your personality then they may read your Blog once and leave it. So let your personality shine through in your Blog if you want to keep readers that you want to target.

The same personality theory applies to podcasts. If you entertain people and they are having a good time then the number of podcast listeners you have will soar.

What is the profit model on a Blog? You can sell advertising on your Blog. For example, you can have Google AdSense on your Blog website. If you are in a high demand, high priced keyword niche then you can make great money through Google AdSense. If you can build a nice audience for your Blog then Google AdSense and other advertising is the way to go. This can become a game of volume though and it is just one way to monetize a Blog.

Blogs and podcasts are excellent lead generation tools. In order to get the most leads, you need to keep your content fresh on your Blogs and podcasts. Provide valuable content and you will rake in new prospects and gain popularity.

A Blog lets you build a fan club that you can promote your products to. Follow up this Blog strategy with podcasts. You can show your Blog to people. Then tell them that if they like your Blog then they will enjoy your podcast. Then tell them that if they like your podcast then they will enjoy your products. It is a great way to generate a lead that converts to a sale.

You can also monetize a podcast. You can monetize it by driving repeat interest to your products based on the podcast content. Your podcast will ingrain your name and product into their mind through the podcast. The podcast lets you intersperse information commercials during your podcast.

Another major benefit of creating podcasts is that it is easy. You can create content quickly using inexpensive equipment. It is also easy for listeners to access, download, and listen to your podcasts. For example, you can have your podcasts indexed iTunes. Listeners can subscribe to your podcast and be notified every time you upload a new podcast.

“Direct mail postcards: A million dollar idea.”

Direct response marketing techniques have been around for decades and for good reason. They work, plain and simple. How can you use direct mail postcards to earn money? Keep reading to find out.

Million Dollar Idea: “Direct mail postcards”.
This is not a new concept, but is still extremely effective. You can use this direct response marketing strategy to increase your network of contacts and joint venture partners.

When would you use the direct mail postcard? You can use this strategy when you attend seminars at which you wish to network. Your goal should be to make 5 to 10 contacts. It forces you to come out of your shell and meet people. You break bread and network.

However, most people don’t know how to talk to other people. They don’t know what to ask them and/or how to follow up. Read on to find out how to meet people, what to say to them, and how to follow up that will optimize your networking experience.

What questions should you ask other people when you attend seminars? There are three questions you need to ask these people.
1.) Who are you? Make sure that you ask for their business card at this point.
2.) Why are you here?
3.) Who is the ideal prospect for you?

Jot the answers to these questions on the back of their business card.

Bring 5 to 10 pre-stamped postcards. Before you leave the seminar, mail these postcards to people that you have just met at the seminar. This forces you to meet people. It forces you to follow up. Plus, people will be impressed that you followed up with them. You can create lucrative contacts and joint ventures using this direct mail postcard method.

Tip: Take your digital camera to seminars. You never know who you are going to meet. You can take pictures with people you meet, you know, and celebrities. You can also print those pictures out at a local drug store right away. Then you can give these pictures to people that you have just met, are trying to set up a joint venture with, or are simply an old friend. They will be impressed that you took the extra step to provide them with a picture. Plus, your picture will help them remember and recognize you.

“Triple your Opt-In List in 99 Days – Part II”

Following are steps 8 -17 that will triple your opt-in list in 99 days:

Step #8: How to utilize your website traffic to build your list.
- You can split up the sign up forms on your website.
- You can add a pop up box.
- Auto-subscribing to your list by clicking twice on an opt-in box is much easier than having people type in their information. Why? They may mistype their information.

Step #9: How to make even more money from your list. This is where you start the sales process at a higher level. A small percentage of your subscriber list will actually buy so you need to…
1. Increase the number of customers.
2. Increase the amount of purchase at the time of transaction.
3. Increase the chances of the customers coming back.

In other words, sell to more people at a higher amount more often.

Tip: Maximize the traffic by up selling at the time of purchase. Think of McDonald’s – Do you want fries with that?

Tip: Get people to come back to you by sending follow up emails in an Autoresponder sequence.

Step #10: How to acquire subscribers for free. Use an ezine directory and announcement list. You can accomplish this manually or use programs that will automate this process for you.

Step #11: It is better to use a subscribe email link instead of a URL. This enables you to capture the website visitor right away.

You can also build your list for free by using a signature file. A signature file is composed of the 4-6 lines at the bottom of the email. You can include your contact information and your unique selling proposition.

You can also use http://www.listpartners.com where you can acquire the subscribers through word of mouth. You can give awards to these partners such as free advertising on your website.

You can also display testimonials that give you credibility and spread your product and service across the Internet.

Step #12: How to build your profits when you are building your list:
This can be accomplished in 3 ways:
1. Ezine ads and solo ads which are instant.
2. Pay-per-click ads in the search engines. http://www.paidperclicksearchengines.com
3. Convert visitors into email subscribers by using a pop up box. A pop up box will significantly increase the subscriber conversion.

Step #13: How to build your list through competition and co-registration.
This is cooperation with your competitor by building your list. You work with your competitor not against them.

Co-registration involves registering for complementary products during list sign up. You can recommend complementary websites and products in your thank you page. You can also go with the pay subscriber list. Good resource: http://www.listbuilder.com and http://www.worldwidelist.com.

Step #14: Create competition by fusing. Fusing is a collaborative marketing alliance with one or more business which will help you market your business while you market their business. This is also known as a joint venture.

Step #15: Attract subscribers through syndication of articles. This is viral marketing. You can have your articles appear all over the Internet in no time flat.

Step #16: Decrease your advertising cost while increasing your market research. You can accomplish this by buying subscribers in a pool of other marketers. You work together to build your lists.

Step #17: Build your list through an affiliate program. This enables you to have access to the lists of other marketers. Engage in super affiliate marketing. Build a relationship with your list and then complete a joint venture offer with somebody else in your niche that is successful.

“The Nuts and Bolts of Internet Marketing and Opt-In Lists”

There are 5 Basic Steps of Internet Marketing which include:

Step #1: Discover and sell what you are passionate about. What is your mission in life? You need to determine this because you are more apt to be successful if you work in an industry and/or niche that you feel passionate about. Find something that you can see yourself doing for several years down the road. Your passion will help you achieve success over any obstacles that may come your way.

Tip: Your business exists to support you…you don’t exist to support your business.

Step #2: Target your marketing to a niche market. Get rich in your niche.

Step #3: Find a lead product or products that your target market desires. Create low cost products under $100.

Step #4: Build and develop your own profit pipeline. You want to have a wealth funnel. This helps you maximize the amount of profit you can earn from your entire business. Profit pipeline is when you find leads and introduce them to your product through promotion and at the end of your pipeline you earn profit.

Step #5: Up sell your customers with your medium cost and high profit backend products. High ticket products are those that are $500 or higher. You only need to sell a few high ticket items to make as much or more than selling a bunch of low ticket items. Therefore, strive to sell these high ticket backend items.

Benefits of own opt-in list:

1. Builds your credibility in your niche market.

2. Builds a relationship with a large number of people. You use technology to build human relationship. In other words, you use your website to grab their attention and you talk to them on the phone to create a human component of your relationship.

3. You can convert subscribers into buyers more often than just having a list of readers.

4. You earn more money through multiple streams of income that incorporate your list.

5. You insure monthly income as long as you provide pertinent content and offers.

6. You can engage in free, instant market research by surveying your list. For example, your survey can help you create a product that your customers want.

7. You are able to promote others through joint ventures. For example, you can promote their book on Amazon to your list.

8. You have a massive amount of people that you can interact with and brainstorm with everyday.

“One Email = $87,500 Profit”

Did that headline grab you? How could you earn $87,500 profit from sending one email? It’s simple. You send an email through a Joint Venture. This joint venture was an email sent the day before Christmas. The joint venture partner changed the wording of the copy I had written. The email I gave them wasn’t the email that he sent out. So who knows – I could have earned even more money.

So here are the real numbers…
They sent the email to 39,000 people. 5.5% clicked on link in the email. I sold 502 Free CDs. I collected $3,600 for the shipping and handling.

Here’s the secret of the amazing profit…
We were offering the people that bought the CD a free phone session. During this free phone session we get on the phone with them and up sold to them. We were going to up sell them to a $3,500 product. Of the 502 people that bought the free CD, 80% ended up scheduling a phone session. Of these 400 people, we sold the $3,500 product to 1 out of every 16 people. So 25 people bought the $3,500 which accounts for the $87,500 profit. We earned this from sending out one email.

Let’s go back to the free CD for a moment. Many people wonder how to handle fulfillment. How much will fulfillment cost you?
There are two ways to run fulfillment:
1. You can do it yourself. It will cost $1 for the CD and 73 cents for postage in the continental US. So we charge $5.77 for the CD and pay $1.73 for mailing it and for whoever is making the CD and mailing it.

2. Have somebody else do it for you. This will cut more into your profit, but sometimes doing your own fulfillment can become tedious.

So take this example to heart and realize that through up selling you can earn thousands of dollars from one email in a joint venture!

“Tips for an Amazon.com Bestseller Campaign”

Selling your book through Amazon.com is a great way to not only earn money, but to increase your visibility and credibility in the business world. For example, if your book achieves Amazon.com bestseller status then your sales could increase exponentially. Otherwise, your book listing may fall into the deep sea of books on Amazon. Therefore, earning best seller status is the top goal of many Internet businesses.

Following is a list of common questions regarding an Amazon.com bestseller campaign:

Question #1: Here’s my situation. I am working on an Amazon.com bestseller campaign. I have sent press releases. So far I have a list of 100,000 people that are being sent emails regarding the book and its release. I’ve heard that you are supposed to have 500,000 people on your email list in order to crack the top ten in Amazon. Is this true?

Answer: Not necessarily. The list of 500,000 names makes it more likely for you to hit the bestseller list, but if you have a quality list than you can still crack the top ten on Amazon. You may have a smaller list, but if you have a high percentage of buyers than your list could be more powerful than a larger list with a lower percentage of buyers.

Question #2: I’ve heard about using joint ventures to spread the word about my book’s release on Amazon.com. However, I’m having trouble creating joint ventures because it is difficult to get people to commit to a venture with me since they don’t know me personally. Are there other options besides joint ventures?

Answer #2: Let’s first check out how you are going about obtaining joint ventures. The biggest problem with finding joint ventures for an Amazon.com bestseller campaign is that you don’t offer a value per value exchange. You can’t just ask people to promote you and your book to their list in exchange for nothing that benefits them.

You have to think how you can make the exchange valuable for the other person. Give them incentives that will make them more likely to send an email about your book to their list. Make sure to put a dollar amount value on the items that you offer the joint venture partner for free. Offer them bonuses that they can also offer in the email they send out to their list.

Also make sure to figure out how your vision helps push them towards their own vision. For example, some people want leads. Some people just want help. Find out what they want and need and offer it to them so they view promoting your book as a valuable exchange.

Tip: Find a book similar to yours on Amazon that has accomplished a best seller campaign. Find out what they did in their campaign. Find out what bonuses they offered. Find out who helped them and contact these people.

Matt Bacak

“Joint Ventures are powerful, but have you tried this…?”

Joint ventures are extremely helpful for an Internet business. Joint ventures enable you to cull your resources with one or more partners. They can be powerful, but are not always the best option. Why? It’s simple - You don’t have a 100% guarantee that what you agree on will be accomplished.

So the question that was asked of top Internet marketing gurus was – “If you could use one strategy to drive a bunch of traffic to your website, assuming you already have good conversion, what would it be?” Joint ventures are quick way to make this happen. However, joint ventures have drawbacks. Sometimes your joint venture partner is unreliable. For example, you may depend on your joint venture partner to send out an email and they don’t. This affects your bottom line negatively.

An alternative option to a joint venture is to buy a solo advertisement. This is a quick way to drive traffic to your website. You can also buy advertising in newsletters. There are newsletters and places on the Internet in your niche that will send out emails for you if you pay them to. These newsletters have a subscriber database of thousands of people that are interested in your niche topic. You can pay them to send out the email for you to their list.

Essentially, you write the email and pay the newsletter to send it out for you. This is a great way to ensure that your email goes to targeted subscribers. You provide copy for the email and they will send out the email on the date you specify. You can guarantee that your email will be sent out because you pay for it. Whereas, in a joint venture you don’t have this security because some joint venture partners won’t do exactly what they said they will.

Sometimes newsletters won’t send out a solo advertisement email for you. Instead, they will let you pay for a “Sponsor Link”. This is a little advertisement and link to your website. Make sure that your Sponsor Link is at the top of their page. Make sure to be in at least the top four or five links. Any other placement and your sponsor link may get lost in the sea of links.

Take action and create solo advertisements right now. They are well worth the time and cost.

“8 Secrets of Powerful Massive Joint Ventures”

Secrets of powerful massive joint ventures:
Secret #1: Make a long list of potential partners. Brainstorm to think of all the people you can ask to be part of your massive joint venture. Leave nobody off the list no matter how “big” and famous they are. You never know if they will be in your joint venture unless you ask them. So don’t rule anybody out thinking that they wouldn’t possibly respond to your joint venture request.

Secret #2: Once you acquire someone to be in your joint venture, ask them for referrals of even more contacts. By asking for referrals you can piggyback off of their reputation. Plus, you can find people that you never even knew of. Remember, a massive joint venture will include not just one, but several joint venture partners.

Secret #3: When first contacting somebody about a joint venture send them a short, simple “feeler” email to see if they are interested. If they show interest then send them a more detailed description of the project. You can also call them as well. Talking with them can be very powerful and builds a relationship.

Secret #4: Look for items that have high profit margins. Information products have a high profit margin. If you set up a joint venture with information products then ask for a higher cut as an affiliate marketer.

Secret #5: As an affiliate marketer look for fast payouts. You should get your affiliate commission quickly within one month. Read the affiliate marketing details carefully.

Secret #6: The fortune is in the follow up. An example would be to offer a bonus after a teleseminar. You can earn loads of cash by offering these extra items after the teleseminar call. The teleseminar call can be a great part of your joint venture.

Secret #7: Make money first by conducting product integration. For example, get paid to give a telephone interview and then promote and sell your product.

Secret #8: Offer free bonuses if people stay on your teleseminar call. Your joint venture partner can offer bonuses as well. Work together to think of ways to attract and retain customers.

“11 Tips for Joint Ventures”

Law of Attraction vs. The Law of Action – Which is more important?
Both laws are important. Every morning you should focus on what your goals are and then take action.

One major action you can take is to set up joint ventures. There are a few things to keep in mind when you engage in joint ventures.

Joint Venture Tip #1: Make sure that if you give an interview for a joint venture that you are allowed to promote your product. Usually your joint venture partner will ask you if you want to promote your product. If they don’t then tell them that you want to.

Joint Venture Tip #2: Do a massive joint venture. If you want to get a list, money, and a product then you need the help of others. Reach and reel in as many people as you can. Remember, you can sell other people’s products and/or use other people’s lists.

Joint Venture Tip #3: Keep your website simple. Just have a squeeze page and a thank you page. At the end of the day, all you need to do is to capture people’s name & address. Then make money on the thank you page. Explain to your joint venture that your simple website structure will benefit you both with increased sales.

Joint Venture Tip #4: Create a product. For example, record your phone teleseminar, transcribe it and then sell it as an eBook.

Joint Venture Tip #5: Marketing comes first. One of the most important things to focus on is the offer. What are you offering? Why are you offering it? Then create the actual product.

Joint Venture Tip #6: Have joint ventures that have instant reciprocity. An example is to run a contest to attract people into your joint venture. If the joint venture partners can win the contest and earn cash then they will be more likely to want to create a joint venture with you.

Joint Venture Tip #7: Relationship building. Make sure that you network and build a relationship with your list. You can make more money if you have a deeper relationship with a smaller list than a detached relationship with a huge list.

Joint Venture Tip #8: Masterminding, networking, and mentoring. You need to seek out mentors to help you out.

Joint Venture Tip #9: You have to take action. You can get all the best information in the world, but you have to take action on it to see a difference.

Joint Venture Tip #10: Find your calling.
Ask yourself these questions:
What are you deeply passionate about?
What drives you economically?
What can you be best in the world at?

Joint Venture Tip #11: You need to take massive focused action. Decide on your goals. Set a date that is 4-6 weeks from today. This date will be when your product should be launched. Make sure to tell people about your date so that you are accountable.

Use these 11 tips to get started on joint ventures right now. What are you waiting for?
